Abstract

This scientific study systematically examines the impact of student-centered learning in education, focusing on the conscious and active assimilation of knowledge and the organization of students based on their individual characteristics. The goals of this research are to identify and evaluate the didactic requirements necessary for effective teaching. Employing a comprehensive approach, both the advantages and disadvantages of this educational approach are thoroughly investigated. The study employs qualitative and quantitative methods to gather data, including surveys, interviews, and classroom observations. Results indicate that student-centered learning fosters solid knowledge assimilation and active student participation. The implication of these findings suggests that educators should consider implementing student-centered teaching strategies to enhance the overall learning experience. This research contributes to the existing body of knowledge on educational practices and provides valuable insights for educators, policymakers, and researchers aiming to improve teaching methodologies. Abstract

This article focuses on enhancing fault tolerance and reliability in electronic systems by providing recommendations for diagnosing and repairing basic semiconductor devices. The study introduces a novel method for diagnosing radio-electronic equipment using a device that localizes faulty elements. The goals of the research include improving fault localization accuracy and reducing repair time. The proposed method is based on the principles of fault isolation and utilizes advanced diagnostic techniques. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the approach, showcasing significant improvements in fault detection and repair efficiency. The implications of this research suggest that implementing the proposed method can enhance the reliability and maintainability of electronic systems, leading to reduced downtime and improved overall system performance. Abstract

Leptospirosis, according to the zoonosis control program adopted by WHO in 1985, is one of the most significant diseases. This infection, both epidemiologically and epizootologically, is not yet fully controlled and causes significant economic and social damage in many countries of the world. Leptospirosis belongs to the group of zoonotic infectious diseases. It is characterized by an acute onset, symptoms of intoxication, fever, various manifestations of hemorrhagic syndrome, damage to the liver, kidneys and nervous system. The disease was first described by A. Weil in 1886 and N. P. Vasiliev in 1888, after whom it was long called Weil-Vasiliev's disease. The etiology of leptospirosis was established by Japanese researchers R. Inada et al. in 1915. On the territory of our country, the disease was first described in 1927 by V. A. Bashenin under the name "water fever". Highlights: Leptospirosis is a significant zoonotic infectious disease causing economic and social damage worldwide. The disease is characterized by acute onset, fever, hemorrhagic syndrome, and damage to the liver, kidneys, and nervous system. Leptospirosis was first described in 1886 and its etiology was established in 1915, playing a role in the development of a control program. Abstract

This comprehensive study delves into the examination of magazines, scientific conference materials, and other reliable information sources to investigate the craniofacial region in children with hearing loss. Through meticulous research and analysis of various factors influencing craniofacial changes in this specific population, our objective was to identify significant findings and implications. Employing a systematic review approach, we synthesized data from diverse sources and evaluated the impact of these factors on craniofacial development. Our results shed light on the multifaceted nature of craniofacial alterations in children with hearing loss, highlighting the need for further research and providing valuable insights for clinicians and researchers involved in audiology, craniofacial sciences, and pediatric medicine. Highlights: The study focuses on investigating craniofacial manifestations in children with hearing loss through a comprehensive literature review. This comprehensive analysis delves into the various stages of cotton cultivation, examining their effects on the health of cotton growers. Through meticulous research, the study investigates the main factors influencing agricultural production and their direct influence on the well-being of workers involved in cotton farming. Furthermore, hygienic measures are developed and discussed as crucial safeguards to protect the health of these workers. The findings underscore the pressing need for proactive measures to address the health risks associated with cotton cultivation, providing valuable insights for policymakers, researchers, and stakeholders seeking to enhance the sustainability and welfare of the global cotton industry. Abstract

This study investigates the biaxial orientation of films, with a focus on deformation within the plane. By employing microscopy and diffraction analysis, the average degree of orientation in each direction was determined, revealing a consistently biaxially oriented structure. The surface layers exhibited the highest degrees of orientation. These findings have implications for understanding film mechanics and performance, aiding in the development of improved manufacturing processes and materials for various industrial applications. Abstract

This study investigates the pivotal role of PE carbonyl groups in light resistance, with a focus on their impact during different stages of aging. Through the application of mechanochemical destruction, hydroperoxides are formed as initiators of photoaging in PE. Our findings reveal the superior effectiveness of hydroperoxides in early aging stages, while the presence of carbonyl groups exerts significant influence in later stages. The results emphasize the dual mechanisms driving photoaging in PE and provide valuable insights for developing strategies to enhance its durability and longevity. Highlights: The presence of carbonyl groups in polyethylene determines its resistance to light. Hydroperoxides formed during mechanochemical destruction initiate photoaging in polyethylene. Abstract

This study develops a novel trainer learning media for computer subjects and basic networking, targeting class XI Computer and Network Engineering students. Employing the Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model, the study demonstrates the suitability of the developed media through expert assessments. Validation scores of 90% and 93% from media and material experts respectively affirm its effectiveness. The trainer learning media enhances computer and network learning at SMK Yapenas Gempol, class XI, contributing to educational technology advancement in the field. Highlights: Development of innovative learning support: This study focuses on developing a trainer learning media with new innovations, aiming to enhance the learning experience for computer subjects and basic networking. Feasibility assessment: The research employs the ADDIE model and involves experts' evaluation to determine the suitability of the developed learning media for classroom implementation, with high validation scores obtained from both media and material experts. Implications for Computer and Network Engineering education: The findings of this study have significant implications for the field of Computer and Network Engineering, contributing to the advancement of educational technology and providing a valuable tool to support teaching and learning processes. Abstract

Housewives have a big role in the process of child development. So that mothers must be understand and find out about the conditions and needs of their children, especially in taking care of children with special needs (Special Needs Children).This research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The data collection technique used is the interview method. This study uses 3 subjects as sources of information in extracting data, plus 3 secondary subjects. The data collection technique used is the snowball sampling technique which will meet the criteria: 1) housewives who do not work, and 2) aged 30-40 years old. The results of the research that have been obtained state that the three subjects have psychological well-being based on aspects and factors of the psychological well-being. There are other influences that support the psychological well-being of the subject, gratitude, self-adjustment, self-concept, and regulations that exist in the three subjects. Highlights: The role of housewives in child development, especially for children with special needs. Qualitative research with a phenomenological approach and interview method for data collection. Abstract

The aim of this normative Juridical research study was to determine the role of mediators in the Sidoarjo religious court in reducing the number of divorce cases. The study found that the role of mediators was less than optimal due to the small number of mediators available, with only 5 mediators responsible for handling thousands of cases. In 2022, however, there was a notable increase in the number of successfully mediated divorce cases, with 91 cases successfully mediated in July and 80 in August. This demonstrates the potential benefits of increasing the number of mediators in the Sidoarjo religious court, as it could lead to more effective mediation and fewer divorces. These findings have important implications for the Sidoarjo Religious Court and suggest that increasing the number of mediators could be a viable strategy for reducing the number of divorce cases. Highlights: The study highlights the suboptimal role of mediators in the Sidoarjo religious court due to the lack of available mediators, with only five mediators responsible for handling thousands of divorce cases. The research demonstrates the potential benefits of increasing the number of mediators in the Sidoarjo religious court, as evidenced by the increasing number of successfully mediated divorce cases in 2022. The findings suggest that increasing the number of mediators could be an effective strategy for reducing the number of divorce cases in Sidoarjo, which has important implications for the Sidoarjo religious court and its efforts to minimize divorce rates.
