Abstract

Samsung Electronics is the largest electronics device manufacturer in the world. The increase of competition in the smartphone market and the decline in sales and market share of Samsung smartphones makes Samsung have to make a better marketing strategy. Nowadays, company require to be able to produce products with good quality and prices so consumers will feel satisfied and will increase their loyalty. This research used explanatory research with data collection methods using a questionnaire. The sample in this study is 100 respondents of Samsung smartphone users in Semarang with a purposive sampling become sample collection technique. The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect on product quality and price on customer satisfaction, product quality and price on customer loyalty, positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction on customer loyalty. Based on the sobel test results, there was an influence between product quality on customer loyalty through consumer satisfaction with partial mediation, and the effect of price on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction occurs full mediation. The suggestion in this research is that companies can reach all levels of the economy without reducing the quality of the products offered.

Abstract

Increasing competition for e-money, one payment service that is growing rapidly is OVO, an online payment service providers based application. The amount of OVO users has been decreased although target achievement increased in its realization but in the percentage of changes there has been a sharp decline.  The type of research using explanatory research with data collecting technics by interview and data collection tools used offline and online questionnaires. The methods of this study is purposive sampling with a sample of 100 respondents. Data analysis technique in this study using validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t-test, and  F- test with SPSS 25.0. The result of research indicate that variable perceived ease of use is positive effect of decision to use OVO in Surakarta city. Variable Peceived security is positive effect of decision to use OVO in Surakarta city. Variable preceived ease of use and variable preceived security significantly is positive effect of decision to use OVO in Surakarta city. Based on the results of the study, the researcher suggested that Visionet data internasional company can assure its users of user data in OVO application that it has secured its confidentiality, so that users do not worry about excessive amounts, and supports OVO providing education for use using OVO interest in decisions using OVO.

Abstract

Eco-efficiency is a concept/strategy the delivery of competitive price of goods and services that satisfy human needs and bring the quality of life, while progressively reducing ecological impacts and resource intensity throughout the life-cycle, to a level at least in line with the earth’s estimated carrying capacity. Eco-efficiency actions include reduction of the material intensity of goods and services, reduction of the energy intensity of goods and services, reduction of toxic dispersion, enhancement of materials recyclability, maximum sustainable, use of renewable resources, extension of product durability, and maximum service intensity of products. The problem that occurs at Tapioca Flour SMEs UD Sinar Cerah is a huge NPO cost which is 78.5% of the total production cost. This study aims to determine the application of eco-efficiency in the Tapioca Flour SMEs UD Sinar Cerah, Margoyoso District, Pati Regency. This research uses a descriptive-analytical method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used include observation, oral interviews ,and literature study. Observations were made on the use of raw materials, water, and energy used in production. The analysis showed that in one year UD Sinar Cerah produced 3,354,780 kg of tapioca flour. The accumulated annual cost of NPO UD Sinar Cerah is Rp. 17,282,564,465.00. UD Sinar Cerah has the opportunity to implement eco-efficiency measures in the process of cutting poles, settling, and encircling to save NPO costs as much as 164,037,436.00 per year. The suggestion given to Tapioca Flour SMEs UD Sinar Cerah is to increase the accuracy and caution in the use of raw materials, energy, and water that has not been measured.

Abstract

One of the most important resources of a company is human resources. So that every company needs to think of ways to improve the performance of employees they have in order to drive the company's progress. One key to improving employee performance is by maintaining employee motivation and job satisfaction. This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation and job satisfaction on the performance of sewing department employees at PT. Krakatau II Estuary. The type of research used is explanatory research. The sampling technique of this study was proportional random sampling techniques 89. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire with a Likert measurement scale. Data analysis method used is regression analysis with the help of SPSS program version 25.0. The results of the study indicate that partially work motivation and job satisfaction affect employee performance positively and significantly with the regression coefficient values on work motivation variables (0.767) and job satisfaction (0.501) . Valuable t-value of work motivation (6,690) and job satisfaction (4,577). Then simultaneously the variables of work motivation and job satisfaction together affect the employee's performance positively and significantly with the multiple regression coefficient values of work motivation (0.663) and job satisfaction (0.144) with the calculated F-value (23.105). Suggestions given to PT. Muara Krakatau II is improving work motivation and job satisfaction due to work motivation and job satisfaction of the sewing department employees of PT. Muara Krakatau II tends to be still low. Improvements to work motivation are primarily related to the willingness of employees to produce products in accordance with predetermined targets and the willingness of employees to complete work faster than specified. While improvements to job satisfaction, namely the compensation provided and company management.

Abstract

The level of product sales / sales turnover can indicate purchasing decisions by consumers. Based on data from CV Champion, the sales turnover of Frisian Flag product sales in the Madiun area fluctuates and never reaches the target. Based on interview resut can be known if there is a problem of public perception of the quality of Frisian Flag products and the lack of promotional activities for Frisian Flag purefarm ready-to-drink milk causes the brand image of Frisian Flag purefarm ready-to-drink is not strong, resulting in the level of sales has not reached the target. This type of research is explanatory research. Sampling using techniques is incidental sampling of 100 respondents. This research uses the IBM SPSS version 16.0 assistance program and analysis for intervention intervention variables. Based on the results of research that shows a positive and significant promotion of brand image, product quality affects positively and significantly on brand image, positive and significant promotion of purchasing decisions, positive and significant product quality on purchasing decisions, positive and significant brand image on purchasing decisions, there is a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions through brand image, there is a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions through brand imageSuggestions are given in order to improve purchasing decisions with improvement efforts on promotional variables, product quality and brand image. In the aspect of promotion can increase the frequency of sales promotion, make ads more attractive so that messages can be more talked about by consumers and make consumers interested in buying products. In the aspect of product quality, the company can develop products to provide more nutrition, make packaging shapes more attractive, and provide more attractive and diverse packaging colors. In the aspect of brand image can give a message to consumers who are trying to make consumers loyal to the product.

Abstract

This study aims to examined the effects of e-service quality and price to customer loyalty through customer satisfaction. Based on a survey conducted by Iprice.com it can be seen that the number of visitors to the Berrybenka website in the past two years has decreased. In 2017 the number of visitors to the Berrybenka website was 3.115.000 visitors. However, the following year Berrybenka experienced a decrease in the number of website visitors by 1.51.,300 visitors. Therefore, the number of visitors to the Berrybenka website in 2018 will be 1.597.700 visitors. The population is consumers who have bought Berrybenka products, while the sample is 100 respondents with certain criteria carried out.The analysis used in this research is linear regression analysis using IBM SPSS 21.0 and mediation test (sobel test) to test the mediating effect of the intervening variable. The results of this study indicate that e-service quality and price have a partial and simultaneous effect on customer satisfaction, where when together price has the greatest influence on customer satisfaction.based on the Mediation test using the sobel test, the customer satisfaction variable can mediate the effect of e-service quality on customer loyalty insignificantly and can be said as a full mediated, as well as the variable customer satisfaction mediated the effect of price of customer loyalty significantly and can be said to be a partial mediating variable.

Abstract

Labor productivity is an important thing that must be considered and often used to measure the extent to which workers can reach the target set company. Labor productivity can be influenced by several factors among them are dual role conflicts and skills. PT Royal Korindah Purbalingga is an industrial company that develops with the production and export of false eyelashes. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the dual role conflict and skills against labor productivity on PT Royal Korindah Purbalingga. This research using a  quantitative approach. Sample  90  laborers several women who are married and have a  child using a probability sampling technique. Data collection use instruments in the questionnaire. Analysis research on the SPSS20.0 version. The result showed that the dual role conflict influences productivity with count -5,906 > t table 1,9873. Skills influences productivity  with  t  count  8,727 > t  table  1,9873. Simultaneously the dual role conflicts and skills influence productivity with an f count 53,998  & gt; f table 3,101 with the significance 0,000 >0,05. The suggestions for this research is to support the dual role of workers women and increase their skills by providing training. These two variables have some indicators that are not optimal to be able to increase productivity can be done by reducing dual role conflicts and increasing skills

Abstract

Along with outgrowth the times that demands compliance the needs and needs of service users for package delivery, PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) KantorPos Semarang needs to do a marketing strategy, namely by improving the quality services offered by the company, pricing according to the services offered by the company, and the corporate image which will make service users make service usage decision. This study aims to determine the effect of service quality, price, and corporate image on service usage decision of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) KantorPos Semarang. This type of research is explanatory. The sampling technique uses nonprobability sampling technique with the type of sampling used are incidental sampling and purposive sampling. The number of samples taken is 100 respondents who have made service usage decision of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) KantorPos Semarang. This research in testing using statistics with the help of IBM SPSS version 21.0 system. The results showed that service quality has a significant effect on service usage decision by contributing 42.9%, price has a significant effect on service usage decision by contributing 36.6%, and corporate image has a significant effect on service usage decision by contributing 47,4%. While the rest is influenced by other factors besides service quality, price, and corporate image. Based on the calculation of the F Test shows that service quality, price, and corporate image significant influence on service usage decision.

Abstract

The service industry sector, such as hospitality, is a fast growing business in Indonesia.These business opportunities lead to competition between hospitality services in providing the best services to attract and retain consumers. One of the hospitality services with a good rating is Star Hotel Semarang. As a company engaged in the service sector, it must prioritize good service to its customers at prices according to what has been provided by Star Hotel Semarang in order to create a purchasing decision.This study aims to determine the effect of service quality and price on decision to stay (studies on consumers Star Hotel Semarang). This type of research is explanatory research. The sampling techniques used are incidental sampling and purposive sampling. The number of samples taken is 100 respondents, who are consumers of Star Hotel Semarang. The research that is used to determine the effect of service quality and price on decision to stay will present statistics with the help of IBM SPSS version 21.0.

Abstract

Information and communication technology in the world especially the internet is experiencing quite rapid development. The internet provides many conveniences in communicating with many people in a short time. The existence of this phenomenon that many use to promote tourism. This research model examines the effect of electronic word of mouth and electronic service quality on the Instagram @exploresemarang account on the decision to visit through interest in visiting as a mediating variable. The population in this study as many as 100 respondents using purposive sampling and accidental sampling techniques, which means the sampling technique according to certain criteria. The measurement scale uses a Likert scale. Data analysis used regression test, correlation test, determination test, significance test, and single test with SPSS version 25. Based on the results of the study note that all hypotheses have a significant effect with p value <0.05. This means that the better electronic word of mouth and electronic service quality on the Instagram account @exploresemarang will form a visiting interest so as to convince consumers to decide to visit.
