Abstract

PO. Sumber Alam is one of the transportation service providers offering shuttle service. Like other PO Otobus Companies. PO. Sumber Alam is always trying to meet and satisfy the desires of its customers in the hope that customers can feel satisfied and loyal to continue to use the services of PO. Sumber Alam, but in fact according to the management of the number of passengers PO. Sumber Alam in the last 3 years continued to decline significantly, especially from 2015 to 2016, which amounted to 57,480 passengers. By looking at the existing problems, the purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction and its impact on customer loyalty PO Sumber Alam. Sampling technique used is nonprobability sampling that is purposive sampling. The sample of this study amounted to 100 customers of PO Sumber Alam Semarang-Cilacap department and the opposite direction. Respondents' answers will be processed using various tests of validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, simple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient and t test using SPSS program Statistical version for Social Science for Windows 16.00. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that service quality positively affects customer loyalty, service quality positively affects customer satisfaction, and customer satisfaction positively influences customer loyalty. The suggestion of this research is PO. Sumber Alam needs to make improvements or rejuvenation of the physical appearance of the fleet, adding to the completeness of the facilities at the shuttle location and providing guidance and training for employees, so that employees can provide better service to customers.

Abstract

This research is based on the growth of international and multinational markets which is potential to make the growth of foreign products entering Indonesia, especially in electronic gadgets such as a smartphone in particular. This phenomenon characterized by increasing number of users smartphone in the world from years 2013-2018. Smartphone samsung is currently a market leader in indonesia, but from years 2012-2015 the number of Samsung smartphone product sales in Semarang has decreased each year.The purpose of this research is to know the influence of country of origin and brand image against intention behavior through word of mouth as an intervening variable. This research type is explanatory research, with the techniques of datacollection through the questionnaire. Sampling techniques using a purposive sampling technique. The sample in this research are 100 respondents which is a Samsung smartphone use.This research using techniques of quantitative analysis. Quantitative analysis using the test validity, reliability tests, coefficient of correlation, simple regression analysis,the determination coefficient, significance tests (two directions), and analysis of sobel.The results of the research indicate that there is a positive influence of the variable country of origin and brand image against variables intention behavior and variable word of mouth. Based on the results of the analysis of sobel, known that there is a positive influence of the variable country of origin against intention behavior through word of mouth and there was also a positive influence on brand image against the intention of the variable behavior through word of mouth. Then the variable word of mouth can be said to be a partial mediation variables.

Abstract

Human resource is the most important factor in a creat the purpose of business administration. Grasia hotel confront high turnover. Many factors that affect them career development and job satisfaction.This study intend to determine the effect of career development towards job satisfaction, career development towards work motivation, job satisfaction towards work motivation, and career development towards job satisfaction through work motivation,In this study the population are official employee of Grasia Hotel Semarang which is 80 samples. The type of this research is explanatory research with quantitative approach. The analysis technique used are correlation test, determination test, simple regression test, signification test, sobel test, mediation test using SPSS version 16 application.The result of this research indicate that the career development has a significant effect towards job satisfaction, career development has significant effect towards work motivation, job satisfaction has effect towards work motivation, career development has effect towards job satisfaction through work motivation partial mediation. Each hypothesis test has a significant 0.00.Based on this, researchers suggest that additonal and maximizing the work motivation by increasing the frequency employee morale by giving bonuses and reward. In addition, holding job training with mentor guidance.

Abstract

Era of globalization becomes a challenge that must be faced by PT. Wings as a manufacturer of Mie Sedaap packaging bag, due to increasingly fierce competition and consumers have many diverse choices. Based on Top brand Index data, Mie Sedaap packaging bag obtained a value of 13.5% in 2013, then in 2014 increased to 14.4%, then in 2015 increased to 15.9%. But in 2016 the percentage decreased to 12.5%. From result of data analysis known that brand equity category equal to 74% stated enough. Promotion category is known as 52% states quite interesting. Variable brand equity effect on purchasing decision equal to 51,2%. Promotion variables affect the purchase decision by 19.2%. Brand equity and promotion variables affect the purchase decision by 51.2%. This means that the better the brand equity and promotion, it is expected to improve purchasing decisions. Era globalisasi menjadi tantangan yang harus dihadapi oleh PT. Wings sebagai produsen Mie Sedaap kemasan bag, karena persaingan yang semakin ketat dan konsumen memiliki banyak pilihan yang beragam. Berdasarkan data Top brand Index Mie Sedaap kemasan bag memperoleh nilai persentase sebesar 13,5% di tahun 2013, kemudian di tahun 2014 naik menjadi 14,4%, lalu di tahun 2015 naik menjadi 15,9%. Tapi di tahun 2016 persentasenya turun menjadi 12,5%. Dari hasil analisis data diketahui bahwa kategori brand equity sebesar 74% menyatakan cukup. Kategori promosi diketahui sebesar 52% menyatakan cukup menarik. Variabel brand equity berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian sebesar 51,2%. Variabel promosi berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian sebesar 19,2%. Variabel brand equity dan promosi berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian sebesar 51,2%. Hal ini berarti menunjukkan bahwa semakin baik brand equity dan promosi, maka diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keputusan pembelian.

Abstract

Laundry business is one type of SMEs in the growing home industry today. The demand for laundry business is increasing for workers / employees to students who have busy every day. Laundry service becomes one of the alternatives to save time in doing the job. The high level of demand for laundry services to be one of the drivers of the community to do laundry business. It creates competition, in terms of price or quality. To be able to maintain existence in achieving the purpose of a business unit, then. This study aims to discuss the factors that become strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and quality threats, analysis, and service quality which then determine the formulation of competing strategies that are relevant for laundry service company, especially SuperWash Laundry based on SWOT analysis. This research uses descriptive analysis, with data data technique through interview and observation. Sampling technique using purposive method. Respondents in this research are 15 (fifteen) respondents who are owners and customers of Superwash Laundry business, Semarang. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that SuperWash Laundry in Semarang City performs internal analysis, management, finance, production and development) with no business plan, financial arrangement, job giving, and passive promotion effort. Efforts to improve promotion, promotion, promotion, strategy, and energy. How to work safe. With uncomfortable conditions in the business room. Based on these things. Strategies that Superwash Laundry can apply in the face of competition in accordance with the existing circumstances intensive strategy especially market penetration strategy (market penetration). Abstract

Retail business in Indonesia is growing so rapidly. That matter, which requires the owners of retail outlets must have marketing strategies to survive in competition fairly tight retail businesses, so the company’s purpose which is increasing profits can be achieved. Retailer profits obtained can be sourced from impulse buying. Impulse buying can be influenced by discount and store atmosphere. Lottemart Wholesale Semarang as a modern retails in Semarang. In 2016, Lottemart Wholesale Semarang’s debit customer has been decreased, which decreased 3,99% or 15.935 customers. The decrease in debit customer discharge causes a decrease in the company's profit so that the planned targets can not be achieved.The purpose of this research is to know the influences between the variable discount and variabel store atmosphere against a impulse buying on customers Lottemart Wholesale Semarang. The type of research is explanatory research and the number of sample taken is 100 respondents. The sampling technique are accidental sampling and purposive sampling. The data analysis technique is a correlation test data analysis, determination test, simple linear regression test, multiple linear regression test, t test and F test using IBM SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) program version 16.0. Based on the analysis, it is concluded that discount and store atmosphere has an influence on from impulse buying, that has been proved through simple linear regression that result regression value, discount has an influence on impulse buying of 0.624 and store atmosphere has an influence on impulse buying of 0,350. Therefore it can be advised that Lottemart Wholesale Semarang should conduct a survey and monitor competitor prices to be more competitive. In addition, store atmosphere can be improved by manage display product, colors and lighting of the room, and improve air circulation of the room so consumers are more comfortable and happy when shopping in the store.
