Abstract

This study discusses interpersonal conflicts in the early church and the challenges faced by the apostles after Jesus. Interpersonal conflict in the church context can affect congregational life, church ministry, and bonds between congregations. This study aims to understand how the apostles dealt with the conflict and the biblical principles that can be applied in managing interpersonal conflict. In this study, it was found that interpersonal conflicts in the early congregation were caused by differences in theological, cultural, linguistic, socio- economic, political, personality, and character views. The apostles displayed tact, love, and humility in the face of conflict. They encourage open communication, understanding, forgiveness, and peaceful solutions. The apostles also built solidarity and togetherness among church members and developed leaders who were able to manage conflicts with wisdom and justice. A biblical perspective provides important principles for dealing with interpersonal conflict, including forgiveness, cooperation, speaking truth and love, humility, resolving conflict personally, and avoiding unnecessary conflict. This research provides insights for church leaders and congregation members in dealing with conflicts in today's church community. By applying the lessons learned from the apostles' responses and Bible principles, it is hoped that today's congregations can manage interpersonal conflicts well and create a peaceful, harmonious, and loving environment within the church fellowship.

Abstract

This study studied the tradition of flushing new vehicles that took place in the Sundanese community of Kemanisan Village, Sukawana Village, Curug District, Serang City, Banten Province. This tradition is carried out as a way to express gratitude for the blessings of owning a vehicle and ask for safety and blessings. The purpose of this research is to check the truth and validity of the ritual with a hermeneutic method, especially with the living hadith approach, which is to see how the teachings of the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ are understood, interpreted, and applied in the cultural practices of the community. This research uses a qualitative method with a field research approach. The data was obtained through in-depth interviews with community leaders, religious leaders, RT chairs, and residents of Kemanisan Village who were directly involved in the ritual of flushing new vehicles. In addition, participatory observation and document collection were carried out to fully understand the ritual procession, its symbolic meaning, and its social and religious functions.

Abstract

Orientalism refers to Western scholarship on the Eastern world, particularly Islam, which from its inception has been closely linked to colonial contexts, religious missions, and political interests. Over time, Orientalism has shifted from an apologetic discourse toward a more systematic academic enterprise through the study of language, philology, and Islamic history. Nevertheless, numerous studies indicate that Orientalism continues to carry epistemological biases that influence how Islam is understood and represented, including within the Indonesian scholarly tradition. This tension between the scholarly contributions of Orientalism and its hegemonic implications constitutes the central concern of this study. This research aims to examine the origins of Orientalism, its historical development, the factors shaping its trajectory, and its contemporary transformation within the context of Islamic scholarship in Indonesia. Employing a qualitative method based on library research, this study analyzes classical Orientalist works, modern academic literature, and critical responses from contemporary Muslim scholars. The analysis is conducted using historical and epistemological approaches to trace shifts in Orientalist paradigms from the colonial period to the post-Orientalist era. The findings reveal that Orientalism is neither a singular nor a static discourse. In Indonesia, its previously dominant influence has gradually declined alongside the growing role of Muslim scholars and the increasing autonomy of Islamic higher education institutions. This transformation has encouraged more dialogical and critical approaches, in which Orientalist methods may be selectively adopted without disregarding Islamic intellectual traditions and perspectives. The study underscores the importance of maintaining a critical and proportional stance toward Orientalism to ensure that the development of Islamic studies remains contextual, balanced, and intellectually equitable

Abstract

Tax serves as a central fiscal instrument in modern states; however, among Muslim societies it frequently raises debates concerning its normative legitimacy and conformity with Sharia principles, particularly due to its distinction from zakat and the Baitul Mal system. This study seeks to assess taxation as a fiscal policy instrument through the Maqashid Sharia framework by examining the extent to which tax policies contribute to the realization of substantive public welfare within a modern state context. A qualitative research design is employed, combining a systematic literature review with in-depth interviews involving academics, taxation practitioners, and university students. The collected data are analyzed using thematic analysis grounded in the five core dimensions of Maqashid Sharia: hifz ad-din, hifz an-nafs, hifz al-aql, hifz an-nasl, and hifz al-mal. The results reveal that taxation demonstrates significant potential to align with Maqashid Sharia, particularly in safeguarding human well-being, ensuring generational continuity, and maintaining collective wealth stability through the provision of public goods and services. Nonetheless, limitations persist in the realization of hifz al-aql and hifz al-mal, primarily due to regulatory complexity, limited tax literacy, and unequal benefit distribution. These findings underscore the necessity of enhancing governance quality, transparency, and the systematic incorporation of Maqashid Sharia principles in tax policy evaluation to strengthen fiscal legitimacy within Muslim communities

Abstract

The halal industry roadmap involves strengthening stakeholders involved in the development of the halal industry in Indonesia, including institutional development involving the government/authorities, consumers and business actors. With the existence of a road map for the development of the halal industry and its consistent and sustainable implementation, it is possible that Indonesia will become a major player in the world's halal industry in the future and develop competent Human Resources (HR) in their fields through the development of the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) which includes halal auditors. , halal supervisor, halal chef, halal slaughterer, halal manager. This research uses qualitative research using library research. Research results, development projections in several priority sectors as well as harmonization of institutions related to halal guarantees, improvements in infrastructure, services and services as well as improvements in human resources will have an impact on both national and global competitiveness. Data shows that total trade in Indonesian halal products in the January-October 2023 period reached USD 53.43 billion. Of this amount, exports of Indonesian halal products were recorded at USD 42.33 billion and imports at USD 11.10 billion

Abstract

Sexual violence is a violation of human rights and can occur in various forms, ranging from sexual harassment to sexual coercion without the victim's consent. A deep understanding of sexual violence and its impacts is crucial for creating a safe and supportive environment for the victims. Psychological support is an important aspect in the recovery process of witnessesand victims of sexual violence. This research aims to analyze the role of forensic psychological support for sexual violence witnesses. The study employs a literature review method, utilizing various sources such as Google Scholar and educational books that focus oncase studies of the role of forensic psychological support in assisting sexual violence witnesses. The role of psychological support provided to witnesses includes Rehabilitation, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Psychological First Aid (PFA), and Therapy Support Groups. This support helps victims understand and process the trauma they have experienced and develop healthy coping mechanisms. Providing appropriate psychological support to help victims manage trauma includes several important steps, with these strategies enabling victims to develop effective coping mechanisms and enhance their recovery journey

Abstract

The study of this research is the class teacher’s strategy to motivate class VI students to carry out the duha prayer at SD Negeri 18 Sadayan fot the 2022-2023 academic year. The aim is to describe the class teacher’s strategy planning to motivate class VI students to carry out the duha prayer. Describe the implementation of the class teacher’s strategy to motivate students to perform the duha prayer. Describe the supporting and inhibiting factors of the class teacher’s strategy to motivate class VI student’s to perform the duha prayer. The approach used is qualitative with a type of phenomenology. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data display, and verivication. The data validity checking technique uses triangulation and member check. The result is a strategic plan for the class teacher to motivate class VI students to carry out duha prayers including gradual habituation, starting habituation and continuous habituation. The implementation of the class teacher’s strategy to motivate class VI students to perform the duha prayer includes increasing the ability to memorize the reading of the duha prayer and improving the ability to practice the duha prayer. Supporting factors and inhibiting factors for the class teacher’s strategy to motivate class VI students to carry out the duha prayer, namely supporting factors: school principal, students. Abstract

The purpose of this reseach is to find out: 1) How the teachers plan to increase the motivation of third grade students to memorize the Qur’an at Rumah Qur’an Akhlak Mulia , Sadayan Hamlet, Sebayan Hamlet, Sambas District, in 2022; 2) How do teachers improve the motivation of third grade students to memorize the Qur’an at Rumah Qur’an Akhlak Mulia,Sadayan hamlet,Sebayan Village, Sambas District, Year 2022; and 3) What Are the implications of teachers in increasing the motivation of third grade students to memorize the Qur’an at Rumah Qur’an Akhlak Mulia, Sadayan Village, Sebayan Village, Sambas District, Year 2022. The reseach uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological type of reseach. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, verification and drawing conclutions. The results of the research show that 1) the teacher’s planning to increase the motivation of class III students to memorize the Al-Qur’an at the Rumah Qur’an Akhlak Mulia, sadayan hamlet, sabayan village, Sambas District in 2022, the teacher prepares material to motivate and maintain the enthusiasm of the students in memorize the qur’an. Target that has been set, and complete juz 30 and finally cary out an evaluation; 2) theacers implication increasing class students motivation for class III students at Rumah Qur’an Akhlak Mulia; 3) The teachers implementation in increasing the motivation of class III students to memorize the A-Qur’an at Rumah Qur’an Akhlak Mulia,Sadayan Hamlet, Sabayan Vilallage, Sambas District in 2022, start from the initial activities, arranging class condition, taking attendance of students and muroja’ah. Abstract

This research originated from seeing the phenomenon that occurred in schools, there were some teachers who were lacking in disciplining the learning administration, therefore the principal tried to improve teacher professionalism. This study aims to obtain clear information about: 1) Principal management plans to improve professionalism of Islamic education teachers at SMP Muhammdiyah Simpang Empat, Tangaran District, 2019-2020 academic year. 2) Implementation of school principal management in improving the professionalism of Islamic Education teachers at SMP Muhammdiyah Simpang Empat, Tangaran District, Academic Year 2019-2020. 3) Supporting and inhibiting factors for school principals in improving the professionalism of Islamic Education teachers at SMP Muhammdiyah Simpang Empat, Tangaran District, Academic Year 2019-2020. The subjects of this study were the principal and teachers of SMP Muhammdiyah Simpang Empat, Tangaran District, Academic Year 2019-2020. To obtain data related to the research focus, the researcher conducted interviews, observation and documentation using interview guidelines, observation guidelines using a camera and a tape recorder as data collection tools. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis. In this study, researchers used two techniques, namely: 1) Triangulation Technique, 2) Member Check Technique. The results of the study can be concluded: 1) The principal management plan in improving the professionalism of Islamic Education teachers at SMP Muhammdiyah Simpang Empat, Tangaran District, Academic Year 2019-2020, namely the principal makes a professional program for Islamic Education teachers, the principal makes teaching regulations for PAI teachers, the principal gives an award To teachers who excel, the principal recommends PAI teachers to take certification. 2) Implementation of school principal management in improving the professionalism of Islamic Education teachers at SMP Muhammdiyah Simpang Empat, Tangaran District for the 2019-2020 academic year was carried out by the principal preparing briefing material for PAI teachers, the principal held training for PAI teachers, the principal held supervision of PAI teachers, school principals provide guidance in terms of learning administration. 3) Supporting and inhibiting factors for school principals in improving the professionalism of Islamic Education teachers at SMP Muhammdiyah Simpang Empat, Tangaran District, Academic Year 2019-2020, namely: Supporting Factors; The school principal recommends PAI teachers to take part in the certification program. The school principal briefs PAI teachers. The principal of the school gives awards to outstanding teachers. Obstacle factor; There are still PAI teachers who are not yet undergraduate. There are some teachers who do not respond to teacher professionalism so that the school principal program does not run.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of teachers in overcoming difficulties in learning calistung (reading, writing, and arithmetic) for students in grade 1B at SDS IT Sulthoniyah Sambas in the 2023-2024 academic year. The ability to do calistung is a very important foundation for early grade students to be able to follow lessons well. However, it is not uncommon to find students who have difficulties mastering calistung skills. This research uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological research type. Data collection techniques in this research used interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The data validity checking techniques used source triangulation and member checking. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The role of teachers in overcoming learning difficulties in 1B grade students includes teacher competencies consisting of pedagogic, personality, professional and social competencies, as well as the role of teachers as mentors, trainers, and researchers. (2) Difficulties in learning calistung for 1B grade students include learning difficulties due to slow student comprehension, low student learning motivation, and low concentration, as well as difficulties in writing with the left hand and often making spelling and reading mistakes even though they have been taught repeatedly. (3) The results of the teacher's role in overcoming calistung learning difficulties for 1B grade students include an increase in students' calistung learning, namely an increase in the number of students who are fluent in reading from 9 to 16 people, showing significant progress in reading skills, and outstanding achievement was shown in arithmetic skills, where all students were able to do arithmetic well in semester 2, and the teacher's level of satisfaction in overcoming calistung learning difficulties still showed 75% because there were still students who had not been successfully guided and taught
