Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of inclusive learning in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Boyan Tanjung and its impact on students' understanding and application of religious values. The main focus of the study includes the strategies, methods, and approaches used by teachers, the challenges faced in their implementation, and solutions that can be applied to improve the effectiveness of inclusive learning. The research approach used was qualitative with descriptive methods. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis. The research subjects consisted of PAI teachers, eighth grade students, and the principal. Data were analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and interactive conclusion drawing. The results showed that inclusive learning strategies were implemented through differentiation, discussion methods, project-based learning, and a values-based approach. This implementation contributed positively to improving students' understanding of Islamic teachings and the application of religious values in everyday life. However, several obstacles were still encountered, such as limited facilities, lack of teacher training, and diversity of student abilities. This study concluded that the success of inclusive learning in PAI is highly dependent on the support of various parties, including improving teacher competence, providing adequate facilities, and the active role of schools and parents in creating an inclusive learning environment.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the complex phenomena that occur within modern organizations, where the dynamics of power, influence, and empowerment often determine work behavior and leadership effectiveness. In many organizations, poorly managed internal politics can lead to conflict, injustice, and decreased work motivation, whereas empowerment and ethical leadership can foster a highly competitive and collaborative culture. Based on this reality, the study aims to deeply analyze how the concepts of influencing, empowering, and organizational politics interact and affect the dynamics of work behavior, as well as to identify leadership strategies capable of managing organizational politics positively while creating an effective empowerment system for all members. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method using secondary data obtained through a literature review of various academic sources, scholarly journals, and previous relevant studies. The results show that organizational success largely depends on a leader's ability to balance power and participation, control and freedom, as well as individual and collective interests. The application of leadership strategies grounded in ethics, transparency, and empowerment has been proven to transform organizational politics into a positive force that enhances performance, loyalty, and trust among members. Thus, the integration of influence, empowerment, and organizational politics not only strengthens leadership effectiveness but also creates a productive, fair, and sustainable work environment.

Abstract

Leadership and organizational structure in Islamic education are two interrelated elements that shape the direction, vision, and sustainability of educational institutions founded upon divine values. The background of this study stems from the phenomenon of weak leadership systems and organizational governance in several Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia, characterized by low managerial competence and the lack of integration of spiritual values in leadership practices. This condition hampers institutional effectiveness in achieving the expected quality of education. The purpose of this research is to analyze the role of leadership as a pillar of spiritual and managerial transformation and to describe the organizational system of Islamic education as a collaborative and value-based system. This study employs a qualitative method with a literature review approach, analyzing various academic sources, Islamic leadership theories, and previous research findings. The results indicate that Islamic educational leadership grounded in the values of amanah (trustworthiness), syura (consultation), and ukhuwah (brotherhood) plays a crucial role in building a productive and ethical organizational culture. Furthermore, an organization based on collaboration, justice, and open communication strengthens institutional effectiveness and enhances the participation of all educational components. The synergy between spiritual leadership and a value-driven organizational system produces Islamic educational institutions that are excellent, adaptive, and oriented toward nurturing individuals who are both faithful and knowledgeable.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of a simple cooling device based on a fan and ice to improve thermal comfort in the female dormitory rooms of Pondok Pesantren Darunnaja, Bengkulu. The research used an experimental quantitative approach involving temperature and humidity measurements as well as perception data collected through Likert-scale questionnaires. The experiment was conducted in six dormitory rooms measuring 3 × 3 meters. The results indicated that the device was capable of reducing room temperature by approximately 3–5°C and increasing relative humidity to a moderate level. About 70% of respondents reported an improvement in thermal comfort after using the device. Although the cooling effect was not optimal, the fan-and-ice-based system proved effective in creating a more comfortable indoor thermal environment. This simple cooling technology is cost-efficient, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly, making it suitable for application in dormitory or low-cost housing environments.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the moral and spiritual crisis affecting modern leadership systems, where the exercise of power often prioritizes material and political interests over ethical values and social responsibility. In this context, the concept of Malay Islamic Leadership is considered relevant as an alternative model that integrates moral, spiritual, and local cultural values to establish a just and civilized governance framework. The purpose of this study is to describe the fundamental principles of Malay Islamic leadership, analyze the implementation of its moral and spiritual values, and assess its relevance in addressing the challenges of modern leadership. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method using secondary data obtained through literature reviews of books, journal articles, and academic documents discussing Islamic leadership and Malay culture. The results indicate that Malay Islamic leadership is founded on the values of amanah (trustworthiness), ‘adl (justice), hikmah (wisdom), and syura (consultation), while taqwa (piety) serves as the core of a leader’s spirituality. These values are proven to be relevant in the modern context as they address ethical crises, strengthen leaders’ integrity, and reorient leadership toward service and the welfare of the community.
