Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between company culture and employee achievement motivation at PT United Tractors Tbk. This company is known for its good work culture, with the slogan "moving as one" and solution-based company values. The success of this company was achieved with the support of employees who have high abilities, skills and motivation. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and literature study. Data were analyzed using triangulation to ensure validity. The research results show that a strong and healthy company culture can increase employee achievement motivation. A company culture that is innovative, supportive and open to evaluation and attention to detail regarding employee needs, such as a safe and comfortable work environment, plays a role in creating creative, committed and motivated employees. PT United Tractors also shows that good company support, continuous employee training and development, as well as a fair and transparent performance appraisal system, can encourage employees to achieve higher achievements. These findings support the hypothesis that there is a positive relationship between corporate culture and employee achievement motivation, that the stronger the company culture, the higher the employee achievement motivation.

Abstract

The aim of the research describes the representation of Islam in America in the TED Talks Youtube Channel video entitled What It's Like to be a Muslim in America. The research are analyzed including obtaining forms of representation of Islam in America, describe the representation of Islam in America and describe the implementation of the Cross Culture Understanding course on the condition of Muslims and Islam in America. The methodology of research utilized to analyze this video is a semiotic structural methodology based on Roland-Barthes theory, that was construct a structured sign system in the format of denotative and connotative signs. After the writer analyzed in the TED Talks Youtube Channel video entitled What It's Like to be a Muslim in America with using denotative and connotative analysis. Finally, the author can describe the inference that Islam representation in America consist of 3 constructions. To describe the representation of Islam in America after the tragedy in America on September 11, 2001 as the shape of   Islamophobia, and the results of this research can be implemented with the theories of the Cross Culture Understanding course

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of descriptive text writing skills of students in high classes, namely grade IV of Elementary School. The purpose of the study was to describe the improvement of descriptive text writing skills in learning Indonesian through the application of image media in using the problem based learning (PBL) model in grade IV of SDN 55 Air Pacah, Padang City. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research instruments used were teacher activity observation sheets, student activity observation sheets, and student writing skill assessment sheets. The percentage of teacher activity obtained in Cycle I was 80% and increased in Cycle II with a percentage of 92.5%. The average observation of student activities in Cycle I was 72.5% and increased in Cycle II with an average of 85%. The completion of student writing skill learning outcomes in Cycle I was 44% with an average learning outcome of 62, increasing to 84% in Cycle II with an average learning outcome of 78. Based on the results of this assessment, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can improve students' descriptive text writing skills

Abstract

Information is the result of data processing in a form that is more useful and more meaningful for the recipient that describes real events (facts) that are used for decision making. The music information system website aims to provide various communication and information services about music. The information system used by the music community so far is considered slow and complicated. Both musicians and producers have difficulty communicating directly and the number of individuals who can communicate directly is relatively small. Therefore, the current system cannot meet the demands of the information needs, it needs to be developed so that it can display information and communication facilities about music directly and quickly. In designing the music information system website using Php & MySql Script. Where in the design of this information system itself uses a Database where the use of the Database itself is as a media that manages all data and a place to store the data itself later. The information system itself is designed so that musicians and producers can create their own profiles. This information system also provides communication services about music. The final result achieved from this music information system is as a communication service for the music community, Sharing Content, publication, and promotion from musicians to the public and producers.
