Abstract

Currently, there are many hospital building projects which generally carry out risky activities which can lead to undesirable events Based on a literature study, hospital building construction projects, including construction projects, have a relatively high potential risk of accidents. This is because the hospital construction project involves quite complex work. In this study, the descriptive qualitative method was used, that is descriptive qualitative research, that is a research approach carried out by dechiper or describe the meaning of information or data obtained. The writing of this research was based on risk identification obtained through literature studies from 10 previous studies and then validated through expert judgment by experts. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that there are 34 work accident risk indicators consisting of 5 risks from excavation and embankment work, 9 risks from formwork work, 10 risks from casting work, and 10 risks from casting work. 43 work accident risk variables consisting of 5 risks from excavation and embankment work, 10 risks from formwork work, 12 risks from casting work, and 16 risks from casting work. The results of this risk identification can be used as a basis for preventing possible risks from occuring of work accidents in hospital building construction projects.

Abstract

An internship is a set of exercises that students complete as part of training to advance their soft skill competencies. Purposive sampling is used in this study, meaning that the sample is chosen in accordance with predetermined standard that are carefully considered, namely interviews and observations. The project data results obtained included the Best Industry Surabaya Office construction project by PT. Sinar Waringin Adi Perkasa served as structural contractor and PT. Best as the owner or project owner. The Best Industry Surabaya Office Project has a land area of ± 2406 m² with a total of 10 floors (9 floors + 1 roof floor). The project value of the Surabaya Best Industry Office Project is IDR. 9,900,000,000. In this research, the results showed that during the work process in accordance with the RKS, the work drawings used were very clear and easy to understand, the implementation of the K3 system was not implemented well and operational activities ran quite smoothly and well.

Abstract

Project implementation time planning and cost budgeting are important aspects of project construction management. Project success can be measured by the timeliness of implementation and cost efficiency. One of the important components in construction is formwork, which functions as a concrete mold. The research aims examine time and cost efficiency between customary formwork and aluminum formwork in Pakal Surabaya 5-Storey Rusunawa Building project. The results show that although the initial cost of aluminum formwork is higher (Rp4.144.573.844,00) than conventional formwork (Rp3.530.269.038,00. Aluminum formwork also offers advantages in terms of efficiency, ease of installation, and quality of concrete finish. Thus, despite the larger initial investment, aluminum formwork can save time and long-term operational costs. This research provides recommendations to consider the use of aluminum formwork in future construction projects to improve project efficiency and effectiveness.

Abstract

Dalam proyek konstruksi, pemilihan alat berat sangat berperan dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan produktivitas, yang dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik alat serta kondisi medan kerja. Salah satu alat berat yang digunakan dalam proyek pembangunan Apartemen Grand Shamaya Surabaya adalah Tower Crane Zoomlion/TC6520-10E, yang berfungsi untuk mengangkut material. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data primer dan sekunder dari proyek tersebut. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak Microsoft Excel yang nantinya akan digunakan untuk mengevaluasi produktivitas alat berat tower crane. Terdapat faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi produktivitas tower crane salah satunya yaitu waktu siklus memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap produktivitas alat berat; semakin pendek atau kecil waktu siklus, semakin tinggi produktivitas, sedangkan semakin panjang waktu siklus, produktivitas cenderung menurun.

Abstract

The construction sector in Indonesia is currently experiencing rapid progress, in line with the adoption of increasingly advanced technology. This technology greatly assists in various aspects of construction projects, particularly in the planning and calculation of structural work volumes. One of the commonly used software for this purpose is Autodesk Revit. This research was conducted at the Orthopedic and Traumatology Hospital 3 project in Surabaya, with the aim of calculating the work volume of various structural elements, such as foundations, sloofs, columns, beams, stairs, slabs, and elevator walls, and then comparing the results with existing volume data. The method used is quantitative descriptive. The results of the calculations using Autodesk Revit showed work volumes such as 13.45 m³ for working floors, 300.16 m³ for foundations with 5021.76 kg of reinforcement, and 197.28 m³ for columns with 257.20 kg of reinforcement, as well as 75.36 m³ for shear walls with 4661.54 kg of reinforcement. There is a significant difference in volume calculations between the conventional method and the BIM software, with the shear wall showing the largest difference (46%) and the beam (26%).

Abstract

The implementation of the Building Information Modeling (BIM) concept is one of the significant innovations in the construction sector. Considering the substantial benefits of using BIM in construction projects and its high adoption rates in developed countries, yet recognizing the disparity in BIM software selection in Indonesia, this research aims to evaluate the outcomes of applying the BIM concept using ArchiCAD software in the building planning process. A case study was conducted on the planning of the Boys' Dormitory Building at the Baitul Makmur Islamic Boarding School in Surabaya, where the building was remodeled using ArchiCAD. This modeling produced outputs that were then analyzed as planning results. The findings indicate that ArchiCAD can apply the 3D BIM concept by automatically generating work volumes. The Budget Plan (RAB) obtained through BIM with ArchiCAD amounts to Rp. 3,743,234,392.57, which is 5.18% lower than the RAB from the planning consultant.

Abstract

Land surveying is essential in supporting a variety of modern construction projects, including in mapping and positioning housing projects. The measurement technique with the GPS-equipped Total Station allows the collection of accurate coordinate data through the polygon method, which is necessary in residential plot mapping or stakeout. This method includes collecting field coordinate data with Total Station and GPS, then data processing using Civil 3D to produce accurate topographic maps. This study aims to produce topographic maps and stakeout data in Andalusia Gresik housing. Measurements in Andalusia Housing using the Topcon GTS-230N Total Station showed a discrepancy between the measured land boundary and the siteplan map, which was then corrected by cutting roads to maximize land use. One plot measuring 7 x 12 m cannot be pegged because it exceeds the land limit set in the site plan. The elevation results indicate a height difference of ±0.3 m from the road and the existence of a mound as high as ±1.4 m. The resulting topographic map shows one meeting hall and 42 plots of houses of various sizes. Keywords: Land Survey, Total Station, Civil 3D, Topographic Map, and Siteplan

Abstract

Development is an opportunity to maximize the economy, one of which is in the tourism sector. The tourism sector plays a major role in all regions including Bojonegoto. One of the tourist developments in Bojonegoro is the construction of a mosque, which is a religious tourist destination and rest area in the western region of Bojonegoro Regency. In the construction project of the religious tourism building and green open space, there are several work items that require heavy equipment assistance in the implementation process. Problems with excavator and bulldozer performance can have a major impact on the productivity and cost of construction projects. Excavation and embankment work on the religious tourism building and green open space construction project requires several combinations of heavy equipment to complete. This research aims to identify the potential to increase efficiency, reduce cycle time, or optimize the use of these heavy equipment, and the selection of heavy equipment combinations can save project costs. The research method uses a quantitative method by optimizing the comparison of heavy equipment costs using the simplex method linear program. The results of the research are the optimal and economical alternative for excavation work using 4 units of excavators and 2 units of bulldozers for backfill work. Abstract

Pemetaan merupakan bagian pekerjaan yang sangat penting pada bidang pembangunan, khususnya di zaman modern ini. Pemetaan yang pengukurannya langsung dilakukan di permukaan bumi dengan peralatan ukur tertentu seperti total staton dan theodolit. Pada theodolit maupun total station memberikan hasil pengukuran yang akurat dan digunakan dalam pekerjaan yang membutuhkan presisi tinggi, keduanya dilengkapi dengan teleskop, sumbu vertikal dan horizontal, serta lingkaran derajat untuk pengukuran sudut. Metode yang digunakan yakni polygon tertutup karena lokasi pengukuran terdapat suatu bangunan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui selisih yang dihasilkan alat total station dan theodolit dalam pengukuran luasan gedung Fakultas Vokasi Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Hasil elevasi mengindikasikan selisih dari total station dan theodolit tidak terlalu jauh yakni dengan selisih tertinggi pada titik P7 yaitu X= -445 mm, selisih terkecil sudut X yaitu X= 0 mm, selisih tertinggi dari sudut Y = -436 mm yang terdapat pada titik P10 dan untuk selisih ter kecil sudut Y= 0 mm yang terdapat pada titik P1 hal ini dapat dipastikan juga bahwa total stasion lebih unggul dari pada theodolit.
