Abstract

ABSTRACT Cluster phenomenon has attracted the attention of economist to get involved in the location matters study that create a new paradigm. Tumang is tourism village industrial district of metal craft in Boyolali Regency has a characteristic and dominated by small-scale industry. The purpose of this study is to analyze cluster pattern and analyze factors which influence the market orientation in industrial district of metal craft Tumang ,Cepogo, Boyolali Regency used 60 respondents. This study uses Cluster Analysis to analyze cluster pattern refers to the variable in the Markussen model (1996) and Logistic Regression Model is used in this study to analyze the important factors that distinguish export-oriented industries and domestic-oriented industries. The results of the identification of the proposed cluster patterns Markusen, it can be concluded that the pattern of industrial district of metal craft Tumang Cepogo Boyolali Regency follows the pattern of clusters Marshallian and the Hub and Spoke. The results of binary logistic regression model analysis there are four variables that significantly influence the export market orientation of the labor, age of business, the buyer network, and the active promotion.

Abstract

House is representing requirement of human being base besides food and clothing. There byincrease also society welfare, so from that is human need more various, and one of them needresidence that is house. On of house developers PT. Ajisaka that offered one of proper housingoccupies that is Puri Dinar Mas. However, the problems is decreasing demand of house in Puri MasDinar Resident. Therefore, the purpose of this research was to analyze the influence of factor prices,income, location and facilities to demand of housing on Puri Dinar Mas Resident.The analyzer for this research is using doubled linear regression analysis with program SPSSversion 16.0. Population that used is the Head of Family (KK) as consumers in the Puri Mas DinarResident. While sample that used as much as 100 person (KK) with Methods Random Sampling.Based on result of analysis indicate that price, income, location, and facilities have an effect on todemand of house in Puri Dinar Mas Resident. From the examination of coefficient of determinationhas known that 77,2% from variation of that happened in variable demand of house by togheter ininfluencing by variable price, income, location, and facilities. While the rest equal to 22,8%influenced by other factors. Based on the result of this research we got that facility factor very havingeffect on in demand of house in Puri Dinar Mas Resident. Seen from level of coefficient influencingdemand of house of facility equal to 0,249; location equal to 0,231; income equal to 0,195; and priceequal to 0,149.

Abstract

One of the problems that often occur in developing countries in implementing the country's development is how to maintain stability and economic growth. Economic stability in terms of stability regarding the price level, the level of national income and employment growth. The main objective of this study was to analyze the factors affecting inflation in Indonesia in 2000.1-2011.4 period. The variables used are: gross domestic product (GDP), the money supply in a broad sense (M2), interest rate, Bank Indonesia certificates (SBI), and the exchange rate of rupiah against the U.S. dollar. The data used in this study is time series data in the quarterly period from 2000.1 to 2011.4, using multiple linear regression with the method of Ordinary Least Square (OLS). The results of this analysis states that the variable gross domestic product and the SBI rate are positive and significant effect on inflation. While exchange rate are positive and not significant effect on inflation. In the other hand, the variables in the money supply (M2) is negative and significant effect on inflation in the quarter a year of research.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Job opportunity is one of indicators to assess economic development. However, the recruitment of worker still not able overcomes unemployment. The development of small industries will help overcoming unemployment because small industries used technology of labor intensive. Tegal occupied the first job seeker in Central Java with job seeker at 14,22% of the total labor. The highest business unit of small industries in Tegal is salted fish industry. The research uses multiple linear regression (Ordinary Least Square) to analyze the effect of wages, productivity, and working capital for recruitment of worker on salted fish industry in Tegal. The results showed the influence wages to the recruitment of worker obtained      t value at -0,717< t table 1,671, it’s indicate that the wages have negative effect on recruitment of worker. The result significance test at 0,476 ˃ 0,05 (α = 5%), it’s shows  that wages have no significant effect on the recruitment of worker. The results showed the influence productivity to the recruitment of worker obtained t value at -8,148 > t table 1,671, it’s indicate that the productivity have negative effect on recruitment of worker. The result significance test at 0,000 < 0,05 (α = 5%), it’s shows  that productivity have significant effect on the recruitment of worker. The results showed the influence working capital to the recruitment of worker obtained t value at 13,698 > t table 1,671, it’s indicate that the working capital have positive effect on recruitment of worker. The result significance test at 0,000 < 0,05 (α = 5%), it’s shows  that working capital have significant effect on the recruitment of worker. The simultaneous test result showed that F value 128,454 > F table 2,76 with significance at 0,000 < 0,05 (α = 5%), it’s mean that wages, productivity, and working capital have simultaneously significant effect on the recruitment of worker.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe about  traffic congestion on Prof. Soedarto street in Tembalang area, Semarang and to analyze an its policy. In 2010, happens moved University Diponegoro student from Pleburan to Tembalang area. It’s caused Tembalang area become crowded. This research used Analitical Hirarchy Process (AHP) method. The analysis applied against ten variable of traffic congestion policy that the result derived from interview and discussion with key informans. The result of this research that entire respondent chosen the policy proposal make the new road as solution to overcome the traffic congestion.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Indonesian land are potentially to be planted with sugarcane, especially in Java Island. It had proven that in 1928 three-fourth of total export in Java comes from sugar industry. Today, Java Island still potential to plant with sugarcane. It can be see that land of sugarcane is tend to increase till 277.630 ha in 2010. PT IGN Cepiring in Kendal District is a sugar mill that re-operate to reach “Swasembada Gula” program in Central Java. PT IGN Cepiring can receive sugarcane till 1.800 ton each day. PT IGN Cepiring interlaces relationship with sugarcane farmers around. The relationship is implemented in credit contract and mill contract. This research has purpose to describe costs, revenue, and returns of sugarcane farmer based on contract status at PT IGN Cepiring. Then, to analise are there any significant different between return of credit contract’s farmer and mill contract’s farner. Data that used is primary data which collected by interview with sugarcane farmer who has relationship with PT IGN Cepiring. The result shows that credit contract’s farmer has less total cost, and more revenue that mill contract’s farmer. Based on result of t-test that return of credit contract’s farmer has significant different with mill contract’s farmer (P-value 0,000 < 0,05).

Abstract

ABSTRACT This studies aims to analyze the factors which influence the hours of work for the female vegetable traders with The Market in Purwodadi City. The factors are including income, age, number of dependents, husband’s revenue, mileage to market; and finding out the contribution of female vegetable traders’ income to total household income. This studies was conducted in The Market of Purwodadi City, by drawing a sample of 82 from a population of 104. The sample was drawn by random sampling method. The analytical tool used in the study is multiple linier regression or Ordinary Least Square (OLS) with the hours of work female vegetable  traders into the dependent variable and five independent variables are income, age, number of dependents, husband’s revenue, mileage to market. The method of doing his study is interview with questioner (direct interview) The result of analysis showed that income, number of dependents and mileage to market influenced positively and significant to the hours of work. The age and the husband’s revenue showed that there was no significant and influenced negatively to hours of work. The total income of female vegetable traders was contributed to household income, and as a whole, the contribution of female vegetable traders to total household income was 44,01 percent.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Nowadays, a lot of married women was entered the labor market, this condition makes the married women has a big role in household economy and in development too. And many research was held to explore the potency of married women workers. This research is purposed to analyze the factors which can influence the labor supply of married women in Kabupaten Brebes. Data analytical in this research used Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method, with labor supply of married women in the dependent variable and the six independent variables are wage/ income married women, husband’s income, age, education, amount of toddler, and household expenditure. This research used primary data (interviewing and question sheets) to 100 respondents and secondary data. The results of this research shows the average of timework of married women is 261,28 hours in a week, and the dominant variable is amount of toddler. The t-test shows the variable wage/ income, husband’s income, amount of toddler and household expenditure is significantly affect to the labor supply of married women. And then, variable age and education is not significantly affect to the labor supply of  married women.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Economic growth is defined as an increase in the ability of an economy in producing goods and services. A high and sustainable growth is the main condition which indicates that economic development is running. Gross regional domestic product Kendal peaked at low enough with other districts in Central Java Province. This research aims to analyze the factors that can influence the growth of 19 subdistricts in Kendal, with the application of neo-classical growth model developed by Robert Sollow. Conduct analysis by Ordinary Least Square (OLS). Independent variable methods used namely : Agglomeration, Labor, Overcrowding, and the dependent variable is the economic growth. Research results showed the agglomeration with variable  coefficient of Prob-sig 0,0000 and less than 5%, then have a positive influence on economic growth and significant Kendal Regency. Labor variable with coeficients 0,800532 and 0,4431 have a prob-sig positive influences and not significant, the number of resident variable showed negative influence with coefficient -10,93938 and significant to economic growth with prob-sig 0,0000 less than 5%. Lastly, variable capital has a positive influence with coefficient 1,199081 and significant with prob. 0,0024

Abstract

Currency stability is an important issue to boost economic activity and create economic growth of a country. Trade between countries resulting in currency exchange rates between countries are reflected in the exchange rate. The importance of the role of exchange rates for both developed and developing countries, encourage efforts to keep the exchange rate of a country is in a relatively stable state. The stability of the currency exchange rate is also affected by the exchange rate system adopted by a country. The phenomenon that often occurred in connection with the exchange rate fluctuations in currency values ​​is uncertain. Changes in behavior Rupiah exchange rate against the U.S. dollar that occurred in Indonesia during the period 1997.3 to 2011.4 on the implementation of a free-floating exchange rate system (free floating exchange rate system) are affected by economic fundamentals and non-fundamental economic factors. The aim of this research is to analyze how and how much influence factor relative GDP, the relative JUB, the Interest Rate and the CPI relative to relative changes in the behavior of Rupiah exchange rate against the U.S. dollar. The results of the analysis including the variable M2, the interest rate and the CPI has a positive and significant impact on the exchange rate, GDP variables possess a negative and significant relationship to the exchange rate.
