Abstract

Increasement of water demand that caused from the population increasement and land use change over at Progo Basin, inversely with water supply to that area. So that, the solution to conquer the problem is to build a water reservoir. One of the alternative is Salak Dam which located at Kalibawang District, Kulon Progo Regency, Yogyakarta. Salak Dam is a vertical core earthfill dam, which built on Salak River with 9.4 km2 of catchment area. This dam aims to fulfill public water supply and watering three fields area and designed with 100 years of return period with inflow discharge valued 46.9 m3/second. Salak Dam designed 48.5 meters of height, with 18.5 million cubic meters of capacity. This dam equipped with 2.2 meters of diameter outlet pipe, Ogee type of spillway with 20 meters of width, and USBR III of stilling basin. Construction of Salak Dam costs around 450 billion Rupiahs and scheduled for 39 weeks.

Abstract

Analysis of the structure is one important thing in planning the structure, particularly the structure of the building. There are two ways to analyze the structure, structural analysis of 2D and 3D structural analysis, with using computer program SAP2000 to get the value and direction of the force used in designing the structure. Comparative study of the structural analysis of 2D and 3D structural analysis is doing on  the existing structure Inn Express Hotel (HIEX) Semarang, that have purpose to compare the output styles, knowing the advantages and disadvantages of both ways, and counting the moment capacity. The results of the analysis of the structure of the results obtained is the difference in styles between 2D and 3D is relatively small with the analysis of 2D structures larger than the 3D.

Abstract

Today the rapid development of the construction project running and often in large-scale costly and have a method that can improve the quality of planning and control to deal with the number and complexity of the project activities are likely to increase. The contractors are often faced with projects that contain identical or similar multiple units, such as segments on the flo or of multistory buildings, housing units in the residential development, and road sections in road projects. The purpose of this study is to compare and determine the critical path of Critical Path Method, Precedence Diagram Method, and Line of Balance to find the appropriate scheduling method character for the repetitive project and compare each method in terms of the method using, the production calculation speed, the dependence logic, the constraints on the activities, and analyze the advantages and lacks. The analysis process is done by comparing the Critical Path Method, Precedence Diagram Method, and Line of Balance for building and road projects. From the results of the literature study and data analysis are found the lacks and advantages visually that is Critical Path Method and Precedence Diagram Method has a more complex visual display so it is not easy to understand and can not directly detect impaired activities in project scheduling. But can show you specific logical dependency relationships between the activities and projects can determine the critical path. Line of Balance has a visual display that is simple and 2 easy enough to understand. Line of Balance can also directly detect impaired activities in project scheduling, but Line of Balance can not point to specifically logical dependency relationships between activities and projects critical path.

Abstract

The imbalance between need and supply on public transportation at Tembalang territory has caused the drivers do not obey their fixed route, so it reduces user’s comfort. Therefore, it needs an evaluation for effectiveness and efficiency on public transportation so that public transportation performance can be improved. Primary data gained from questioner, static survey or dynamic and analyzed to be quantitative indicator. Qualitative indicator is using Important Performance Analysis (IPA) method.  The analysis result will be compared to Standar Pedoman Teknis Penyelenggaraan Angkutan Umum di Wilayah Perkotaan Dalam Trayek Tetap dan Teratur (2002) and Sistranas year 2012 to reach a conclusion on public transportation performance at Tembalang territory. The research result shows that the movement pattern in Tembalang territory is uneven. While the result from qualitative indicator analysis shows well-matched result with existed regulation or stardart, in other words, public transportation in Tembalang territory is effective and efficient. However, this conclusion has not described comfort perception from public transportation’s user. Processing result using IPA method shows several indicators spread evenly to 4 quadrants, the important indicator and its quality needs to be improved are public transportation's comfort and waiting time. Enhancement on effectiveness and efficiency need to be done by improving all aspects starts from service, transportation renovation, until communication development between the community of public transportation and related parties when there is a decision related to public transportation can gained effective solution for both sides.

Abstract

Diponegoro University is a State University in Central Java. FIB, FH, and FISIP is part of some faculty at UNDIP. The layout of the three faculty are close each other. One of the problems from the three faculty is parking space requirements. Although it has provided a parking space (off street parking) in each faculty, but in reality there are many vehicles parked on the roadside (on street parking). This final report aims to evaluate the need of existing parking spaces and planned capacity expansion of existing parking spaces. Methodologies used include: field surveys, problem identification, data collection, test of the validity with chi-square test, data analysis, calculation of SRP needs, arrangement of the old park and planning of new park. The number of the current shortage of parking space requirements for overall three faculty is 91 SRP for cars and 59 SRP for motorcycles. Meanwhile for the development of the next 5 years is 138 SRP for cars and 466 SRP for motorcycles. Development of parking area with the integrated construction for FIB, FH, and FISIP are given alternative. Construction of the integrated parking building is planned 3 floors with total floor area of 5775 m². 1st floor with area of 1925 m² can serve 468 SRP motorcycles and 15 SRP cars. 2nd floor and 3rd floor with the same area is able to serve 62 SRP cars. Based on the analysis of the calculation, planning is considered to have been able to solve the needs of today and the parking spaces for the development of the next 5 years is until 2017. To solving the possibility of the occurrence of on-street parking, the solution is given by the installation of parking prohibition signs around the side of the road.
