Abstract

Economic uncertainty has become a persistent challenge affecting communities, institutions, and households across various contexts. In response, social capital—comprising networks, trust, and shared norms—has emerged as a critical resource for enhancing resilience and supporting adaptive economic strategies. This study aims to analyze the role of social capital in addressing economic uncertainty by examining its forms, functions, and contributions to coping mechanisms and community resilience. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical design, utilizing a library research method. Data were collected through document analysis of scholarly articles and analyzed using an interactive model involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion verification, supported by thematic coding and triangulation techniques. The findings reveal that social capital operates across multiple levels, including communal networks, trust-based relationships, business collaborations, and household interactions. These forms of social capital facilitate risk-sharing, resource access, flexibility, and innovation, thereby strengthening economic resilience. The discussion highlights that social capital functions as both a coping mechanism and a strategic asset, enabling communities to adapt to economic disruptions more effectively. In conclusion, social capital plays a vital role in mitigating economic uncertainty, but its effectiveness depends on the integration of local practices, institutional support, and adaptive capacity to sustain long-term resilience.

Abstract

The phenomenon of mudik (Eid homecoming) in Indonesia represents a significant socio-cultural practice that reflects the dynamics of social solidarity, kinship, and collective identity. In the context of modernization and digital transformation, mudik serves as a social mechanism that reconnects individuals with their familial and communal roots while counterbalancing urban individualism. This study aims to analyze mudik as a form of social solidarity based on traditions and social relations in Indonesian society. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical design, combining library research and limited field observation. Data were collected through document analysis, in-depth interviews, and observation, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion verification with triangulation to ensure validity. The findings reveal that mudik strengthens familial, communal, and religious solidarity through direct social interaction, collective rituals, and cultural practices. It also functions as a hybrid space integrating traditional and modern forms of social relations. However, challenges such as digital dependency, commercialization, and the temporary nature of mudik limit its long-term impact on social cohesion. In conclusion, mudik plays a vital role in reinforcing social solidarity in Indonesia, but its sustainability requires broader cultural and structural support to maintain long-term social cohesion in a rapidly changing society

Abstract

The increasing exposure of modern infrastructure systems to global risks such as climate change, multi-hazard disasters, cyber disruptions, and pandemics has highlighted the need for a shift from reliability-based to resilience-based engineering approaches. This study aims to analyze the role of resilience engineering in enhancing the robustness, adaptability, and recovery capabilities of engineering systems under uncertain and complex conditions. The research adopts a qualitative approach using a systematic literature review (SLR) method, with data collected from reputable international journals published between 2021 and 2025. The analysis employs thematic and comparative synthesis to identify key dimensions of resilience, including absorptive, adaptive, and recovery capacities, as well as their integration with risk management frameworks. The findings reveal that resilience engineering significantly improves system performance by enabling infrastructure to anticipate, absorb, and recover from disruptions, while maintaining critical functionality. However, challenges such as multi-hazard modeling, cascading failures, and the lack of standardized resilience metrics remain critical issues. The study concludes that a holistic and integrative approach, combining technical, socio-economic, and environmental dimensions, is essential to develop resilient infrastructure systems capable of addressing global risks and ensuring sustainable performance

Abstract

The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies has become a key driver of economic transformation in the Industry 5.0 era, where human–machine collaboration plays a central role in improving efficiency and innovation. AI adoption is increasingly recognized as a strategic factor that enhances productivity and supports sustainable economic growth across various sectors. This study aims to analyze the impact of AI adoption on productivity and economic growth within the framework of Industry 5.0. This research employs a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from economic databases, industry reports, and statistical publications related to technology adoption and economic performance. Data were collected through documentation techniques and analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis to examine the relationships between AI adoption, productivity indicators, and economic growth. The results indicate that AI adoption has a positive and significant effect on productivity improvement, particularly through enhanced operational efficiency, technological upgrading, and improved workforce performance. Furthermore, productivity improvements resulting from AI adoption contribute significantly to economic growth by increasing industrial output and strengthening competitiveness in the digital economy. In conclusion, AI adoption plays a crucial role in enhancing productivity and supporting economic growth in the Industry 5.0 era. However, maximizing these benefits requires complementary investments in digital infrastructure, workforce skills, and supportive policy frameworks

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of inclusive leadership on employee creativity in the context of diversity workforce. The method used is mixed method, involving 285 employee respondents from various backgrounds of generation, gender, education, and ethnicity. Quantitative data were analyzed using linear regression and structural equation modeling (SEM) with bootstrapping mediation test, while qualitative data were obtained through in-depth interviews to strengthen the interpretation of findings. The results showed that inclusive leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee creativity, both directly and indirectly through psychological safety. Empirically, the R² value of 0.39 indicates that inclusive leadership is able to explain 39% of the variation in employee creativity. This finding confirms that inclusive leaders are able to create a safe, fair, and participatory work climate so that employees are encouraged to express innovative ideas. This research provides theoretical contributions by expanding contemporary leadership literature, especially the inclusiveness dimension, as well as practical contributions in the form of guidance for organizations in optimizing the potential of workforce diversity to increase creativity-based competitiveness
