Abstract

There are some factors that influence the choice of capital structure of company. Some research has been done to know many factors that influence capital structure of company, such as profitability, business risk, stability of sales, asset growth, company size, tax, etc. There are often different result about those factors that influence capital structure especially profitability, asset growth, company size, asset structure, and liquidity. In 2008-2010 while capital structure of manufactures companies is increase, some variables is decrease, for example profitability.In 2008-2009 activa structure of manufactures companies is decrease, while capital structure is increase. In 2009-2010 activa structure is increase, while capital structure is also increase. It is not suitable with the research of Christianti (2006), Frank and Ghoyal (2007), and Harris and Raviv (1991). The population of this research is go public manufactures companies at BEI consist of 108 registered manufactures companies in Indonesia Capital Market Directory and having complete financial report for 4 years since 2007-2010. The method of data analysis that used in this research is regression analysis model, by testing the classic assumptions first.Based on the research is known that ROE, company size, and liquidity influence the capital structure of manufactures company in BEI from 2008-2010. While asset growth variable and asset structure does not influence the capital structure.

Abstract

This research was based on the level of consumer satisfaction, with the absence of similar competitors why the level of consumer satisfaction can’t reach the standardized level. This phenomenom is based on the variables quality of service, price perception, and brand image. The purpose on this study was to analyze the influence of quality service, price perception and brand image on consumer satisfaction of Trans Jogja Bus in Yogyakarta city. And this study also aims to analyze the most dominant factors influence on consumer satisfaction of TransJogja Bus in Yogyakarta city.The sample in this study is 100 respondents of user Trans Jogja bus. Questionnaire instrument is used as data collectors, and the techniques used are non-probability sampling techniques with the approach of accidental sampling (sampling based on chance). Validity and reliability testing that qualify as instrument. Multiple linear regression analysis is used to determine the effect of variable quality service, price perception and brand image on the consumer satisfaction.            The quality of service variable has the most impact on consumer satisfaction, followed by price perception variable. While the brand image variable has lowest influence compared to other variables. Hypotesis testing using t-test showed that the three independent variables studied have influence on the consumer satisfaction. Then through the F test can be seen that these three variables simultaneously influencing consumer satisfaction.

Abstract

High employee turnover rate may result the organization not effective and eficient. Organization must minimalism turnover intention so organization will not miss the experience employee and no expense useless. This research aims to analyze the influence of job involvement and job satisfaction on turnover intention of employees. This research was conducted in PT. Njonja Meneer Semarang to the number of samples set 101 respondents. The method used is Purposive Sampling and method data anlysis is used multiple linear regression analysis, using SPSS program.The results of  testing hypotesis, shows that job involvement has negative and significant influence on turnover intention of emloyees and Job satisfaction has negative and significant influence one turnover intention of employees. The results of determination are 0,482 indicates that the capability of independent variabels (job involvement and job satisfaction) in explaining the dependent variable (turnover intention) is 48,2%.

Abstract

The performance is a result of the quality and quantity of work achieved by an officer in carrying out his duties in accordance with the responsibilities assigned. One of the causes of the declining performance of the employee is occupational safety and occupational health. This study aims to analyzed the effect of occupational safety and occupational health on employees performance at PT. Apac Inti Corpora Bawen Jawa Tengah Unit Spinning 2.Sampling in this research was using the method of random sampling by taking a sample as much as 81 respondents on PT. Apac Inti Corpora Unit Spinning 2 and using analyze regression method. Collecting primary data is done using the methods a questionnaire, while collecting secondary data done with a method of literature and the source of the internet.Based on the results of the calculation of regression analysis it can be concluded that the variable that have the greatest influence on the performance of the employee is Occupational health (X2) with the value of coefficient regression of 0,371, while the Occupational safety variable (X1) has a value of coefficient regression of 0,272.

Abstract

The background to the problem, that the various efforts made by the company are not offsetby increased sales. The results of the field survey showed that in the last three years of customerloyalty to the service delivery HIRA Cargo Semarang branch decreased. This study aims todetermine and describe the effect of service performance, reliability and customer satisfaction tocustomer loyalty in using freight forwarder Cargo Branch at Hira SemarangPopulation of the research are a HIRA Cargo consumers who are still actively using theHIRA freight Cargo Branch Semarang until October of 2012. Data collection is done usingquestionnaires. The analysis including validity and reliability, the assumption test, test hypothesesthrough F test and t test, coefficient of determination (R2). Data analyze techniques using linearregression analysis.Hypothesis testing using t test showed that the three independent variables studied wereservice performance (X1), trust (X2), and customer satisfaction (X3) have significantly affect to thedependent variable, customer loyalty (Y). Then through the F test showed that the variables serviceperformance, trust, and customer satisfaction have a significant effect in Customer loyalty.Adjusted R Square proving that the customer loyalty variables can be explained by three variablesservice performance, trust, and customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Mortgage loans  is one of the credit portfolio of banks that are experiencing increased lately. Improved constantly in channeling housing loan is feared will cause a variety of problems like the bubble property and nonperforming loans. This research purpose to examine influence of Loan to Deposite Ratio (LDR),  Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Return on Asset (ROA), BI Rate, and Inflation to Mortgage Loan distribution on the State Banks in Indonesia.  The population that was used in this research is all the State Bank in Indonesia. While the sample is LDR, CAR, ROA, BI Rate and inflation data on the State Bank during 60 months (year observations from 2008 to 2012). Sample taking technic used purposive sampling and analysis method that was used is multiple linear regression.Based on the results of testing using multiple linear regression analysis, it can be noted that the volume of mortgage loans  influenced by internal and external variable banking. It can be seen from the results of the partial test (t-test), determination of coefficients test, and the simultaneous significance tests (f-test). Based on the partial tests can noted that all independent variables namely LDR, CAR, ROA, the BI rate, and inflation has a positive and significant impact on the volume of mortgage loans. Based on the simultaneous significance tests together all the variables entered into the models of research have a significant influence on the dependent variable. While based on the determination of coefficients test, be aware that the independent variables the dependent variable can predict very well.

Abstract

The development of stock returns on the real estate and property industry in 2007-2010 fluctuated sharply. This study is conducted to examine the effect of the Debt to Total Asset ratio (DTA), Earning Per Share (EPS) and Trading Volume on the stock returns.Sampling method used in this study was purposive sampling method, which was based on certain criteria. Samples that match with the criteria of this research were 31 real estate and property companies on the Indonesian Stock Exchange in the period 2007-2010. The analysis used was multiple linear regressions, to see whether the independent variables influence the dependent variable.Based on the results of this study, there are no variables that deviate from the classical assumptions. It indicates that the available data has been qualified in order to use the multiple linear regression equation models. Based on the hypothesis test, variable of Debt to Total Asset Ratio (DTA) and the trading volume have partially influenced the effect on the stock returns of the property and real estate companies which are listed in the Indonesian Stock Exchange 2007-2010, while Earning Per Share(EPS) partially has no significant effecton the stock returns. This paper also shows that DTA is the most dominant factor in influencing the Stock Return, as proven by the regression coefficient value of 0.469, which larger compared to other variables. The predictive ability of these three variables on the stock returns are about 27.1%.

Abstract

Conventional commercial bank is vulnerable hit by Non Performing Loans (NPL) becausecredit as the main source of income comes from a conventional bank and the risk that might occurshould be handled without involving the customer. Although the bank’s management had madeefforts based on the credit rating of 5C+1C but still the banks potentially exposed tho tb he creditrisk. The purpose of this research was to know how big the influence of variable CAR, LDR, SIZE,KAP and BOPO, against Non Performing Loan (NPL) in a banking company that listed on BEI.The population in this research are 121 banks in Indonesia period 2008-2012. Thesampling technique used was purposive sampling on criteria: (1) conventional commercial bankslisted on BEI period 2008-2012, and (2) conventional commercial banks in their financial reportscontained the required data in the research period 2008-2012. The data is obtained from annualreport of each bank period 2008-2012. This sample gained amount of 23 banks from 121 bankspublic listed in Indonesia. Analytical techniques used was multiple linear regression andhypothesis test using t-statisctic to examine partial regression with level of significance 0,05.Before tested with a multiple linear regression test, testified with classical assumptions test first.The results showed that there were no deviations from the classical assumption. Thosethings indicate the data which avaible in this study has been qualified for use in linear regressionmodel. From the analysis shows that in partially CAR haven’t significant negative effect on NPLand LDR haven’t significant positive affect on NPL, while SIZE, KAP and BOPO have positivelyand significantly effect on NPL. The result of regression estimation show the ability of modelprediction is 35% while the remaining 65% influenced by other factors outside the model that hasnot been includeed in the study.

Abstract

Recruitmen process and placement of personnel in the Directorate of Central Java Police Drug Investigation Division, has not describe personnel needs, in determining which members of the Directorate of Central Java Police Narcotics Investigation Unit received only members provided by the bureau of human resources. Another phenomenon that occurs in Directorate of Central Java Police Drug Investigation Division are declining morale member in carrying out duties, which have an impact on performance. This study aims to identify and determine the role of leaders in improving the performance of organizations in the Directorate of Central Java Police Drug Investigation Division. Research questions were examined in this study were (1) How does the role of the leader in empowering existing members and placing members in accordance with their competence to fill the right positions? (2) How does a leader in efforts to motivate and inspire its members to improve performance? (3) What is the role of leadership in seeking alternative solutions to the barriers that exist in the performance of the Directorate of Central Java Police Narcotics Investigation?The research  uses qualitative research methods where data collection is done through depth interviews, observations, and documentation that are better able to explore the role of the leader in Drug Investigation Directorate. Validity of the data used is to implement member checking. This study took place at the Directorate of Central Java Police Narcotics Investigation and retrieve objects members and leaders who served in the Directorate of Central Java Police Drug Investigation Division.In this study revealed that the role of leaders in Drug Investigation Directorate in the Central Java Police empower existing members to the fullest. Leaders put members of the right to occupy a position tailored to vocational education has been followed. Drug Investigation Division in the Directorate itself, the Leader has the authority to determine who attend training or vocational education held by the bureau of human resources. In addition, the leaders also held Rakernis which aims to provide training to members on the subject of drug offenses and how to resolve the problem, and to motivate members to get the better performance provided. Leadership role to foster or strengthen motivation to members by giving awards if the performance of a given good and proud member of the institution. The award is given to members in the form of a promotion, or a chance to go to school anymore. Besides other forms of motivation in the form of attention and a real example to the members that can be used as an example in everyday life. In addition, members are given discretion in carrying out the task, as the leader of the task entrusted to members and assume that the member is able to do the job well. While in the process of decision-making and problem-solving, leadership involves its members in accordance with the issues involved, the level of confidentiality, duty and authority so that not all of them are involved in any decision making. Besides always received an opinion leader for the betterment and improvement of the performance of the Directorate of Central Java Police Drug Investigation Division.

Abstract

Bank is one of the financial institution which have activities to raise funds from the public inthe form of savings and channel them to the public in form of credit or other forms in order toimprove the living standard of the people. The purpose of the banking business to make a profitability.The bank profitability is one of the most important indicator in determining the success of a bank andcan be used as basis for policy and strategy of the banking system in the period to come. The mainpurpose of this research is to examine the influence of Equity to Total Assets Ratio (EAR), OperatingExpenses to Operating Income (ROA), Loan to Assets Ratio (LAR), Firm size, economic growth,inflation and the volatility of ROA on Return On Assets (ROA).The population of this research are commercial banks in Indonesia. The priority selection ofthe sample is by using purposive sampling method with the overall criteria of the monthly financialreports of the most commercial bankings in Indonesia during the observation period January 2003-February 2012 has been published by Bank Indonesia. Totality of the sample which has been used inthis study was 110 samples. In this study, the research method is by using descriptive analysis,stationarity test, classical assumption test (test for normality and autocorrelation test), analyticalmodels of the Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity in Mean (GARCH-M),hypothesis test (z-statistic test, F-statistics test, and coefficient of determination test (R2)).The results of this research found that Equity to Total Assets Ratio (EAR) have a positive andsignificant effect on Return on Assets (ROA), Operating Expenses to Operating Income (ROA) andLoan to Assets Ratio (LAR) have a negative and significant effect on Return On assets (ROA), Firmsize have a positive and significant effect on Return on Assets (ROA), economic growth and inflationhave regression coefficients were positive but insignificant ROA and volatility of ROA have anegative and significant effect on Return On asset (ROA).
