Abstract

In Indonesian instant noodle market is lucrative. Indonesian people's dependence on fast food noodle is quite large. In this case also sparked instant noodle companies to compete in order to gain market share by offering products that meet the needs of consumers, because of the competition, the Indomie sales decline. To increase sales, Indomie do product development by releasing new products that Indomie Rasa CabeIjo. This study aimed to analyze the influence of preferences and price on customer attitudes and customer loyalty products Indomie Rasa CabeIjo in Semarang         This research uses multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS. The population is the city of Semarang who like to eat Indomie taste green chillies. While the sample is used as many as 100 people with non-random sampling method is to take samples at several stores and a minimarket in Semarang.The results showed that the preferences and price positive and significant impact on customer attitudes and customer attitudes positive and significant effect on customer loyalty products Indomie Rasa Cabe Ijo in Semarang. In the model 1, giving preference to the most influence customer attitudes of 0.648. In model 2, giving preference to the most influence customer loyalty of  Indomie Rasa Cabe Ijo product in Semarang at 0.341.

Abstract

This research was triggered by theincreasment of competitionin the grocery retail business which is characterized by the emergence of many minimarket’s in recent years. Sari store’s customers have been decreased in just past four months, from January to April 2013. Besides, Sari store has several new competitors like Indomaret, Alfamart, etc. Effort to maintain customer loyalty is toimprove service quality. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of location, price perception and service quality towards customers loyalty in Sari store.The questionnaire data are collected from 75 respondents. Validation test, reliability test, classic assumption test (Normality test, Multicolinearity test, heteroskedasticity test), multiple linear regression analysis, and goodness of fit test (F test, t test, determination coefficient) will be used to analyze.From regression analysis, we know that location, price perseption, and service quality variable have the positive effect for customer’s loyalty at Sari store. The service quality variable is the most influential for customer’s loyalty. All of the three variable have 54.1% of customer’s loyalty, and the rest percentage is affected by the others variables.The results of this research indicate that the location have positive impact on customers loyalty. price perception impacting positively on customers loyalty. service quality have positive impact on customers loyalty.

Abstract

The research was conducted in PT.KAI Daop IV Semarang, the government-owned services company, formerly known as low standard employee performance. This is reflected in some indicator like ticket scalpers, either at the station Poncol and Tawang, lack of  service, ticketing is less representative, lack of employee commitment to serving customers, work culture is individualistic in office, lack of employment initiatives, train tardiness, rail safety and security as well as poor. Here are some of the obstacles encountered in the PT.KAI  employees to improve performance.This study aimed to determine the effect of transformational leadership and motivation on employee performance. The sample of this research is 82 respondents employees of PT. KAI DAOP IV Semarang. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression, t test, F test, and adjusted R².Based on the analysis concluded that transformational leadership and motivational variables may affect the performance of the variable employee at PT KAI Daop IV Semarang. Formed regression equation is: Y = 0.515X1 + 0.473 X2. Based on the analysis of data on 82 of the respondents, on the performance of employees in PT.KAI Daop IV Semarang, can be summed up as follows: Variable of transformational leadership can affect the performance of employees at PT KAI Daop IV Semarang. The better the implementation of transformational leadership results in improved employee performance. Motivational variables may affect the variable performance of employees at PT. KAI Daop IV Semarang. It is characterized by the presence of the positive effect of motivation on employee performance variables. The higher the motivation given to employees resulting in higher employee performance.

Abstract

Njonja Meneer company pointed out that the organization is already doingapplication coaching, training and development, empowerment and participation in theorganizational practices. But in applying coaching and empowerment of the variable isstill not carried out optimally. This is apparent from the results of the interviews alsoshowed that employees in the performance of Njonja Meneer company is still low. Thepurpose of this study was to analyze the influence of coaching, training and development,empowerment and participation on employee performance in PT. Njonja Meneer.The sample used in the study were sixty people. Data analysis method used ismultiple linear regression analysis using IBM SPSS 21. Sampling in this study based onterms the respondents established earlier that all employees and managers of high levelfrom all fields who have worked at least six months and have experienced the process oftraining development, and has been involved (participating) in decision making in NjonjaMeneer company.The results show that the coaching, training and development, empowerment andparticipation affect the performance of employees above fifty percent. From the results ofthe regression analysis training and development have the greatest influence on employeeperformance. That means training and development at Njonja Meneer company alreadydone well and have the most impact on employee performance than coaching,empowerment, and participation. While the smallest variable that affects employeeperformance is empowerment and coaching.

Abstract

Manufacturing firm is processing industry company go through raw material into a goods. There are phenomenon in 2009 which showed that variable cash ratio, Return On Assets, size increased but it is not followed by increase Dividend Payout Ratio.This research aims to analyze the effect mechanism of liquidity, profitability, growth, firm size and financial leverage against the dividend payout ratio at manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange (IDX) for the period 2008-2011. The mechanism of liquidity determined by variable cash ratio, the mechanism of profitability described by variable return on assets, while financial leverage in this research described by variable debt to equity ratio. The sample used in this study 29 companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange (IDX) for the period 2008-2011. Method of samples conducted by using purposive sampling. This research using multiple regression analysis including descriptive statistic test, classic assumptions test, and goodness of fit test. The result of this research showed that cash ratio had positive and not significant influence to dividend payout ratio, return on assets and size simultaneously had positive and significantly influence to dividend payout ratio, Growth was negative and not significant influence to Dividend Payout Ratio, meanwhile Debt to Equity Ratio had positive and significant influence to the Dividend Payout Ratio. Based on the coefficient of determination ( R2 ), having results of 0,224. It means independent variable influences the Cash Ratio, ROA, Growth, Size of the dependent variables, DER DPR can be described by this equation of 22,4%. While the rest of 77.6% is explained by other factors that are not included in the regression model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how big the influence of product quality, service quality, andlocation to consumer satisfaction on KOPIKITA. The problem that facing by KOPIKITA isconsumer’s satisfaction which decreasing, as seen from a lot of complain received from customer.And this research also aims to analyze the most dominant factors that influence on consumersatisfaction of KOPIKITA.Population of this research are consumers of KOPIKITA. Samples were taken of 100respondents by using non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling approach. Datawas collected by using a survery method through quetionnaires which were filled out byconsumers. Then, the obtained data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. Thisanalysis includes: validity test,reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple regression analysis,hypothesis testing through the t test and F test, and coefficient of determination analysis (R²).From the analysis result, the indicators in this study are valid and reliables. The mostdominant factor that influence on consumer satisfaction is product quality follow the servicequality, and the last is location. Then though the F Test can be seen that the independent variablesfeasible to test the dependent variable. The result of Adjusted R Square is 55%, it means thatindependent variable can explain about 45% of dependent variable.

Abstract

 Currently, the development of a fairly rapid rise in population as well as the various work activities everyone lets all activities must be done quickly. So that people can do the work quickly, it means supporting, such as means of transport. One of the means of transportation is a car. Between different types of cars, there is one kind of the most favorite consumers, namely Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV). When this kind of car MPV having the market share of the highest such as toyota innova, who ranks to 1. Nevertheless, in every year market share Toyota Kijang Innova tending to decline. It shows that also interested consumers to buy brand other than Toyota Kijang Innova. Many factors that could affect the decision this purchase products, like qualities , brand image prices and promotion The population in this research consumers who buy Toyota Innova in Semarang city whose number is unknown. The sample in this study were 96 respondents. Sampling techniques in this research was conducted with the Purposive Sampling technique. Its data type is primary. Method of data collection using the questionnaire. Analysis technique used is multiple regression.            The result of analysis shows that product quality, brand image, price, and promotion have positive and sienificant effect on buyine decision. Product quality of Toyota Kijang Innova is relatively grand according to the consumen.

Abstract

Small and medium industry have important role in developing manufacture industries in West Sumatra especially in food sector. Food processing industry in Padang, is potential industry to be developed. Product competitiveness is still lacking in small and medium food processing industry in Padang. The product  distribution is still difficult, this matter need to be considered for the company through the increasing performance. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of supply chain management toward company performance. The population in this research is small and medium industry in Padang city that operating in food processing in Padang. The sample that used is 100 small and medium industry from the entire population of 736 small and medium industry, that taken by simple random sampling and the collected data is using questionnaire. Technique analysis used  is multiple linear regression that operated by SPSS programe. Variable information sharing, long term relationship, cooperation and process integration have positive and significant influence toward supply chain management performance on company. Process integration has the biggest significant value, and then information sharing then long term relationship and cooperation. All hypothesis was accepted because the  significant value is lower than 0,05. The result of coefficient determinant is 0,318, it shows that the ability of independent variable in explaining dependent variable is 31,8%.

Abstract

Nokia mobile phone as one of the products in Indonesia at first to be a market leader mobile product. Increasing number of mobile products that appear in Indonesia makes the level of competition in mobile products is high, making the level of product sales decreased Nokia. The problem in this research are : advertising effect  to brand awareness Nokia mobile phone, the power of celebrity endorser effect to brand awareness Nokia mobile phone, brand awareness has effect brand attitude Nokia mobile phone           This research involves 100 college student as its respondent using accidental sampling method. Analyzes it with double-regression linear analysis (t-test and f-test) by SPSS software.           The result of regression test shows that advertising has no positive effect to brand awareness, the power of celebrity endorser has positive effect to brand awareness. Brand awareness has no positive effect to brand attitude. The result of F-test show that advertising, the power of celebrity endorser together has positive effect to brand awareness

Abstract

On-time Performance is a crucial factor in the airlines. PT. Sriwijaya Air as the object of this research, shows low On-time Performance on January 2012 until March 2013. It did not reached the company’s predetermined On-time Performance target. This research is intended to seek the root cause of low on-time performance so that Sriwijaya Air can focus on the major cause for conducting repairs.The methods used in this study consists of three quality tools; Control Chart, Pareto Chart, and Cause and Effect Diagram. The use of Control Chart is to see the problem occurring at a specific time. Afterwards, the use of Pareto Chart is to define the primary problems and focuses the attention towards the problems. Lastly, the use of Cause and Effect Diagram is to find the root causes from the primary problems.The result defined three main causes that cause delay on PT. Sriwijaya Air and those are; Flight Crew, Service, and Technical. The Cause and Effect Diagram found the root causes of the problem and the results shows that the problem is in the flight activity procedures. The three main problems are classified as an internal factor delay. Therefore some actions to remedy these delays need to be taken.
