Abstract

As time goes by, transportation becomes one of the main needs to support activity. The development of taxi services continues occur in various major cities, especially Semarang. This is indicated by the increasing company that doing those business. The purpose of this study is to know the influence of corporate image, service quality, and price perceptions on the repurchase intention of New Atlas Taxi Semarang, with customer satisfaction as intervening variable.Purposive sampling method is used for this research, samples were collected from 100 respondents (consumerwho has been using New Atlas Taksi service within the last 1 year). Multiple regression analysis is used for this study.The results show that company image, service quality, and price perception have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. Service quality has the highest influence on customer satisfaction. Then, company image, service quality, price perception, and customer satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention. Service quality has the highest influence on repurchase intention

Abstract

This research was motivated by the   problems that often occur about the work discipline of the employee in PDAM Tirta Moedal Semarang City. Various violations that often occur indicate that the lack of understanding and understanding about what is the discipline of their own work both in written and non-regulatory rules that exist in the company. The purpose of this study to analyze the influence of work environment, compensation and work motivation to work discipline PDAM Tirta Moedal employees Semarang City.This research used independent variables such as work environment, satifaction compensation, and work motivation, as well as the dependent variable is the work discipline. Populations used were all employees of PDAM Tirta Moedal Semarang City. The sampling technique used methode used Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling and obtained the sample of 71 people. Data  analysis  methods  used  are  quantitative  analysis  including  variable  index,  validity  and reliability, the classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, and the coefficient of determination (R2).Based on multiple linear regression test, the results indicate that the work environment have a positive relationship and a significant influence on the work discipline. Satifaction compensation have a positive relationship and a significant influence on the work discipline. And the last one, work motivation have a positive relationship and a significant influence on the work discipline. The coefficient of determination shows that the work discipline are influenced by work environment,  satifaction  compensation,  and  work  motivation  by  49,2% ,  while  the  remaining 50,8%are influenced by other variables in which the research did not examined in this study.

Abstract

Nowdays, make up is not only use for someone who attending a formal event or a party. A change of desire become a necessity is an opportunity for manufacturers of cosmetic industry to develop its business.  The  purpose  of  this research  is  to  know  the  impact  of  country  of  origin  , event sponsorship,  and  brand  awareness  toward  consumer purchase  decision  on  buying  cosmetic products.  The sample used for this research is consumen who site in Semarang that had minimum one-time purchase Mustika Ratu’s products and watch Ajang Pemilihan Puteri Indonesia. The analysis technique used for this research is structural equation models with 22,0 AMOS program. The result of this research indicate that country of origin (0,297) and event sponsorship (0,642) have a positive and significant impact toward brand awareness. Country of origin (0,159), event sponsorship (0,347) and brand awareness (0,323) have positive and significant impact toward purchase decision.

Abstract

Industry in Indonesia been growing well from year to year, including growth in the food and beverage industry. More businessman interested and join the food and beverage industry nowadays.  Many ways businessman  do to win the competition  in the industry or also known as competitive advantage. This research’s objectives are to test the influence of entrepreneurial orientation, product innovation, and partnership support against the competitive advantage of food and beverage industry in Semarang city.Taking a sample of 150 respondents  from businessman  in food and beverage industry in Semarang city using simple random sampling technique selecting respondents. The method of data analysis used is multiple regression analysis, where the analysis consist of validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, t test, and F test.The result of multiple regression analysis shows that product innovation variable (0.363)and partnership   support  (0.152)  variable  have  positive  and  significant   influence  to  competitive advantage,  while entrepreneurial  orientation  (0.087)has  positive but not significant  influence  to competitive advantage.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the main factors influencing dividend policy proxied by Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) especially in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) during period 2011-2015.             The population of this research consists of 141  manufacturing companies listed on the IDX in years 2011-2015. This research used secondary data and used purposive sampling method in determining the sample. The total sample in this study are 58 companies. Multiple regression is used as the analysis technique in this research.            The study documents the positive significant effect of firm size, profitability, growth opportunities, free cash flow, and insider ownership on dividend policy. Leverage is negatively significant associated with dividend policy, moreover liquidity found has no significant effect on dividend policy.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse then influence cash dividend announcemet to abnormal return, cumulative abnormal return, dan trading volume activity before and after cash dividend announcement. Period of research which used from 2013 – 2015.The research type is even study method. Research population used all company which listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Technique of choosing sample is used purposive sample and get 67 company from 234 even study cash dividend announcement. The data used in this research obtained from website KSEI, website BEI, Online Trading System of Mirae Asset Sekuritas. The determination of return is using market adjusted model. Analyze technique used parametic test which using to examine hyposthesis in this research is statictic descriptive, normality test, one sample t-test and paired sample t-test.The result of the research are : (1) Cash dividend anncouncement not affect to abnormal return, it means there is no significant difference in average abnormal return between before and after the announcement of cash dividend. (2) Dividend announcement is affect to cumulative abnormal return, it means there is a difference in average cumulative abnormal return that is significant between before and after the announcement of cash dividend. (3) Dividend announcement is not affect to trading volume activity, it means there is no significant difference in average abnormal return between before and after the announcement of cash dividend.

Abstract

Employee empowerment and career development are important factor in the company survival in order to achieve the goals of a company which is to increase productivity and produce the quality of human resource perfomance. The aim of this research is to test and analyze the influence of  empowerment to job satisfaction, the influence of career development on job satisfaction, the influence of empowerment to the employee performance, the influence of career development on employee performance, the influence of job satisfaction on employee performance, the influence of empowerment to the employee’s performance with job satisfaction as intervening variable and the influence career development on employee performance with job satisfaction as intervening variable.The population of this research are employees of PDAM Tirta Moedal Semarang City as many as 504 people. The target population of this study are permanent employees with a working period more than two years and undergraduate education (S1). So the sample of 122 respondents. The analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis method. The data testing technique used is the path analysis test, where the analysis includes:  validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, t test, F test, coefficient determination test and sobel test to the mediation effect. The results of analysis, this study result that empowerment and career development proved to have a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction. Then empowerment and career development have a positive and significant impact to the employee performance. While job satisfaction have a  positive and significant impact to the employee performance. Job satisfaction mediates the effect of empowerment with a small value to employee performance. In addition, job satisfaction mediates the effect  of career development with small value on employee performance.

Abstract

             Risk is a very important part in investment decision. Therefore, any factors that explain the risk dynamics need further research. There are 2 types of investment risk, systematic risk and non-systematic risk. Liquidity, leverage, operating efficiency, dividend payout ratio, profitability, and company size are financial variables that expected to be a determinants of systematic and non-systematic risks.             The objective of this research is to understand the relationship between liquidity, leverage, operating efficiency, dividend payout ratio, profitability, and company size with systematic and non-systematic risks in Indonesia capital markets. This research was done by observing non-finance companies indexed in LQ45 2016 between 2012 to 2016 (5 years).             The result shows that liquidity has a  negative and significant effect towards systematic and non-systematic risks. Profitability carries negative and significant effect towards systematic risk, operating efficiency and company size carries negative and significant effect towards non-systematic risk.

Abstract

In a tight business competition, supply chain management (SCM) plays a significant role in supporting business performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of supply chain management on business performance. Three dimensions of SCM: relationship with customers, relationship with suppliers, and human capital were investigated in this study.Population of this study is traditional snack and soft drink wholesalers in Kabupaten Banyumas. As many as 125 respondents, who have been in the business for at least one year, were selected as a sample. Data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) and processed applying AMOS 22 as an analytical tool.Findings of the study shows that relationship with costumers as well as with suppliers and human capital have positive and significant effects on competitive advantage. Likewise, competitive advantage was found to have a positive and significant effect on business performance.This study reveals that traditional snack and soft drink wholesalers in Kabupaten Banyumas might improve their business performance by applying supply chain management.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of organizational culture, transformational leadership style and job satisfaction towards organizational commitment at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Witel Semarang.The sampling method used on this research is proportional random sampling. Samples were collected from 70 respondents who are employees at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Witel Semarang. Analysis method used here is multiple regression analysis which includes validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression test and hypothesis test.The result showed that organizational culture, transformational leadership style had no effect on organizational commitment. While job satisfaction is the only variable that has significant influence on organizational commitment.
