Abstract

Abstract This research is motivated by the low percentage of daily assessment of plant tissue structure and function material of 37.8%. The daily assessment problem that has been tested to students has never been analysis, therefore researchers aim to describe the quality of the problem, improve the problem and obtain better quality questions in the daily assessment made by teachers of plant tissue structure and function materials at SMAN 20 Surabaya school year 2020/2021. This research is descriptive research with qualitative and quantitative methods. Data collection techniques are carried out through interview techniques, studies, and tests using the instrument sheet daily assessment made by teachers 25 multiple choice questions and 4 essays, problem improvement sheets, latticework made by teachers, and student answer sheets. The subjects of this study were 30 students from grade XI IPA 3 SMAN 20 Surabaya.The results showed the reliability value of the teacher's problem was 0.64, the difficulty level showed 2 difficult questions (8%), 9 medium questions (35%), 7 easy questions (28%) and 7 very easy questions (28%). the differentiating index shows 8 very good questions (32%), 6 good questions (24%), 4 questions are enough (16%) ; distractors show 3 very good questions (12%), 2 good questions (8%), 6 questions are enough (24%), 5 questions are bad (20%), and 9 questions are very bad (36%). Daily assessment questions of function material and plant tissue structure made by teachers can be concluded to have low reliability, low difficulty level, good difference index, and bad distractor. Improvement item can be concluded to have high reliability, medium difficulty level, highly good difference index, highly good distractor. Keywords: Study of item question , Daily assessment, Plant tissue structure and function Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya persentase penilaian harian struktur jaringan tanaman dan fungsi bahan sebesar 37,8%. Soal asesmen sehari-hari yang diujikan kepada siswa belum pernah dianalisis, oleh karena itu peneliti bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kualitas soal, memperbaiki masalah dan mendapatkan soal yang lebih berkualitas dalam asesmen harian yang dilakukan oleh guru materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan di SMAN. 20 Surabaya tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik wawancara, pembelajaran, dan tes dengan menggunakan instrumen lembar penilaian harian yang dibuat guru sebanyak 25 soal pilihan ganda dan 4 karangan, lembar perbaikan masalah, kisi-kisi yang dibuat oleh guru, dan lembar jawaban siswa. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 30 siswa kelas XI IPA 3 SMAN 20 Surabaya, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai reliabilitas soal guru sebesar 0,64, tingkat kesulitan menunjukkan 2 soal sulit (8%), 9 soal sedang (35%), 7 pertanyaan mudah (28%) dan 7 pertanyaan sangat mudah (28%). indeks pembeda menunjukkan 8 pertanyaan sangat baik (32%), 6 pertanyaan baik (24%), 4 pertanyaan cukup (16%); distraktor menunjukkan 3 pertanyaan sangat baik (12%), 2 pertanyaan baik (8%), 6 pertanyaan cukup (24%), 5 pertanyaan buruk (20%), dan 9 pertanyaan sangat buruk (36%). Soal penilaian harian materi fungsi dan struktur jaringan tanaman yang dibuat oleh guru dapat disimpulkan memiliki reliabilitas rendah, tingkat kesulitan rendah, indeks selisih baik, dan distraktor buruk. Item perbaikan dapat disimpulkan memiliki reliabilitas tinggi, tingkat kesulitan sedang, indeks selisih sangat baik, distraktor sangat baik. Abstract

Abstract Lack of conceptual comprehension can lead students to form a wrong concept. Students’ conceptual comprehension that is different from the actual concept is called a misconception. Biological topic that is prone to misconception is cell bioprocess because the topic is abstract and complete. This research aims to describe the profile of students’ misconceptions using the three-tier diagnostic test, to describe the factors that cause misconceptions, and to offer solutions that overcome students’ misconceptions in cell bioprocess topic. The data collection methods were carried out by providing a three-tier diagnostic test through google form and interviewing through google meet and social media. The research subjects were 60 students of the 11th grade MIPA in SMA Negeri 1 Kamal. The data of diagnostic test were processed and grouped according to the category of students’ conceptual comprehension, besides the interviews data were analyzed by generalizations based on interviews’ answers. The results showed that 76% misconception occurred in cell bioprocess with 79.40% misconception in membrane transport, 74.30% misconception in protein synthesis, and 71.80% misconception in cell reproduction. Factors that cause misconceptions are students' low mastery of the concepts, the use of complicated terms and incomplete information in textbooks, also the lack of interaction between teachers and students. Students’ misconceptions can be reduced through the application of interactive models or media that assist in constructing conceptual comprehension correctly. Further studies of the development and implementation of digital-based learning media in cell bioprocess topic including membrane transport, cell reproduction, and protein synthesis sub-topic should be done near the future to reduce students’ misconceptions. Abstract

Pada masa Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) secara online diperlukan bahan ajar elektronik yang dapat memfasilitasi dalam pembelajaran biologi sekaligus melatihkan keterampilan proses sains terintegrasi untuk memaksimalkan pembelajaran online. Salah satu metode yang menuntun dalam proses penemuan untuk memfasilitasi ketrampilan proses sains terintegrasi yaitu Guided Discovery (GD). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangan bahan ajar untuk menghasilkan e-LKPD berbasis guided discovery untuk melatih keterampilan proses sains terintegrasi pada materi fotosintesis yang layak berdasarkan validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Penelitian ini mengunakan pengembangan model 4-D yakni Define, Design, Develop, tanpa Disseminate. Data penelitian yang didapatkan dari pengembangan e-LKPD ini berasal dari hasil telaah, validasi oleh para ahli, data hasil observasi keterlaksanaan oleh observer, dan data hasil pretest dan posttest serta data respon peserta didik. Kriteria penilaian untuk validitas dinyatakan valid apabila persentasenya ≥ 61%, sedangkan penilaian kepraktisan dinyatakan praktis apabila persentase observasi keterlaksanaan mencapai ≥ 51% dan dikategorikan efektif berdasarkan ketuntasan indikator keterampilan proses sains terintegrasi apabila peserta didik mendapat skor tes ≥ 75. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa e-LKPD yang dikembangkan mendapat persentase validitas sebesar 98,05% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil kepraktisan mendapatkan persentase sebesar 84,77% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Hasil keefektifan mendapatkan beberapa hasil diantaranya ketuntasan tes keterampilan proses sains terintegrasi sebesar 92%, ketercapaian indikator keterampilan proses sains terintegrasi sebesar 89,3%, dan respon positif peserta didik terhadap e-LKPD yang dikembangkan sebesar 96,8%. Dengan begitu, e-LKPD yang dihasilkan berdasarkan aspek validitas, kepraktisan dan keefektifan dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Abstract

Conception is a person's understanding of something being observed. Cell material is prone to misconceptions owing to the fact that the material is unable to be sensed, moreover there are many sub-concepts that need to be fully apprehended. This research aims to describe the high school students conception profile on the cell material in Tuban Regency using the Three-Tier Test method, to describe the differences in the conception of high school students on cell material in Tuban Regency, and to describe the differences in the conception profile of students by school area. This is a descriptive-quantitative research using Three-Tier Test instrument. Data collection was carried out online via google form and interviews via google meet. 60 high school students of class XI in Tuban Regency were involved as the target of the research. The results showed that the conception profile of high school students on cell material in Tuban Regency mastered the concept of 53.21%, did not master the concept of 14.01% and misconceptions 32.78%. The highest of school that did not mastering concept was High School 1 Bancar at 31.30% and the highest misconception was High School 3 Tuban at 36.48%. Students experienced the highest misconception on the endocytosis concept, which was 63.33%. The cause of misconceptions is from student itself, worksheet book, and the teacher’s explanation. Abstract

The Student worksheet is one of the teaching materials that are useful for supporting learning activities in the form of observation, research, and experiments aimed at solving problems that are related to living things and the environment. This research is development research using the ADDIE method (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The product developed is an electronic Student Activity Sheet. The purpose of this study was to develop electronic student worksheet teaching materials, describe the validity of electronic student worksheets, and test their practicality using student and teacher response questionnaires. The validity of the electronic student worksheet is reviewed from the results of the validation which were assessed by the material expert lecturers and education experts. Practicality is viewed from the response of the teacher as a practitioner and 11 students of 2nd-grade at Al Azhar senior high school Menganti Gresik. Data analysis techniques were carried out using quantitative description methods. The results of the study show that the electronic student worksheet is declared valid with a score percentage of 96.6% in the very valid category. an electronic student worksheet is also stated to be very practical given the teacher's response of 100% and students of 98.5%. thus electronic student worksheet with an environmental approach to the material structure and function of plant tissue to train students' critical thinking is declared valid and practical for teaching and learning activities. Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan LKPD Berbasis Learning Cycle 7E (Elicit, Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, Evaluate, dan Extend) yang digunakan untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses yang valid dan praktis. LKPD adalah media pendukung untuk memudahkan kegiatan pembelajaran yang memuat penjelasan, pertanyaan, petunjuk dan panduan dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pengamatan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Diseminate), tanpa tahap disseminate. Validitas LKPD diperoleh dari hasil validasi ahli yaitu ahli pendidikan dan ahli materi. Kepraktisan LKPD juga ditinjau dari satu respon guru sebagai praktisi dan respon dari sepuluh peserta didik kelas X SMAN 1 Waru berupa pengisian lembar respon. Teknik analisis data dilaksanakan secara deskripsi kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validitas LKPD diketahui skor rata-rata dari setiap komponen meliputi isi sebesar 3,5%, penyajian sebesar 3,75%, bahasa sebesar 3,6%, kesesuaian model Learning Cycle 7E sebesar 3,57% dan kesesuaian dengan keterampilan proses sebesar 3,64% sehingga LKPD dinyatakan kategori sangat valid dengan memperoleh persentase rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 3,62%. LKPD juga menunjukkan kategori sangat praktis dengan memperoleh persentase rata-rata jawaban positif dari respon guru dan respon peserta didik secara berurutan dari setiap aspek meliputi penyajian sebesar 100% dan 95%, isi sebesar 100% dan 85,71%, bahasa sebesar 100% dan 100%, kesesuaian Learning Cycle 7E dengan keterampilan proses sebesar 100% dan 98,57% sehingga rata-rata persentase keseluruhan jawaban positif sebesar 100% dan 94,82%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis Learning Cycle 7E materi fungi untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses dinyatakan valid dan praktis untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Abstract

Misconception is a concept that is incompatible with scientific understanding or with experts in the field. If misconceptions are not immediately resolved, they will continue to be stored in the students' memory, it will have a negative impact on concept acceptance and understanding of the next material because concepts in biology are interrelated. Photosynthetic sub-material is one of the materials in Biology where misconceptions are often found. This concept is a complex and abstract so that students have difficulty to understanding it. The purpose of this research is to describe the profile of students' misconceptions in the photosynthesis submission by using four-tier diagnostic test. This research is a descriptive evaluative research, was make four-tier diagnostic test instrument that is validated by two expert, testing questions, analyzing the results of the research by using category tables and criteria for the level of misconceptions, and make a conclusions. The subjects in this study were 60 students of class XII who had received photosynthesis material. The data obtained were analyzed using a table of students' conception criteria based on four-tier test. The results showed that the profile of students' misconceptions consisted of students who experienced misconceptions which was 45.5%, students who understood the concept was 28%, and students who did not understand the concepts was 26.5%. The criteria for the level of misconception among students were high misconception was 46.7%, moderate misconception was 29.8%, and low misconception was 23.5%. Abstract

One of the obstacles that occur in the learning process is a misconception, inappropriate understanding of concepts. The misconceptions experienced by each student in one class can be different from one another and are caused by various causes. This study aims to describe the profile of misconceptions experienced by students and the causes of misconceptions in students. This research is descriptive quantitative. The research stage began with the making of a diagnostic test instrument (Four-Tier diagnostic test) which was then validated by a material and education expert. Then, the instrument was tested on grade XII student to collect the data. The data were analyzed descriptively. The target of this research was students of MAN 2 Gresik with a total of 60 students. The results showed the profile of students' misconceptions on Genetic Substance material consisting of the concepts of RNA, DNA, chromosomes, DNA & chromosome gene relationships, protein synthesis, and DNA replication with the category of understanding the concept amounted to 6.1%, 39.9% understand some concepts, 41.8% students experience misconceptions, and 12.2% do not understand concepts. The factors that cause misconceptions consist of students, textbooks, learning media, and teaching methods. Further studies of the development and implementation of digital-based learning media on genetic substance material, should be done near the future to reduce student misconceptions. Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis diperlukan untuk menghadapi tantangan di abad ke-21.Oleh karena itu perlu dilatihkan kepada peserta didik. Keterampilan Berpikir kritis memiliki enam aspek yakni interpretasi, analisis, inferensi, evaluasi, eksplanasi, regulasi diri. Sesuai dengan tuntutan Kurikulum 2013 berbasis Saintifik maka jika dipadukan akan memberikan hasil yang baik karena pada dasarnya ada korelasi. Keterampilan ini harus dimiliki oleh peserta didik ketika memecahkan permasalahan dalam materi Ekosistem. Untuk mempermudahnya maka perlu dikembangkan media berupa Elektronik Lembar Kegiatan Peserta Didik (E LKPD). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan E-LKPD yang layak berdasarkan hasil validasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model 4-D, yaitu pendefinisian, desain, dan pengembangan tanpa diseminasi. Parameter yang diukur meliputi komponen kelayakan penyajian, komponen isi, komponen bahasa. Validasi dilakukan oleh ahli pendidikan, ahli materi dan guru biologi. Teknis analisis data secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Bedasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa E-LKPD yang telah dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran berdasarkan hasil validasi dengan skor 3,62 kriteria sangat valid. Abstract

Pendidikan abad 21 memiliki tuntutan bahwa peserta didik diharapkan dapat menguasai keterampilan 4C (critical thinking, collaborative, creativity, communication) sebagai indikator pembelajaran yang dapat dicapai melalui pengembangan lembar kerja peserta didik elektronik (e-LKPD) berbasis literasi sains yang memuat kompetensi literasi sains dan diintegrasikan dengan indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Materi biologi yang berpotensi sebagai pembelajaran berbasis literasi sains karena sangat berkaitan dengan kehidupan nyata yaitu pertumbuhan dan perkembangan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menghasilkan e-LKPD berbasis literasi sains yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Pengembangan e-LKPD menggunakan model 4D (define, design, development, disseminate) tanpa tahap disseminate. Validitas e-LKPD diperoleh dari hasil validasi pakar, kepraktisan e-LKPD diperoleh dari hasil pengamatan keterlaksanaan e-LKPD, keefektifan e-LKPD diperoleh dari hasil belajar dan respon peserta didik. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Uji coba e-LKPD secara terbatas pada 20 peserta didik kelas XII MIPA 1 SMAN 1 Tarik Sidoarjo. Metode pengumpulan data meliputi metode validasi, observasi, tes, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validasi e-LKPD yang dikembangkan memperoleh rerata persentase 98,38% (sangat valid), kepraktisan e-LKPD memperoleh rerata persentase 97,65% (sangat praktis), keefektifan e-LKPD diperoleh dari ketuntasan hasil belajar kognitif sebesar 100% (sangat baik), rerata persentase hasil belajar indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis sebesar 90% (sangat baik), respon peserta didik memperoleh rerata persentase 94% (efektif). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, maka e-LKPD berbasis literasi sains untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang dikembangkan telah dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk diterapkan pada proses pembelajaran.
