Abstract

The purpose of this study are to develop electronic textbooks (e-books), describing the expediency study based on theoretical and empirical content, language and presentation, and to know the students' response to electronic textbooks (e-book). The research has been tested development is limited to 15 high school students Giki 2 Surabaya. Stages of the research is to formulate learning objectives, analyzing and learning activities, developing instructional materials, evaluation and study by 3 lecturers of biology UNESA and 2 high school biology teacher Giki 2 Surabaya, revised, tested, and revised again. The research instrument used for the study sheet lecturer and teacher and student questionnaire sheet. The results stated that the e-book on the material structure and function of plant tissue fit for use as a medium of learning according to the review of expediency criteria that combine several criteria of BSNP and the advantange of e-books. The overall results of the expediency study of the e-book shows the average value of the media presentation format, the format of the expediency of the content, and the format of language components between lecturers and teachers is 92,4%. Abstract

Appropriate with constructivist principles, a child learn if they actively construct knowledge in their brain. One way to implement in the classroom is a way to package learning materials in the form of worksheets. The purpose of the research is to develop a constructivist-based worksheets to practice science process skills that feasiable theoretically and empirically. Types of research, namely the development of a customized worksheets with 4-D development procedures. The research instrument used in the form of sheet validation worksheets and student activity sheets. Data were analyzed by descriptive quantitative. The results showed that, LKS has developed theoretically feasible and get a percentage of 97.47% with a very decent criteria. Percentage of students meeting Activity 1 and 2 get a percentage of 82.4% and 87.5%. Keywords: constructivist-based worksheets, science process skills

Abstract

The aims of this research are improvement of an interactive e-Book biotechnology. This research use Research and Development (R & D) method and tested to fifteen 3rd grade students of Madrasah Aliyah Bahauddin. Profile e-book interactive biotechnology assessed of competent lecturers.The results showed that the profile of an interactive e-Book that assessed the feasibility of some aspects of included material, presentation, and language respectively by 100%.

Abstract

Structure and function of organ tissues of plant sub subject that can not be explained by lectures and reading books. So, be needed the worksheet that can to help students in order to active role in learning. One of the ways is developing worksheet based discovery learning. The developing aims to know the advisability of the worksheet in empiris and teoritis, to know the legibility of the worksheet, to describe result of student learning after used worksheet, to know students activity during used worksheet, and to describe student response which had developed. This study is development research. Target of research is the worksheet based discovery learning in structure and function of organ tissues of plant sub subject that is tested to sixteen students in senior high school 1 Dander. Based on the result of research, obtained some following result: 1) The advisability of the worksheet is very good and advisable to used, 2) The result of student learning is 87,5% complete in cognitive competence and 74,30% complete in aim learning, 3) The legibility of the worksheet is very advisable, and 4) students give positive responses to worksheet is developed. Abstract

The objective of this research is: 1) Describe the feasibility learning in the application of PBI learning model with the theme water pollution for seventh class students of 9 Junior high school Surabaya. 2) Describe student learning outcomes in the affective and cognitive domain to application of PBI learning model with the theme water pollution, 3) Describe students responses to application of PBI learning model with the theme water pollution. This research is quasi-research type with one shot case study method. The research applicated in 9 junior high school Surabaya, research objective is VII-G class with 38 students. The data was analyzed descriptively, and show that: 1) the feasibility learning in the application of PBI learning model with the theme water pollution for seventh class students of 9 Junior high school Surabaya performing well, 2) the completeness of student learning outcomes based on minimal criteria for completeness with pencentage of 90% and the completeness of objective learning with percentage of 95%. The student learning outcomes in affective domain categorized as good and very good, 3) 85% of students gives positive responses to application of PBI learning model. Abstract

Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan merupakan suatu inovasi pendidikan yang mengarah pada peningkatan efisiensi, efektifitas layanan dan pengembangan pendidikan. Salah satu bentuk inovasi yang mengarah pada efisiensi dan efektifitas yaitu pengembangan model implementasi kurikulum, yaitu pembelajaran terpadu. Pembelajaran terpadu merupakan salah satu model implementasi kurikulum KTSP yang dianjurkan untuk diaplikasikan pada semua jenjang pendidikan. Pembelajaran ini pada hakikatnya merupakan suatu pendekatan pembelajaran yang memungkinkan peserta didik baik secara individual maupun kelompok aktif mencari, menggali, dan menemukan konsep serta prinsip secara holistik, bermakna, dan otentik. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dilakukan penelitian pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran IPA terpadu pada materi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan kelas VIII SMP. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA terpadu, mendeskripsikan kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran ditinjau dari aspek isi, bahasa dan konstruksi serta mendeskripsikan respon siswa terhadap keterbacaan buku siswa oleh siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan, yaitu mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA Terpadu dengan model keterpaduan connected pada materi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan. Kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran ini dinilai dari telaah perangkat oleh guru bidang studi dan dosen ahli meliputi telaah buku siswa, LKS, dan tes evaluasi serta respon siswa terhadap buku siswa. Hasil telaah perangkat pembelajaran dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Adapun hasil penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA terpadu, menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA terpadu (Buku siswa, LKS, dan lembar penilaian) ditinjau dari aspek isi, bahasa dan konstruksi yang ditelaah oleh dosen dan guru yang dinyatakan bahwa pengembangan perangkat telah layak digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas dan hasil respon siswa terhadap buku siswa oleh siswa menyatakan bahwa buku siswa layak untuk diterapkan. Abstract

One of learning components which is developed to support improvement of student’s quality is a handbook. A handbook as a means of communication should be developed better so that there is an interaction between students and the book. This research aims were to produce an interactive handbook on the sub material of human muscular tissue and to describe the theoretical feasibility of interactive handbook based on expert’s evaluation. This research was conducted using Kemp model. The result showed that the developed interactive handbook was very worthy with validation value about 91.61%. Abstract

LKS is used in SMP PGRI 29 Surabaya on material digestive system has never been done using practical activities and worksheets that CTL oriented.This research aims to: Analyze the results of feasibility worksheets developed CTL, to describe the students' response to LKS CTL developed. The design of this research is using the device according Kemp.The worksheet is evaluated from the results of the feasibility study, feasibility worksheets and student response. Based on the research, the result is obtained by: The results of the feasibility study worksheets at 87,33% with very decent category, Response 95.55% of students with criteria very well. Abstract

There were no inquiry-based student worksheet of plant nutrition concept in VIIIth grade in Junior High School PGRI 29 Surabaya. Therefore, the aim of this research was 1) to develope the inquiry-based student worksheet, 2) to describe the validity of student-worksheet, 3) to describe the empirical validity based on student responses. The research design during the development used was 4-D model without the dessiminate phase. Based on the data showed that the developed student workesheet were 1) valid to be used by the score of 89% in the very valid category, 2) student responses in the score of 89,53% (very good category). Abstract

Animation interactive media can explain an abstract concept to more real. This research aimed to produce biogeochemical cycle animation interactive media which is fesiable theoretically. Feasibility theoretically got from a results of media validity by biology lecturers and teachers. The validation media aspects are graph quality, animation quality, program quality, physical quality, present quality, matter quality, and illustration quality. This development research used ASSURE model which consist of six phases. The validation media result percentage was 85,26% and got very feasible category that implementation feasible in the learning.
