Abstract

Language skills consists of four aspects: listening skills, speaking skills, reading skills, and writing skills. exchanging skills are skills that have become smaller since language acquisition. In order, starting from listening, then speaking, reading and writing. Meet all four language skills for presenters, easily implement programs. Presenter is a person who appeared in front of the camera and read the news from the studio or the person who brought all kinds of television programs from the studio. Is the leading presenter of a television broadcaster, with the task of realizing the programs that have been designed previously. In the television broadcaster, presenter is in charge of energy in the studio, while on duty outside the studio is a journalist and reporter. Presenter divided into two, namely   newsreader and newsanchor. Having all four language skills are  essential for newsanchor, because the job requires; listening skills, speaking skills, reading skills and writing skills. Listening skills, newsanchor needed when doing the questions to the speakers. The answers were listened to presenters will continue to be developed through speaking skills to explore the root causes, so we get the solution of the problem according topics covered. Reading skills, needed newsanchor, when reading the audio-visual display related topics and writing skills required, at the time of preparation of the event, both reference  and pointer events and resource-related questions. Writing skills, newsanchor needed in preparation of the event. The management of television broadcasters, can quickly understand the idea or newsanchor chill place to work. Language skills greatly contribute to the smooth and successful presenter job newsanchor on television broadcasters.Keywords: Language skills, newsreader,  newsanchor, and  broadcaster

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya fasilitas belajar seperti tidak adanya LKS dan Modul, bahan ajar yang digunakan hanya berupa buku paket sehingga siswa sering merasa bosan, dan metode yang digunakan guru dalam proses pembelajaran masih konvensional. Tujuan penelitian mengembangkan modul pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia berbasis saintifik pada materi iklan untuk siswa kelas V SDN 20 Talawi Kecamatan Koto XI Tarusan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan yaitu agar siswa termotivasi untuk lebih semangat dalam membaca, bertanya dan berdiskusi. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R & D) yang dikemukakan oleh Trianto dengan model prosedural 4D, yang terdiri dari tahap define (pendefinisian), tahap design (perancangan), dan development (pengembangan), karena keterbatasan waktu dan kemampuan maka: 1) penelitian hanya sampai pada fase development (3D), 2) Validator angket validitas dilakukan oleh 3 orang dosen ahli, 3) uji praktikalitas dilakukan oleh guru dan siswa kelas V SD, dan 4) uji efektivitas dilakukan oleh siswa kelas V SD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul yang dihasilkan dikategorikan sangat valid oleh validator dengan nilai rata-rata (91,55) dilihat dari aspek kelayakan isi (92,5), aspek penyajian dan tampilan (86,15), dan aspek bahasa (96). Hasil penelitian pada uji efektivitas dikategorikan efektif (100%) karena hasil tes siswa lebih dari KKM yaitu 75%. Modul yang dihasilkan dikategorikan sangat praktis oleh guru dengan rata-rata persentase (98,33%). Serta dikategorikan sangat praktis oleh siswa dengan rata-rata (97,39%). Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia berbasis saintifik untuk siswa kelas V SDN 20 Talawi dinyatakan sangat valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia bagi siswa kelas V.

Abstract

Penyaji berita televisi adalah orang terdepan dalam penampilan di televisi. Tugas mereka adalah memandu talk show dalam satu topik acara dengan narasumber dan bisa saja ada beberapa orang audiens serta memandu reporter di lapangan dari studio. Penyaji berita televisi dituntut kemampuannnya menggunakan bahasa jurnalistik dalam mengolah isi berita agar ringkas, singkat, padat, tertib,  dan jelas sesuai dengan kaidah bahasa jurnalistik. Kemampuan penyaji berita televisi dalam membahas setiap persoalan harus dapat dimengerti dengan mudah diterima oleh semua kalangan yang menontonnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui tingkat kemampuan penggunaan bahasa jurnalistik penyaji berita. Penelitian menggunakan karakteristik bahasa jurnalistik menurut John Hohenberg dalam (Anwar 2004:3) yang terdiri dari lima bagian, yaitu:  ringkas, singkat, jelas, tertib, dan menarik. Subjek penelitian adalah lembaga penyiaran televisi lokal di Padang TV dengan  program siaran “Sumbar Rancak Bana” yang dipandu penyaji berita. Hasil penelitian berupa paparan tentang wujud kemampuan penggunaan bahasa jurnalistik penyaji berita.Kata kunci: bahasa jurnalistik, penyaji berita televisi, dan lembaga penyiaran televisi

Abstract

Inovasi pengajaran membaca siswa pendidikan dasar perlu dikenalkan dengan penggunaan group investigation, khusunya pada kelas tinggi yaitu kelas V SD. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model group investigation khususnya terhadap hasil belajar membaca pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas V SD Negeri 03 Alai Padang. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori Shoimin (2014) tentang model pembelajaran group investigation, Sudjana (2016) tentang hasil belajar dan Widianto (2015) tentang membaca. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah eksperimen. Desain dilakukan melalui pretest-posttest control group design. Populasinya adalah siswa kelas V A dan siswa kelas V B pada SD Negeri 03 Alai Padang. Kelas VA sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan 28 siswa dan kelas VB sebagai kelas kontrol dengan 27 siswa, karena kedua kelas homogen maka teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak. Nilai rata-rata kedua kelas sebelum perlakuan (pretest) pada kelas VA adalah 73,25 dan kelas V.B adalah 72,40. Data yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah skor hasil belajar membaca mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia ranah kognitif yang diperoleh melalui tes akhir (posttest) dalam bentuk objektif. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji-t karena data berdistribusi normal. Nilai hasil pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara kelas eksperimen yang diajar dengan model group investigation dan kelas kontrol yang diajar dengan metode konvensional. Nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol dengan rata-rata kelas eksperimen 87,28, sedangkan rata-rata kelas kontrol adalah 82,25. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model group investigation berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VA SD Negeri 03 Alai Padang.

Abstract

The background of the research is the low value of learning Indonesian in class V SDN 03 Alai Padang. This study aims to increase the activity and discussion of Indonesian language learning students using the Examples Non Examples approach. The measuring instrument in this research activity uses test and non-test instruments. Tests are in the form of quantitative and non-tests are in the form of qualitative. The results of the data analysis obtained by students' activities in discussing increased the average percentage for the first cycle category and for the second cycle category, namely (83.10%) the good category became a better category. good, namely (85.07%). Activity on teachers increased the average percentage from good category from cycle I to cycle II increased from (80.35) very good category to (91.06%). Student learning outcomes in two cycles, namely the first cycle of students who finished studying (85.71%) in very good category and students who had not finished learning (14.28%). While in the second cycle, students who finished studying (96.42%) were in very good category and students who had not finished studying (3.571%), with an average score. So student learning outcomes have reached the indicators of success in the implementation of learning achieved 80%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an increase in learning through student discussion activities and student learning outcomes at the research site in class V SDN 03 Alai Padang with the Examples Non Examples approach.Keywords: Examples Non Examples, Learning Activities, Discussion, Indonesian Language.

Abstract

This research aimed to produce Bahasa Indonesia learning modules to achieve educational goals efficiently and effectively. It was Research and Development (R & D) proposed by Trianto (2009) with procedural implementation up to 3D, which consisted of the define stage, design stage, and development stage. The validators of the questionnaire were three expert lecturers. Furthermore, the effectiveness test was the test result of the class IVB students at SDN 03 Alai Padang, while the practicality test was carried out on teachers and students. The limited-scale module trial stage was carried out on five students of class IVA, and the small-scale module test was carried out on 28 students of class IV B. The results showed that the validity test of the resulting module was in the category of very valid with an average value of 91.23% both from the aspect of the content or material feasibility 90% and from the presentation and language 96% and design was 87.70%. The results of the module effectiveness test were in the category of effective (98%). The resulting module practical test was categorized as very practical by the teacher, with an average percentage of 95%, and very practical by students, with an average of 98.2%. The innovation of interactive Bahasa Indonesia learning modules based on science for the basic educational level in the global computing era meets the criteria of valid, practical, and effective. This interactive Bahasa Indonesia learning module based scientific can be used as a learning resource on poetry subjects for fourth-grade students in elementary school.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa pada kelas I di SD Negeri 14 Padang Aro Kecamatan Rao Kabupaten Pasaman. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa dengan menggunakan metode global kelas I SD Negeri 14 Padang Aro Kecamatan Rao Kabupaten Pasaman. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa observasi kegiatan guru pada siklus I sebesar 69,04% meningkat menjadi 80,95% pada siklus II. Pada lembar observasi kegiatan siswa pada siklus I sebesar 71,87% meningkat menjadi 81,25% pada siklus II. Nilai tes membaca permulaan melalui metode global pada siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata 77,94 dengan persentase ketuntasan 70,58% terjadi peningkatan pada siklus II dengan nilai rata-rata 88,23 dengan persentase ketuntasan 82,35%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa telah terjadi peningkatan membaca permulaan menggunakan metode global pada siswa kelas I SD Negeri 14 Padang Aro Kabupaten Pasaman.
