Abstract

The economic crisis that occurred in quarter IV of 2008 until the quarter II 2009 which took place in the world including Indonesia handy, have resulted in a variety of global financial institutions suffered losses and bankruptcy. Bankruptcy that plagued banks-banks in Indonesia is affected by bank accepted deposits increased, while loans provided decreased, leading to increased interest on loans given to banks.Population research used are commercial banks listed on the IDX (Indonesia stock exchange) period 2006-2012. This study used the method of DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) and test different ANOVA.The results of hypothesis testing with different ANOVA test showed the presence of tidal differences in the efficiency of banking performance before and after the economic crisis. The results can provide advice to companies banking on anticipated at the time of the crisis, bank indonesia concerning the banking performance evaluation andimplementation of the industrial policy of banks, borrowers, investors, banks and stockholders about the banking efficiency information at the time of the crisis.

Abstract

Modern marketing is no longer making a profit achievement of the primary objectives to be achieved , but also how the company is able to instill a strong buying interest to prospective customers . Several attempts to create consumer buying interest is by using advertising as the ingredients and also using celebrity endorser to attract more attention of potential consumers in order to attract consumers and improve the quality of advertising . This study investigated the influence of advertising and celebrity endorser of the brand image increase interest in buying Adidas sneakers at Banyumanik Village , Semarang. The number of respondents consisted of 98 people . The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis , Sobel test , test validity and reliability , the classical assumption ,hypothesis testing and analysis of determination 𝑅2  . In this study, using primary and secondarydata . Independent variable is advertising and celebrity endorser , intervening variable is thebrand image and the dependent variable is buying interest. The results showed that the presence of a positive and significant effect of the variable advertising and celebrity endorser of the brand image and purchase interest and also brand image variables against buying interest . Varabel highest affect buying interest with the results of the regression coefficient value of 0.313 is advertising .

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to answer organizational commitment and job satisfaction influence on performance. The samples were employees of PT. SINAR SOSRO Semarang where the number of samples specified in this study of 81 respondents. As for the methods used in this sampling is to use Purposive sampling, while data analysis method used is linear regression analysis, with the aid of SPSS program.Results of testing of the hypothesis, suggesting that the variables: 1). Organizational commitment has no significant effect on performance, 2). Job satisfaction significant on employee performance. Coefficient of determination results indicate that the ability of small organizational commitment and job satisfaction variables in explaining employee performance variables is very limited.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the factors that influence the formation of brand awareness on social media case study on the twitter info Undip media or social media twitter @infoUNDIP . The problems of this research is the shift of the conventional media to digital media department also driven by cost more light on digital media so that more dpertimbangkan and taken into account . Independent variable in this research consists of Fascination Advertising Messages ( X1 ) , Perceived usefulness ( X2 ) , and brand image ( X3 ) and variable dependent is Brand Awareness ( Y ) .The sample of 100 respondents were taken using purposive sampling technique . Analysis using the SPSS 16.0 includes , reliability test , validity test , the classic assumption test , multiple regression analysis , hypothesis testing via the F test and t test , and analysis of the coefficient of determination ( R ² ) .Perception of usefulness showed the greatest regression coefficient . Perception of usefulness is the most important factor that affects the formation of brand awareness on social media twitter . The second important factor is the Fascination Book Brand Image Advertising later as the third factor that affects the formation of brand awareness on social media twitter . The coefficient of determination ( adjusted R2 ) of 0.449 , or 44.9 percent of the coefficient of determination means the model is good enough . All three independent variables in this study can explain 44.9 percent of the variable brand awareness . While the remaining 55.1 percent is explained by other variables outside of the three variables used in this study .

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influences of competence factors to employee performance of PT TASPEN (Persero) Semarang main branch. This research utilize independent variables, they are integrity, achieve orientation, concern for order, customer service orientation, interpersonal understanding combined to a dependent variable of employee performance. This research focuses on five mandatory competence owned by the whole employees of PT TASPEN (Persero) Semarang main branch. The fact that three of them shows a lower percentage. For those reasons, it is needed to know how much the mandatory competence influence owned by the employees performance.Research method used is that quantitative analyze, with validity and reliability tests, classical assumption test, double linear regression analyze collected through questioners spreading and implemented to the whole employees of 85 persons.Based on the done research in the past, it showed that all independent variables had positive and significant influences to the employees performance with the integrity variable influence to the employees performance reached 0,238; the achieve orientation variable influence to the employees performance reached 0,297; the concern for order variable influence to the employees performance reached 0,230; the customer service orientation variable influence to the employees performance reached 0,285; the interpersonal understanding variable influence to the employees performance reached 0,294.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasing level of customer complaints and followed by a declining number of subscriber in a row at E - Resto Semarang . This research effort undertaken to review the E - Resto to improve overall customer satisfaction using experiential marketing elements and become flagship restaurant in Semarang . The effort by E-Resto so far to improve customer satisfaction are unconditional guarantee for its  food  and  drink  and  efficient  complain  handling  by  taking  their  guest  comment positively. This study examines the elements of experiential marketing which consists of sense , feel , think, act and relate that affect customer satisfactionThrough the questionnaire method using techniques purposive sampling to 100 respondents who ever came and mergkonsumsi E - Resto Semarang products showed the regression equation as follows :Y = 0.202 X1 + 0.187 X2 + 0.199 X3 + 0.203 X4 + 0.188 X5Where all the independent variables have a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction.  Figures  Adjusted  R  Square  of  0.594  indicates  that  59.4  percent  of  the variation can be explained by the Customer Satisfaction to - five independent variables in the regression equation . While the remaining 40.6 percent is explained by other variables outside the five variables used in this study.

Abstract

The continued development of technology in today's age of globalization makes trade easier. From these circumstances lead to increasingly tight competition in the market.from these competition company makes to required to maintain the product quality to meet customer needs. To fill the ever-increasing needs of consumers, the company must determine the quality factor demanded by consumers beside from price, design or other.PT. Aster Decorindo Abadi is a company which operate in decorative tiles or ceramic design with the different types. In the production activity, the company is always trying to produce a good product and reduce high product defects to by setting a standards with 7% of total production. However, in the reality, defect levels fluctuate and sometimes exceeds the specified tolerance standards.Six Sigma is a quality target with a value is 3.4 DPMO (Defect per Million Oppurtunity) or 3.4 defects per million opportunities of. The existence of the achievement of six sigma is 3.4 DPMO it can be to achieve the reality of quality based on zero defect. Reduction on quantity of disability research using six sigma DMAIC with discussion (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). The aim of this study was to determine the achievement of sales targets without knowing the product is defective and flawed because it occurs by using the six sigma method.From the analysis result and research that has been done turns out the number of product defects in PT. Aster Decorindo Abadi in the 3.23 sigma level with DPMO values of 40 348. From that way it can be identified that the product quality was still far from the level of 6 sigma products (conversion). With using of a cause and effect diagram analysis can be known the factor cause of damage or defects to the product in production it comes from humans, machines, raw materials and work environment.

Abstract

Property industry drives economic activity by having a multiplier effect. On one hand the industry is pushing of economic activities in other sectors are related. On the other hand, excessive of property development industry can also have a negative impact for economy in case of oversupply and bubble pricing. Therefore in the lending activities bank must take security elements to minimize credit risk, such as Loss Given Default (LGD) or Severity of Loss.This research will analyze the factors that influence Loss Given Default (LGD) of loans mortgages in Indonesia during 2002-2013 using two models of research. LGD 1 models for Indonesian State Banks and LGD 2 models for sampled on BTN Bank Branch of Purwokerto.The results of this study indicate that there is no LGD on mortgages loans in both of the Indonesian state banks models or BTN Bank Branch of Purwokerto models. The property industry in Indonesia is unique among other countries as it offers a high return low risk investments. Property prices in Indonesia still stables despite high inflation and rising on interest rates. Based on the analysis, the Indonesian State Banks’s LGD influenced by House Price, Loan Amount, Growth BI Rate, and Growth GDP not significant. While at BTN Bank Branch of Purwokerto shows results that LTV, Unpaid Day, and Prime Lending Rate to be factors that influence the LGD.

Abstract

Work satisfaction and organizational commitment influence staff performance . The purpose  of  this  research  to  explain  how  the  variable  of  work  satisfaction  and organizational commitment influence to BNI KCU Undip Semarang staffs. In addition on it is use to recognize which variable influences dominantly to the performanceThe data of this research are obtained by giving the quistionare to the 32 BNI KCU Undip  Semarang  staffs  .  The  data  tes  tecnique  in  this  research  are  istrument  test  ( realibility test , validity test ), clasical asumption test ( normality test , heterosekdesitas test, linearity test , multilinear regression analysis , T-test , F-test , Coefisient of determination test using SPSS 20.0 aplication .The result shows that the work satisfaction and organizasional commitment influence positively and significantly to the staff performace, variables used in this research give positive responce , meaning the work satisfaction and organizational commitment improving the performance BNI KCU Undip Staff. Value of determination coefisien or R square  is  0,663,  which means  staff  performance  is  affected  by  staff satisfication  and organizational commitment as 66,3%.

Abstract

Cash is the most liquid assets company that serves as a blood company in the moving operating routine. Failure of firms in the face financial distress has focused attention on the importance of cash holdings. The purposes on this study was to identify relationship between cash holdings and leverage, diversified firms, dividend payment, investment opportunities, bank involvement and size, as well as the behavior cash holdings on big firms and small firms in the manufacturing industry.            This study uses secondary data with data derived from sources IDX and listed company on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2 years study period in the 2011 and 2012. Sampling used purposive sampling method with the provisions of the company’s financial reports published during the study period. This study uses two models with the data analysis using the classical assumption, multiple linier regression analysis, t test, F test, the coefficient of determination and Chow Test to distinguish the behavior on a sample of big firms and small firms.            The result showed that the sample of manufacturing firms found negative relationship between cash holdings and leverage. The positive relationship between cash holdings and diversified firms, investment opportunities, bank involvement, and size, but no relationship between capital expenditure, dividend payment and cash holdings. Finally, there is no differences in the behavior of cash holdings between big firms and small firms.
