Abstract

One of Tanjung Emas Port’s primary facility is container terminal yard used as center of container handling. The traffic of goods increase year by year. For increasing performance it needs center of generator room for e-RTG (Electrified Rubber Tyred Gantry Cranes) and CC (Container Crane). Therefore it is needed to build Generator Room at Container Terminal so that the activity of unloading and loading is getting easier. Before build Generator Room at Container Terminal, first we evaluated geotechnic and the structure of building. The part of upper structure design uses SRPMK with Strong Coloumn Weak Beam method, for foundation consists of pilecap with concrete pile until depth 20 m. From the result of analysis geotechnic and building structure can hold the load of the building. The consolidation settlement at Container Terminal Semarang area is 8,17 cm with time’s consolidation is 17 mounths 16 days, so it must be compacted to increase its density.

Abstract

The structure of @HOM Hotel Kudus building design by SNI 03-1726-2012. To obtain ductile structure, special moment resisting frame (SRPMK) used. The analysis of the structure using SAP2000 software. Loading structure refers to SNI 03-1727-2013. Required for earthquake resistant buildings should not happen bristle failure. Thus the plastic hinge detail and beam-column joint must be calculated correctly. Lateral deflection requirements beetween floors should be controlled so that the stiffness of structure is not soft.

Abstract

Sebelimbingan – Martadipura road has a length of 2.8 km, it was built in the sub-district of Kota Bangun, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan. Trace of the road must pass through areas with very soft soil condition. During the rainy season, the location of  alignment in this road flooded. To overcome these problems then built bridge using Slab on Pile structure. Slab on Pile structure consisting of slab, pile head and pile foundation. Loading standart on the structure refers to the SNI T-02-2005 (Standar Pembebanan Untuk Jembatan). Modeling of pile foundation used elastic spring reaction model, which can represent the bearing capacity of pile foundation.

Abstract

Flood in the Semarang City occur every year in the rainy season, drought and water shortages in the dry season. It has been built Jatibarang Reservoir and upstream there is a potential reservoir that could add to the raw water supply and flood control. The analysis used in planning reservoir that is the analysis of hydrology and hydraulics. Hydrological analysis using methods Soil Conservation Service Unit Hydrograph Synthetic (SCS) and Unit Hydrograph Synthetic of GAMA I. Q100 flood discharge plan with 165 mm of rain, the result of a method SCS unit hydrograph assisted HEC-HMS program amounting to 442 m3 / sec while the HSS GAMA I method with 218 mm of rain discharge plan generated at 359.02 m3 / sec. Flood discharge calculation used is a method SCS. PMF flood resulting from rainfall of 2408.7 mm deep as 677 m3 / sec. With the design of flushing water of 1.7 m3 / sec then storage volume up to 20,000,000 m3 and a storage volume of sediment up to 1,000,000 m3. With the reservoir can reduce flooding 100-year period by 77% from 442.9 m3 / sec to be 97.1 m3 / sec, and reduces the PMF discharge of 66% of 2408.7 m3 / sec to be 814.2 m3 / sec and reservoirs totaling 38 million m3. Dam 34 m high, dam crest 10 m wide, rock fill zone embankment type and spillway crest width of 20 m

Abstract

Nowadays as the mobility of a person develop tends to require a shorter time, where time is a commodity that can’t be saved or stored so that time is very important to everyone. In this case the time value changes according to the level of income. When faced with two choices of Ring Road and Existing Road Ambarawa, person with high income levels tend to more appreciate the value of time by choose a route that has a value of time much more efficient. The aim of this study is to analyze the effect of the time value of road users traveling in the magnitude of Vehicle Operating Costs (VOC) for route selection on the Ring Road and Ambarawa Existing Road with Logit Binomial Model. The methodology of this research is to analyze the value of travel time Income Approach method is used, then to analyze the results of the calculation of the Vehicle Operating Costs (VOC) formula used PCI (Pacific Consultant International), and then to analyze the route selection with Logit Binomial Model. Results of the analysis can be concluded that the greater the time value of road users, then the probability of route selection-A also increased, due to the time value of road users with greater income, more important than the time value of road users with lower incomes.

Abstract

Trowulan Covered Museum is a museum to be built in Mojokerto and its function is not only to implement the protection of objects of cultural heritage relics of the Majapahit Empire, but throughout the ancient relics in East Java. Therefore, the longer the collection becomes more and more. To overcome this it will be built Trowulan Covered Museum with wider designed located about 2 kilometers from the old museum is on the road Mojokerto-Jombang km. 13. The Trowulan Covered Museum consists of 3 floors and one basement where each floor is divided into four segments, each segment is connected by a ramp. Trowulan Covered Museum structure is designed based on Design Capacity method or SRPMK (Struktur Rangka Penahan Momen Khusus). SRPMK main concept is to make the column stronger than the beam (strong column, weak beam) that is expected to occur in the plastic joint which can emit a beam of energy in the quake. The main guideline in planning drawn from imposition Regulations, 1987, Concrete SNI 03-2847-2013 and SNI 03-1726-2012 earthquake and earthquake response parameter values obtained from the website Puskim Ministry of Public Works for the city of Mojokerto and assisted SAP 2000 version 14. Item jobs are taken into account include the overall structure of the work, namely stairs, ramps, floor plate, beams, columns, beam-column connections, and foundation.

Abstract

Somosari Village and its surrounding area in Jepara District is currently having a decline in its water resources. This condition is indicated by the drop of ground water level, the drought among its river and the reduction of water availability through out its irrigation. On the counting, this condition is contrasted by the flood during the rainy season. An alternative solution to the conditions is to build small dam in Somosari Village. The small dam is function as water reservoir, flood control, and conservation. The final project was based on some complementing methods. The first method is hydrological analysis which included storage capacity analysis using simulation. The other hydrological analysis are analysis of flood discharge using Weduwen Methods, discharge mainstay analysis using Basic Year Methods, water demand analysis and water balance analysis. The last phase is small dam construction planning. The result suggest that Somosari Small Dam will have 100752.736 m3 storage capacity, handle the flood debit of 426,279 m3/sec with cycle period of 100 years. The small dam is planned to be build as high as 18 m with the base elevation degree +274.48, and effective width of 22.127 m. The small dam constructed using K 300 concret and fill soil with estimated cost of Rp 20,814,178,800.00 (twenty billion eight hundred fourteen million one hundred seventy eight thousand and eight hundred Rupiah).

Abstract

The stress-strain response of the basic concrete making material, i.e. the mortar and aggregates, are well known. In general, the aggregate behaves linearly up till failure, possessing a very high ultimate compression strength and stiffness. The behavior of mortar is non-linear, even at low loading levels. The resulting composite material, the concrete, exhibits a less stiff response, in combination with degradation in strength. This study looked into the influence of the centroid distance and configuration of a 100x100x50 mm mortar specimen. Two inclusion configurations were considered, parallel and diagonal to the line of loading with the distance variety. It was shown that the centroid distance and configuration strongly influenced the strength, the stiffness, and failure mode. The strength behavior had a minimum and a maximum bifurcation point, while the stiffness response increased, as a function of an increase in the inclusion-to-specimen volume ratio. Visual observation of the cracking pattern revealed that the initial cracking was always situated at the interface between the aggregate and mortar in tension and propagated through the mortar matrix. It was also perceived that the crack propagation path of the very dense, diagonally arranged inclusions deviated from the columnar configuration observed from the parallel inclusion formation.

Abstract

Hairpin curve is an accident prone location. The number of accidents on curve 1,5 to 4 times much more than on straight road. This study aimed to evaluate the geometric conditions on some curve that is reviewed by applicable geometric rules, to determine the characteristics of the accidents, to determine the relationship of modeling the causes of accidents, to determine the main factors causing traffic accidents, and provide troubleshooting recommendations. The analysis that is carried out are analysis of geometric condition evaluation, accident characteristics analysis, and cross tabulation analysis. Based on the evaluation of the geometric conditions, on all of the third curves there are not reach the technical standards because under minimum curve radius and the value of SMS of sample vehicle variety more than SS curve calculation speed limit nearly reach 50%. Based on the characteristics of accidents, on the third curves showed that the dominant factor causing accidents is human factor (70%). The results of study relationship between curve radius and degree of fatality indicate the value of R Square 0,859, meanwhile relationship between speed and degree of fatality indicate the value of R Square 0,91. The sum of the analysis showed the main factor causing traffic accidents is human factor specificly to the speed factor and then continued by curve radius factor. Several attempts types of treatment that can be applied is to install speed limit signs in some specific locations, make rumble strips before entering the hairpin curves.

Abstract

Galeh river is one of rivers which are on the slopes sindoro ( 3153 mdpl ). Galeh river in length a major river more or less 18,3 km with broad das 41,05 km². The distance landscapes of the river galeh is ± 35 m, and slope the river that is 12,35 %. With a baseline a river that relatively precipitous, so the flow of high speed would be easy gradually crushed, especially on the basis, the river wall, who has resulted in the erosion and sedimentation. To reduce the potential this danger, attempts to prevention of building construction control sediment (Check Dam). From the data hydrology in the form of rainfall daily, DAS map, topographical maps and map geometry the discharge flood get the target 283,044 m3/seconds. Data hydrological and reference is to be cultivated as the basis for planning main dam, sub dam, apron, and support buildings other, obtained the results of the total in the form of high Main Dam 3,55 meters as much as, high total Sub Dam 2.2 meters, long an apron of about 20 m and volume tampungan 5.478,27 m³ as much as, with a total cost amounting to Rp 2.362.300.000,-. Check Dam development will be more optimal if accompanied by a system of the observance of which either by other relevant offices prosentase it is expected that the affected areas the flow of sedimentation can be reduced significantly..
