Abstract

Hubungan Keterampilan Metakognitif dan Berpikir Kritis terhadap Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa SMA pada Pembelajaran Biologi dengan Strategi Reciprocal Teaching Abstract: The aim of this research was to investigate the relationship between metacognitive and critical thinking skill toward student cognitive achievement in biology learning used reciprocal teaching strategy. The participant were 31 science class students of public senior high school of Lawang and 32 science class students of PGRI school Lawang. The data obtained from this research was pretes and postest score of student’s metacognitive skill, critical thinking and cognitive achievement. The data then analized by multiple regression analysis. The result of this research showed that there was correlation between between meracognitive and critical thinking skill toward student cognitive achievement in biology learning used reciprocal teaching strategy.Key Words: metacognitive skill, critical thinking, cognitive achievement, reciprocal teaching strategy Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap hubungan antara keterampilan metakognitif dan berpikir kritis terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa SMA dalam pembelajaran Biologi yang dibelajarkan dengan strategi reciprocal teaching. Penelitian ini melibatkan 31 siswa kelas XI IPA dari SMAN 1 Lawang dan 32 siswa kelas XI IPA dari SMA PGRI Lawang Kabupaten Malang. Data yang diambil dalam penelitian adalah data pretes dan postes keterampilan metakognitif, berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar beserta selisihnya. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan ada hubungan antara keterampilan metakognitif dan berpikir kritis terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa dalam strategi reciprocal teaching. Abstract

Pembelajaran STAD dan TSTS Bermedia Ice Cream Stick pada Operasi Hitung Bilangan Bulat Abstract: The study aims at describing to describe the implementation of the STAD and TSTS learning models using the Ice Cream Stick as the learning media to increase students’ motivation and learning outcomes. The study is conducted using a Classroom Action Research design. The subjects of the study were all 30 students of Class VC of Public Elementary School (SDN) Tunjungsekar 1 Malang. The methods of data collected from observation, interview, tests, and documentation. The study was conducted in two Cycles. The results showed that at the end of the learning motivation measures included in the criteria of high motivation. The learning outcomes show 80% mastery completeness.Key Words: STAD and TSTS learning models, ice cream stick learning media, mathematical operation on whole numbers Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan pembelajaran STAD dan TSTS bermedia Ice Cream Stick untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggu-nakan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas VC SDN Tunjungsekar 1 Malang yang berjumlah 30 orang siswa. Metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes. Penelitian dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada akhir tindakan motivasi belajar termasuk dalam kriteria motivasi tinggi. Hasil belajar mencapai ketuntasan 80%. Abstract

Metode Bermain Berbantuan Media Manipulatif untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar Siswa SD Abstract: The present study is which aims at describing the implementation of playing method with the use of manipulative media in learning addition which can increase the learning motivation and outcome.The study applied classroom action research consisting of two cycles and was carried out in Class II A of Public Elementary School (SDN) Blimbing 3, Malang, East Java Province. In cycle I, the students were invited to play “Nilai Huruf”, while in cycle II they played “ Acak Bilangan “. The process of doing and calculating the results of addition were done by employing media-assisted of  stick ice cream and plastic glass. The findings show that the strategy wich can increase the students’ learning motivation and outcome was conducted with step (1) forming a play group, (2) explain the steps of activities, (3) provide a task/challenge with worksheets and media group play, (4) complete the task, (5) present work, (6) discussion of the work .The instructional process was carried out very well and student-centered learning was applied, meaning that the students are involved in the learning process, feel more excited, more actively participate, easily understand the lessons, and feel much appreciated. Key Words: playing method, manipulative media, learning motivation, learning outcome Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan metode bermain berbantuan media manipulatif dalam pembelajaran penjumlahan yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dua siklus, dengan latar kelas II A SDN Blimbing 3 Malang. Tindakan pada siklus I bermain “Nilai Huruf” dan siklus II bermain  “Acak bilangan”, yang berbantuan media manipulatif berupa stick ice cream dan gelas plastik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode bermain berbantuan media manipulatif yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa dilakukan dengan langkah (1) membentuk kelompok bermain, (2) menjelaskan langkah kegiatan, (3) memberikan tugas/tantangan dengan lembar kerja kelompok dan media bermain, (4) menyelesaikan tugas, (5) mempresentasikan hasil kerja, (6) pembahasan hasil kerja. Kegiatan dapat dilakukan dengan sangat baik, terpusat pada siswa. Siswa dapat terlibat langsung, menjadi bersemangat, lebih aktif dan mudah memahami materi, serta merasa dihargai dan senang. Motivasi belajar siswa meningkat sangat tinggi dan hasil belajar juga meningkat.Kata kunci: metode bermain, media manipulatif, motivasi belajar, hasil belajar

Abstract

Pengembangan Model Penilaian Formatif Berbasis Web untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Fisika Siswa Abstract: There are two approaches of learning assessment, called formative and summative. The formative assessment is applicable because it involves students directly during the process, may im-prove these students perceptive. The limited time in class makes this process difficult, then the de-velopment of both online and offline formative assessment, provide responsive feedback for teachers and students, is definitely needed. This research goal is to produce a model of web-based formative assessment for physics. This study used research design and development of the formative assess-ment-model. Questionnaire is used for product validation, consist of validation of textbook,  instrument of pre and post-learning quizzes and web product.The result of quantitative analysis shows that the developed product is valid without any revision. Based on qualitative data, the product revision follows comments and suggestions from expert’s validation, teachers and students. The product testing shows that the formative assessment-model may improve students’ conceptual comprehension. Key Words: formatice assessment-model, students’ conceptual comprehension of physics, web-based Abstrak: Penilaian terbagi menjadi dua macam yaitu penilaian formatif dan penilaian sumatif. Penilaian formatif tepat digunakan karena prosesnya melibatkan siswa secara langsung di dalam proses pembelajaran dan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa. Keterbatasan waktu di kelas menyebabkan proses ini sulit dilakukan, maka perlu dikembangkan model penilaian formatif secara online dan off-line yang dapat memberikan umpan balik yang cepat bagi siswa dan guru. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah menghasilkan model web-based penilaian formatif untuk pembelajaran fisika. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan penelitian dan pengembangan model penilaian formatif. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket untuk uji kelayakan produk yang meliputi validasi naskah buku, instrumen kuis prapembelajaran, instrumen kuis pascapembelajaran dan web produk. Hasil analisis data kuantitatif adalah produk yang dihasilkan termasuk dalam kategori layak sehingga tidak memerlukan revisi. Berdasarkan data kualitatif, produk telah direvisi berdasarkan komentar dan saran validator, guru dan siswa. Hasil uji coba produk menunjukkan model penilaian formatif web-based dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa. Kata kunci: model penilaian formatif, pemahaman konsep fisika siswa, berbasis web

Abstract

Kesiapan Kerja Ditinjau dari Motivasi Kerja, Sikap Kewirausahaan, dan Kompetensi Keahlian Busana Wanita pada Siswa SMKN Abstract: The study has a purpose to measure the occupational readiness of Public Vocational High School students in Bali Province. The result reveals the following findings. (1) The descriptive analysis shows that the occupational readiness has mean good category. The occupational motivation has mean good category. The entrepreneurship attitude has mean fair category. The expertise competence of female dress has mean good category. (2) Work motivation, entrepreneurial attitude, competence of women’s fashion expertise can explain job readiness. (3) The partial correlational analysis shows the significant correlation between independent variables and dependent variables. The recapitulation from three independent variables shows that the highest partial correlational coefficient is found in the correlation between occupational motivation and occupational readiness, and then followed by the correlation between the expertise competence of female dress and occupational readiness and correlation between entrepreneurship attitude and occupational readiness of students Key Words: work readiness, motivation, attitudes, competencies, vocational school Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kesiapan kerja pada siswa SMKN di Provinsi Bali. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa: (1) analisis deskriptif menunjukkan kesiapan kerja dengan kategori baik, motivasi kerja dengan kategori baik, sikap kewirausahaan dengan kategori cukup baik, kompetensi keahlian busana wanita dengan kategori baik, (2) motivasi kerja, sikap kewirausahaan, dan kompetensi keahlian busana wanita mampu menjelaskan kesiapan kerja, (3) analisis korelasi parsial menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel bebas dengan variabel terikat. Rekapitulasi ketiga variabel bebas menunjukkan koefisien korelasi parsial terbesar ada pada hubungan motivasi kerja dengan kesipan kerja, kemudian kompetensi keahlian busana wanita dengan kesiapan kerja, dan sikap kewirausahaan dengan kesiapan kerja siswa.Kata kunci: kesiapan kerja, motivasi, sikap, kompetensi, SMKN

Abstract

Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Cooperative Script dan Think-Pair-Share terhadap Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis, Sikap Sosial, dan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Biologi Siswa SMA Multietnis Abstract: Biological learning process with multiethnic students requires a learning models which allow students to work independently, to work together in small groups, and to share with other groups. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning models, ethnicity, and the interaction of learning model and ethnic on critical thinking skills, social attitudes, and cognitive achievement. This quasi experimental study was conducted in 11th grade of Natural Science Class Highschool students with six ethnicaly and Junior Highschool National score groups consisted of 132 samples. The results of Covarian Analysis showed that the learning models significantly affected the social attitudes and increased the critical thinking skills and cognitive achievement. Ethnicity significantly affected the social attitudes and cognitive achievement. Interaction of learning models and ethnicity significantly affected students social attitudes. Key Words: cooperative script, think-pair-share, critical thinking skills, social attitudes, biology cognitive achievement, multiethnic studentsAbstrak: Pengelolaan proses pembelajaran biologi pada siswa multietnis memerlukan model pembelajaran yang memungkinkan siswa bekerja mandiri, bekerja sama dalam kelompok kecil, dan berbagi dengan kelompok lain. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran, etnis, serta interaksi model pembelajaran dan etnis terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis, sikap sosial, dan hasil belajar kognitif biologi siswa. Penelitian eksperimen semu ini dilakukan di kelas XI IPA SMA dengan sampel sebanyak 132 orang siswa terbagi dalam enam kelas yang homogen berdasarkan etnis dan nilai ujian nasional SMP siswa. Hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan Analisis Kovarian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap sikap sosial dan meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan hasil belajar kognitif; etnik secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap sikap sosial, dan meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif biologi; interaksi model pembelajaran dan etnik berpengaruh terhadap sikap sosial.
