Abstract

Woman political map election by election can only be guided through 30 % woman representative and must be applied with affirmative action. Since it thought that the policy only provide advantages to woman and not all the political parties have gender sensitivity Descriptive analysis is the method to analyse woman's vote mapping according to general election report in 1999, 2004, and 2009. One of theory applied to observe voter behaviour in mapping vote stated by Adman Nursaf refers to some Columbia and michigan tradition (psycological approach )and rational approach. Analysis report, most voted women who are success in gaining support and position in House of Representative have been increased compared to general election in 1999 and 2004. However, woman representation in House of Representative has not reached to 30% minimum quota yet. That is the reason why woman's qouta must be fighting for through legals. Considering the legal in quota domain is part of affirmative policy along with a hope, there is gonna be equality and balance between man and woman in House of Representative until it could be overcome

Abstract

The role of women in society nowadays is not just being a housewife, they participate to work because of the economic factors in their life. One of the sectors which likely to be chosen by people is the informal sector such as UKM. Many informal business have flexible working hours and give the workers a choice to choose their working time which suitable the capability of work. Dual role and flexible working hours can be a specific factors in case to increase productivity at work.  This research was conducted at UKM Konveksi Batik Semarang 16, aiming to describe and analysis of dual role and flexible working hours towards the productivity of women laborers. The method used in this research is a qualitative research. The type used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. This research is using accumulation with in depth interview with the research subject. This research shows that the dual role has not been always running well and balance. The productivity could be decrease because of the dual role has not been balance. The productivity shows good result of their quantity and quality production, but their fine timing often lack because of their performances. Flexible working hours can give a positive impact in their free time with their family but working hours like that could give an affect to their health due to exhaustion factor. Suggestions that can be given are 1) Women laborers must balance their dual role much better than before and try to divide up the house tasks with their husband 2) The owner can offer flexible working hours schedule to their workers 3) Women laborers should balance their dual role life especially when conflict happens and they must pay attention to their health.

Abstract

The tourism industry in a number of areas is increasing, its specialty in Yogyakarta Province. Goa Pindul attractions in Yogyakarta has a unique tourism potential with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites cave tubing rides. The number of tourist arrivals from 2010 to 2015 the number fluctuates. This study aims to determine the influence of the tourism product and service quality to the decision been through word of mouth on the electronic attractions Pindul Goa. This type of research is explanatory research, with data collection through questionnaires and interviews. The sampling technique uses accidental sampling method. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents who are visitor attractions Goa Pindul and obtain information via the Internet. The results showed that the Tourism Product and significant effect on the Electronic word of mouth. Service Quality and significant effect on the Electronic word of mouth. Electronic word of mouth influence and significant to the Decision of Been. Tourism products have the most influence dominan.Hasil is obtained by analyzing primary data using validity, reliability test, correlation coefficient, simple regression analysis, coefficient of determination, significance test (t test) in both directions. Based on this, the researchers suggest that managers Attractions Goa Pindul further enhance the tourism product and service quality, which is clear signpost the way to Goa Pindul, increase the comfort of attractions Goa Pindul, improve services to visitors, so as to increase tourist arrivals in the tourist attraction Goa Pindul.

Abstract

Padang restaurant is a restaurant business that sells and serves various culinary or minang Kabau dish originating from West Sumatra. Restaurant business Padang many newly been established both in the scale of micro, small, medium and large in Indonesia, especially in the Semarang city. Increasing number of business also will be increasing fierce competition. Business owners should have a strategy in the factor - factor of location, diversity of products, Quality of Service, and how consumer responses and reasons in making purchasing decisionsThe data were collected by using an overview of the field, observation, interviews, documents gathering, and literatures, and been analyzed by the case study method. The results showed that the location, product diversity, and quality of service that is owned by Padang restaurant in the city of Semarang has been good enough and strategic adjustable with theory and research that has been done before. In a purchase decision, consumers pay attention to all the factors of every Padang restaurant, and consumers prefer to loyal factor in the diversity of products owned by Padang restaurant. With a variety of advantages, it is recommended to small business of Padang restaurant owners in order to maintain the advantages, and make location improvements and make an innovation either for their products and the estabilished services.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh orientasi pasar, orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap keunggulan bersaing dan kinerja pemasaran pada warung kucingan (angkringan) di kota Semarang.Tipe penelitian yang digunakan adalah explanatory research. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 orang responden yang menjadi pemilik warung kucingan/angkringan yang diambil secara inccidental sampling. Pengumpulan datanya dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda, dimana X1 menunjuk pada variable orientasi pasar, X2 pada orientasi kewirausahaan, Y1 pada keunggulan bersaing, dan Y2 pada kinerja pemasaran.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa orientasi pasar dan orientasi kewirausahaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keunggulan bersaing dan kinerja pemasaran. Orientasi pasar dan orientasi kewirausahaan yang lebih baik akan meningkatkan keunggulan bersaing dan kinerja pemasaran. Keunggulan bersaing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pemasaran.

Abstract

The problem of this research is the increasing of customer complain on service shown by the employee and the result of observation indicate the decrease of work motivation. So that the research problem is how to increase work motivation at RM Soto Bangkong, Semarang. The work motivation at RM Soto Bangkong, Semarang is allegedly influenced by compensation and work relations. This research was conducted to find out the compensation and work relationships influence the work motivation of employees of RM Soto Bangkong, Semarang. In this study using census sampling techniques so that 53 employees of RM Soto Bangkong, Semarang can be taken. The data analysis used is regression. The results showed that compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee motivation RM Soto Bangkong, Semarang, working relationship has a positive and significant influence on employee work motivation RM Soto Bangkong, Semarang. The results also indicate that there is a positive and significant influence between compensation and working relationships together towards employee motivation RM Soto Bangkong, Semarang.

Abstract

The model of this research is testing the influence of product quality and advertising to purchase decisions Wardah brand cosmetics through brand image as an interveving variable. The population on this study were consumers of Wardah cosmetics on students collage faculty political and social science of Diponegoro University. The research sample of 98 respondens and the sampling technique used was propotional sampling.Measurement scala using a Likert scale. Data analysis used regression test, correlation test, determination test, significance test, path analysis, sobel test and mediation test with SPSS version 16 aplication. The results of this study note that the quality of the product significantly influences the brand image with the value of t arithmetic (6.905)> t table (1.985), it is proven that there is a significant influence of advertising with brand image with the value of t arithmetic (6.346)> t table (1.985), proved the influence Significant product quality with a purchase decision (5,967)> t table (1,985), evidenced by the significant influence of advertising with a purchasing decision with a value of t arithmetic (3.685)> t table (1,985), evidenced the influence of brand image with a purchase decision t arithmetic (5,951) )> t table (1,985), it is proven that there is a significant influence between product quality on purchasing decisions through brand image with a value of t arithmetic (2,930)> t table (1,985) and evidenced the influence of advertising on purchasing decisions through a brand image with a value of t arithmetic (3,663)> t table (1,985).

Abstract

Along with the development of the era, Indonesia became one of the countries also affected by globalization, where the Indonesian women workforce increased from year to year. One of them is at Panti Wilasa Citarum Hospital which has a female nurse greater than male nurse. Women working for double roles, and working hours and salary cooperation to fulfill their welfare.The purpose of this research is to know the influence of double role, working hours, and salary to the welfare of female nurses at Panti Wilasa Citarum Semarang Hospital. This type of research is explanatory research, with sampling technique, sample census where all population is made responder. And the sample is 122 resondents. This research technique is quantitative analysis, reliability test, simple and multiple regression test, which is test of determination, significance test (t test and f), classic aesthetic test. The results of this study indicate a strong relationship between multiple roles, work diving work and welfare salary in which the queen is 0.4686. The three independent variables have a positive relationship. This is proved by the result of double role regression 0.441, following working hours 0.355, and salary of 0.633. The value of F arithmetic (34,991)> from F table (2.13).Double roles, flexibility working hours and salaries simultaneously affect welfare positively and significantly. The effect is positive, the better the double role, the flexibility of working hours, and the salary will be better the welfare of female nurses, and vice versa. Based on the results of the study, the author of the Hospital theory to better support the welfare of women by raising salaries, giving sick child special leave and giving pension

Abstract

This study aims to determine the business strategy of SME (Small Medium Enterprise) Lunpia Kings business based on competitive position and business type by using Five Forces Porter Analysis and SWOT Analysis. The type of research used in this study is descriptive analytical. Determination of informants in this study using purposive sampling technique. The analytical technique used is to examine all data from various sources; data reduction; and SWOT analysis. Based on the results of tests conducted it can be concluded that based on the Five Forces Porter method business strategy that can be developed by SME Lunpia Kings is a cost leadership strategy, where SME Lunpia Kings are expected to reduce the production costs so as to reduce the selling prices. Based on the SWOT method, business development strategy SME Lunpia Kings is a market penetration strategy, whereby SME will penetrate the market to the middle economic community.

Abstract

Productivity’s driver is very important to be considered in order to achieve the goals of the company. Productivity can be influenced by several factors, including wage , job stress, and work motivation. Semesta Transportasi Limbah Indonesia,ltd is a company engaged in sector of land transport services which decreased productivity driver over in 2013-2015. The purpose of this research is to find influence wage, job stress, and work motivation on the productivity of a truck driver in the Semesta Transportasi Limbah Indonesia,ltd.. The research uses a quantitative approach. A population is 76 driver using saturation sampling. Data collection using the questionnaire. The analysis in this research using SPSS version 17.0.The results showed that the wage does not affect the productivity with the t value 1.309 < t table 1.9925. Job stress influence productivity with t score 3.490. Work motivation influence productivity with 2,967 t. however simultaneously wage levels, job stress and work motivation affects productivity with F count 7.421 > F table 2,73 with the significance 0.000 <0.005. Suggestions for companies to improve his attention on wage is considered less good, and to job stress and work motivation have several indicators that are less optimal that ultimately can increase work productivity’s truckers.
