NTT is a province with relatively high population growth and birth rates. High population growth and birth rates can hinder development. Therefore, the government initiated a program to reduce the birth rate and control the population growth rate through the family planning program (FPP). However, there are still many couples of childbearing age (PUS) in NTT who have not experienced the benefits and access to FPP. Therefore, this research aims to group districts/cities in NTT based on the contraceptive devices of active family planning participants. This research applies a bottom-up approach with the cophenetic correlation coefficient as the basis for selecting the dendrogram formation method. From the research results, the average linkage method with a cophenetic correlation coefficient of 0.884 is the best method for producing dendrograms. The research produced 4 optimal clusters: 1 district/city joined in cluster 1, 3 districts/cities joined in cluster 2, 2 districts/cities joined in cluster 3, and 16 districts/cities joined in cluster 4. Cluster 4 has the characteristics of using all tools contraception is low, even so low that it is categorized as a priority area for government intervention in FPP.

The agriculture sector has been the largest contributor to Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in the Province of Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) for over a decade. Additionally, the agriculture sector absorbs the highest number of labor and serves as the primary livelihood for the impoverished population in NTT. Alongside its focus on agriculture, the NTT provincial government is also prioritizing tourism development as a new economic driver. This is due to the challenges faced by the agriculture sector, which remains the primary pillar of the economy in NTT, including land conversion, climate change, limited infrastructure, and low productivity. Research on the impact of tourism on the agriculture sector in Indonesia, particularly in NTT, remains limited. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the impact of tourist expenditure on the agriculture sector in the Province of NTT using an Input-Output (I-O) table approach. The study employed descriptive analysis through graphs derived from output multiplier analysis, value-added (Nilai Tambah Bruto, NTB), income/wages, and labor absorption related to tourist expenditure. The findings indicated that tourist expenditure did not have a direct impact on the agriculture sector in NTT. The agriculture sector experienced indirect impacts in terms of output, NTB, wages, and labor absorption resulting from tourism activities. The impact of tourism expenditure on agricultural output was relatively small, given that agriculture is a primary sector providing raw materials to sectors related to tourist needs. The impact of tourism expenditure on NTB in the agriculture sector was relatively high. However, the impact of tourism expenditure on wages in the agriculture sector was relatively low. Conversely, the impact of tourism expenditure on labor absorption was relatively high.

Poverty alleviation is one of the focuses of all countries in the world, including Indonesia. Based on BPS-Statistics Indonesia, monetary poverty in the age group of children (0-17 years) and toddlers (0-4 years) is higher than poverty in other age groups in 2022, which is 11.8 percent and 12.93 percent. Based on region, Nusa Tenggara Timur is the province with the highest child poverty after Papua, West Papua and Maluku, which is 25.68 percent. This study uses the MODA approach to determine the status of child poverty and multilevel binary regression to analyze the determinants of child poverty in Nusa Tenggara Timur Province. The results of the study showed that individual and household characteristics have a significant effect on multidimensional child poverty in Nusa Tenggara Timur Province. The individual characteristics that have an influence include the child's age and gender, while the household characteristics that have an influence are the Education of the Head of Household, Number of Household Members, Poverty Status of the Head of Household, Marital Status of the Head of Household, Household Recipient of Assistance, Head of Household with Disabilities, Households with Credit. In addition, the ICC value also shows that 98 percent of the diversity of multidimensional poverty status of children in Nusa Tenggara Timur Province is caused by differences in characteristics between districts/cities.

Stunting is a nutritional problem that often occurs in toddlers which is characterized by height growth that is shorter than the age standard. Based on Survei Kesehatan Gizi Indonesia 2023, NTT's stunting prevalence is at 37.9 percent, which is the second highest province in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to see what indirect factors influence the incidence of stunting in NTT province. These factors are exclusive breastfeeding, Low Birth Weight (BBLR), average length of schooling (RLS), households with access to adequate sanitation, households with access to adequate drinking water, and expenses for households with toddlers. The research results of multiple linear regression analysis at a significance level of 5% with a value of 0.002 for the variable access to adequate sanitation and 0.05 for the variable expenditure for households with toddlers. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between adequate sanitation and household expenditure on the prevalence of stunting in NTT province.

The Human Development Index (HDI) is a crucial metric for assessing multidimensional regional development quality. Nusa Tenggara Timur Province (NTT) has one of the lowest HDI scores in Indonesia, reflecting persistent challenges in education, health, and economic conditions. This study examines HDI disparities in NTT and classifies its regencies/municipality using Coefficient Variation (CV) and K-means clustering. CV quantifies inequality among regencies/municipality, while K-means clustering segments regions based on HDI patterns. The novelty of this study lies in integrating CV analysis with K-means clustering, providing a more comprehensive approach to understanding HDI disparities. This combined method allows for a more detailed classification of regions, offering insights for more targeted policy interventions. The findings reveal a decline in HDI disparity from 2020 to 2024, primarily driven by improvements in the living standard dimension. However, significant gaps persist, particularly in education and health accessibility. The clustering analysis identifies four distinct regional groups: (1) "Healthy and Educated Regions" with high life expectancy and schooling rates, (2) "Underdeveloped Regions" with low scores across all HDI components, (3) "Educated Regions" with strong educational indicators but weaker health and income levels, and (4) "Developed Regions" exhibiting high scores across all HDI dimensions. Addressing disparities in the living standard dimension remains a key strategy for fostering equitable human development in NTT.

Breastfeeding is one of the investments that a country can make to ensure a smarter and better population. Longer duration of breastfeeding can increase intelligence levels which indirectly impact the success of a country's economic strength which has major implications for the future prosperity of a nation. Breastfeeding for the first 6 months of life no other liquids or solid as Exclusive Breastfeeding. The percentage for the first 6 months of life who received Exclusive Breastfeeding in NTT Province in 2021-2024 tended to decline. In addition, the achievement of exclusive breastfeeding in 2024 has not reached the government's target (80 percent) as stated in PP No. 72 of 2021 concerning the Acceleration of Stunting Reduction. This condition actually occurs along with the improvement in the condition of health facility infrastructure and the increase in the number of health human resources. So, it’s necessary to review what variables have a role in the exclusive breastfeeding sustainability in order to find out the overview of exclusive breastfeeding and the best model in the analysis of exclusive breastfeeding sustainability in NTT Province in 2024. This study is based on National Socioeconomic Survey 2024 and using the Survival Analysis method. The results of the study showed that the best model formed was the log-logistic model with the variables initiation of breastfeeding (IMD), economic status, area of residence, and family planning (KB) which had a significant effect (α = 5 percent) on the exclusive breastfeeding sustainability in NTT Province in 2024.

The agricultural sector plays a crucial role in Indonesia’s economy, yet farmer regeneration remains a significant challenge. This study examines the age distribution of Individual Agricultural Holding (UTP-Usaha Pertanian Perorangan) in Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) using data from the 2023 Census of Agricultural. The findings indicate that most UTP holders are over 35 years old, with the highest proportion in the 45-54 age group. Meanwhile, younger managers (<35 years old) constitute only a small proportion of the total, highlighting concerns regarding the sustainability of the agricultural workforce. The study employs descriptive analysis and statistical inference using Welch ANOVA. The results show a left-skewed age distribution (skewness=-0.47), indicating an aging agricultural workforce. The Welch ANOVA test confirms significant differences in the number of UTP holders across age groups, and the post hoc Games-Howell test further highlights the underrepresentation of younger generations in agriculture workforce. The findings emphasize the urgent need for strategic policies to attract young farmers, including improved access to capital and land, the adoption of modern agricultural technologies, and competitive economic incentives. Future research should explore multivariate regression models to identify key factors influencing farmer regeneration in NTT and develop targeted
