Abstract

Impulse buying is a condition that occurs when individuals experience the feeling distressed, suddenly that cannot be countered. There are several factors that affect the impulse buying, among other characteristics such as low product prices, characteristics of marketing such as advertising, material to be discounted at the position, and the goods on display, and characteristics circumstantial as personalities, and consumer demographic. Research on the problem this time around is occurs a decrease in the number of transactions amounted to 9.8% and consumer traffic to 4.4% in Matahari Department Store Java Supermall Semarang year 2016. It is contrary to the purpose of the company in the conduct of the promotion, store atmosphere and ease of payment in order to attract consumers to buy. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of promotions, store atmosphere, and ease of payment against impulse buying either partially or simultaneous. The research results showed that all the independent variables have a positive affect toward the dependent variable, either partially or simultaneous showed the existence of a variable influence promotions, store atmosphere, and ease of pemabayaran against impulse buying. While the views of multiple regression test, the variable has the largest value of the promotion or the strongest value of beta of 0.429, followed by a variable store atmosphere with a beta value of 0.322, and ease of payment with variable values of beta 0.256. From this research are expected to maintain the company's promotion is done. This is because at this time the research, promotion variables have the greatest value or the strongest compared to two other variables, so that by enhancing the promotion of consumer interests can trigger buy especially unplanned purchases (impulse) on the producing company.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of social media marketing and brand awareness of purchasing decisions through buying interest as an intervening variable J.CO Donuts & Coffee in Semarang City. This type of research is explanatory research. Sampling technique using non probability sampling technique with purposive sampling and Accidental sampling method. The number of samples taken as many as 100 respondents with a ratio of 40:60 in both branches J.CO Donuts & Coffee Semarang. In this study assisted by SPSS 16.0 system. The results showed that social media marketing influence on buying interest by contributing 15.6% while the rest influenced by factors other than social media marketing. Brand Awareness influences buying interest by contributing 31.3% while the rest is influenced by factors other than brand awareness. Meanwhile, buying interest influences the purchasing decision by contributing 23.3% while the rest is influenced by factors other than buying interest. Based on result of regression analysis of two stages known that variable of buying interest can be intervening variable from social media marketing and brand awareness to purchasing decision. It means that the better social media marketing and brand awareness, the higher the buying interest and the better the buying interest, the higher the purchasing decision of J.CO Donuts & Coffee in Semarang City.

Abstract

PT. Kota Jati Furindo is a furniture company producing indoor dan outdoor furniture with high quality products. The problem in this research is the amount of achievement of production realization is fluctuative which tend to decrease. That indicates low of employee performance. PT. Kota Jati Furindo needs to pay attention to what matters that can affect employee performance to create a strategy to be able to compete with other furniture companies. The purpose of this study is to identify the influence of compensation and motivation for employee performance. The type of this research is explanatory research. The sample used are 119 respondents who have worked at least 6 months at Production division II PT. Kota Jati Furindo. The sampling techniques is simple random sampling. The data collection technique are questionnaire and literature review. Data analysis techniques are correlation, simple linier regression, multiple linier regression, t and F test with SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) program version 16.0 The result of this study showed that the compensation has an effect on employee permormance with a correlation coefficient about 0,744 and determination coefficient about 55,4%, motivation itself has an effect on employee performance with a correlation coefficient about 0,646 and determination coefficient about 41,8%. Both compensation and motivation have an effect on employee performance by the equation of Y = -1,243 + 0,464X1 + 0,280X2. This means that the affect of compensation and motivation will improve employee performance. The conclusion of this study is, that compensation and motivation influence the employeeis performance. The recommendation proposed follow. It is necessary to evaluate its compensation system and strengthen the motivation of employee.

Abstract

The research problem is low productivity of employee at department of production at PT. Pantjatunggal Knitting Mill. The purpose of this research is to identify the influence of the dual role of women employee, work stress and discipline work against female employees work productivity in PT. Pantjatunggal Knitting Mill. Type of research is explanatory. The sampling technique used is probability sampling, with proportionate sampling type. Samples were taken with the Slovin formula of 10% (0.10), and obtained a sample of 84 respondents using a questionnaire. The analysis method is with correlation, the coefficient determination, t test, and f test by using SPSS 21.0 for windows. The Results of the categorization show that of most employees have a double role is high enough. Have a significant influence (partial) with low correlation (0,036), coefficient determination 3,6%, t count (-1,747). Categorization work stress categorization of most employees is high and have a significant influence (partial) with low correlation (0,067), coefficient determination 6,7%, t count (-2,004). Discipline of work categorization of most employees have a good discipline have a significant influence (partial) with medium correlation (0,401), coefficient determination 16,1%, t count (3,961). Dual role, work stress, and discipline of work variables together (simultaneously) have a positive and significant effect on work productivity with medium correlation (0,036), coefficient determination 18,3%, and f count (5,964). The conclusions are that the dual role, work stress, and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on work productivity. The suggestions that the management need to pay attention to employees, to provide clear information to employees, and to gave sanction based on the rules.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of product quality and brand image on purchase decision of Tahu Baxo Ibu Pudji Ungaran. Type of research using explanatory research with data collection methods using interviews and data collection tools using questionnaires with a sample of 100 respondents consumers Tahu Baxo Ibu Pudji Ungaran use Purposive Sampling method. The analysis technique used validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t test, and F test with SPSS 16.0. From result of research indicate that product quality have influence to purchasing decision equal to 43,2%, brand image influence to purchasing decision equal to 62,7%, while simultant product quality and brand image influence to purchasing decision equal to 67,5%. This means that the better the product quality and brand image, the higher the purchase decision of Tahu Baxo Ibu Pudji Ungaran. Brand image variables to purchase decision variables have greater effect than product quality variables. Based on the result of the research, the researcher suggested that Tahu Baxo Ibu Pudji industry to make improvements and developments in packaging design and product durability in order to get better product quality and give good impression to the consumer, and to analyze the level of consumer likeness and loyalty in order to get a better brand image

Abstract

Leather is a material commonly used and well-known by Indonesian people. Its used to make crafts in the form of jackets, purses, wallets, belts and hats. Leather has been famous in the world and becomes a trend of a good fashion among children, teenagers and parents. The leather craftsmen are facing strictly competition inside and outside the city so should be able to innovate continually. The aims of this research is to determine the effect of Market Orientation (X1) and Entrepreneurship Orientation (X2) and its effect on Sales Performance (Y) at SME (Small-Medium Enterprise) of Sukaregang Village, Garut. The type of this research is explanatory research with 25 respondents who have SME (Small-Medium Enterperise) of Sukaregang Village, Garut leather product that has been established for at least three years and have at least two functions employees. Questionnaires and interviews is used in collecting data and using Likert scale. In the data analysis using validity test, reliability test, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression analysis and test of significance (t-test and F test) by SPSS 20.0. The results show that market orientation and entrepreneurship orientation has good categorization while the sales performance has a high categorization. There is influence of market orientation to sales performance with t value (4,229)> t table (1.713), influence of entrepreneurship orientation to sales performance with t value (3.059)> t table (1.713), and influence market orientation and entrepreneurship orientation on sales performance with the value of F value (10.124)> F table (3.44). Based on the results all independent variables in this study have an influence on the dependent variable either simultaneously or partially. Sukaregang Village Leather Craftmens, Garut should be able to innovate continually and know their customers so they can market the product in according with their respective markets.

Abstract

The business world is increasingly leading to electronic media, causing the use of online stores (onlineshop) as a medium of purchase transactions of goods or services become increasingly increased rapidly. In e-commerce business competition is required to have capabilities and strategies that can capture opportunities and update the market. Strategies that can be done in the form of E-WOM and E-WEB so as to encourage the increase of E-TRUST that will make E-LOYALTY of customers increases. Type of research used is explanatory research. Sampling technique using Purposive Sampling, the sample used in this research is a student of Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Diponegoro University who had been shopping at Tokopedia online site. Respondents in this study amounted to 100 respondents. The data were collected using a questionnaire using a linkert measurement scale. This research uses path analysis technique by improving the software package of SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) version 22.0 which used Validity, Reliability, Cross tab, correlation coefficient, simple regression and multiple regression analysis, significance test (t test and F test.. The results showed that all independent variables in this study had a positive and significant influence on the dependent variable, either partially or simultaneously, while the E-TRUST variable acts as a partial intervening / mediation variable indicating there is indirect influence of E-WOM and E-WEB on E-LOYALTY.

Abstract

Product innovation capability of the small and medium industry can be affected by a variety of factors, both internal and external company factors. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the information management and entrepreneurship against the industries performance of small and medium enterprises. The research type is explanatory research. This study uses sensus method which all of the population becomes respondent. Data collecting using a questionnaire and interviews. Data analysis using simple and doubled linier regression analysis using IBM SPSS 20.Results of statistical analysis known that together the information management and entrepreneurship effect on product innovation capabillty.The conclusion from this study is that there is a positive and significant influence between information management and entrepreneurship to product innovation capability on the Small and Medium Industry of Wooden Batik Krebet Bantul. Researcher suggest that IKM improve all of the informations that related to business so can always support the continuance of business, and improve the capabillty to build any idea for create products that can be accept by market.

Abstract

Beauty care products like a facial masks are an important requirement for women. PT Mustika Ratu which produce facial mask has decreased of sales and decrease Brand Index from 2014-2017. This study focus on the influence of product quality and price on consumer purchasing decision in Tembalang Districts Semarang City. The purpose of this study is to identify the influence of product quality and price on purchasing decision of Mustika Ratu face mask for consumers in Tembalang Districts Semarang City. The type of research is explanatory research. Sampling technique is non probability sampling based on purposive sampling. The number of sample is 100 respondents. The analysis technique used SPSS 16.0. The results of the research showed that the quality of product influence the purchase decision at the amount 21.5%. Price affects the purchasing decision reach to 29.7%. Meanwhile, simultaneously product quality and price influence to purchase decision by donating 35,6%. Based on the calculation of Test F shows that there is a positive influence between product quality and price to purchasing decision. It is means the better the quality of products and consumer perception of prices, the higher purchasing decision Mustika Ratu face mask in Tembalang District Semarang City. In addition, the price has the most dominant influence with regression keofisien value of 0.715. Suggestion in this research is to improve product quality both in packaging, function and diversity of Mustika Ratu face mask product. Moreover in terms of the price, the suitability of the price with the quality and benefits of the product must also be upgraded and improved.

Abstract

Labor productivity is the ability to perform their activities to achieve the output with defined target, but often there are obstacle in fullfilling the target.  To achieve the target CV. Laksana must take into account many factors which influence the labor productivity.  This purpose of this study is to identify the effect of training, motivation, and work environment to labor productivity CV. Laksana Frame and Body Division. This type of research is explanatory research. The sample used is 118 respondents. The sampling techniques is probability sampling. The data collection techniques are questionnaire, observation and literature review. Data analysis techniques are, validation, realibility, correlation, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t and f test with IBM SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) program version 21.0. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that training, motiviation, and work environment affects labor productivity through testing simple linear regression produce regression value of 0.467, 0.402, and 0.479. The advice  proposed to the company are to improve the suitability of training materials to work needs, the accuracy of training methods, rewards of outstanding employees, workplace layouts, and workplace safety.
