Perkembangan sektor pariwisata berawal dari dikenalnya suatu destinasi wisata termasuk aspek perencanaan, penataan, pengelolaan dan dampak yang ditimbulkannya sehingga menjadi kajian menarik para pemerhati pariwisata. Hasil dari kajian-kajian tersebut memerlukan media ilmiah untuk diketahui khalayak sebagai publikasi ilmiah, termasuk merupakan ”branded” yang menunjukkan kuantitas dan kualitas suatu perguruan tinggi. Melalui jurnal Destinasi Pariwisata, hasil penelitian, survei dan tulisan ilmiah populer kepariwisataan dipublikasikan sebagai salah satu upaya memberikan sumbangan dari dunia akademis kepada sektor pariwisata.

Abstract

The study aims to the growing tourism sector in Yogyakarta, Beringharjo Traditional Market does not want to be outdone to become a shopping tourist destination for tourists who come to Yogyakarta. With the many modern markets, the Beringharjo Traditional Market still exists among tourists. This study aims to find out how the existence of the Beringharjo Traditional Market according to the perceptions of traders and tourists and the manager's role. This study uses primary and secondary data sources. The type of data used is qualitative and quantitative data. Methods of collecting data through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. Determination of informants in this study using purposive sampling technique. The data analysis used is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that the existing conditions are described by the 4A concept in the form of attractions include shopping and culinary tours, accesibility includes The Transjogja public transportation, the aminities include parking area, market radios, videotrone market areas, market security voices, loading and unloading facilities, clean toilets, trash cans, escalators connecting upstairs, prayer rooms, health clinics, relaxing lactation facilities, electronic retribution systems, cooperative services and banking, and child care, ancillary at Beringharjo Traditional market managed by the Industry and trade officetourist arrivals in the Beringharjo Traditional Market are increasing from year to year so that the income earned by traders is also increasing. Abstract

The study aims to desribe the implication of tourism villages development in Jodipan, Malang East Java. A slum village that turned into a tourist village and eventually attracted many visitors to come to visit. Foreign and domestic tourists flock to the village. The arrival of this large number of tourists has implications for the village, especially on environmental aspects.The research method used qualitative approaches with qualitative techniques to collecting data. Qualitative descriptive analysis is used to presents data in this article. The results obtained that the development of Jodipan Tourism Village is currently at the stage of involvement where the community starts to participate. This development stage has implications for the environmental conditions. The physical environment there can be seen from the slum condition of the village which is now clean. Then, biologically, people start to become aware of maintaining cleanliness and health. And finally socially the community began to participate slowly. Abstract

Various tourist destinations based culture can be found in Bali. One of them is Manuaba villages in Tegalalang Gianyar Regenc. Manuaba is one of the villages which have already started to be influenced by tourism. The majority of the livelihoods of Indigenous Village Manuaba was agriculture. Along with the influx of tourism there is a change in the way the community point of view, investors are starting to get in and the farmers start to sell their land to the investors. Most of the investors build an acomodation on the agricultural land.This research used qualitative methods with of observation techniques, interview techniques and the study of documents. Sample techniques used purposive sampling for determinate informants. Based of the research results that the public began to feel the impact of the changes of the land function. Communities creating a perarem to limit the new building in the agricultural land. There are some suggestions that are proposed to the Government the more sensitive areas to monitor the development of the tourism in Bali. Abstract

Sumedang Regency at West Java Indonesia has a lot of tourism potential. One of them is the potential for ecotourism in the Mount Tampomas natural tourism park. Mount Tampomas Nature Park is a tourist area in Sumedang Regency that has not been developed optimally. Mount Tampomas Nature Park has the potential for natural beauty, biotic potential, potential for springs and potential for hot springs. In developing the tourism potential, it will have an impact on the economic, tourism, cultural, social education and conservation sectors for the lives of the surrounding community. So that the potential development of Mount Tampomas needs to be developed properly because it has a major effect on increasing tourism branding in Sumedang Regency. This study is to determine the development and management of the tourist destination branding of Mount Tampomas Nature Tourism Park as an ecotourism area. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method, with data collection techniques literature studies. This descriptive research method is used to find an overview of the branding activities of the Mount Tampomas Nature Tourism Park, by knowing tourist satisfaction and support from the local community for the progress of ecotourism development in the Mount Tampomas natural tourism park. So the researchers used the SWOT analysis technique to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors in the development of ecotourism in the Mount Tampomas natural tourism park.Keywords: Branding, Tourism, Destinations

Abstract

The Tourism Sector was chosen as the primemover of economic development in East Nusa Tenggara Province. One of the problems encountered in tourism development efforts in East Nusa Tenggara Province is related to the low participation of local communities. This study aims to (1) Explain the form and the level of participation of local communities and (2) Explain the obstacles / barriers faced by local communities in the development of tourism in the six priority development locations of the NTT provincial government in 2019. The type of this research is qualitative research. The data collection techniques used are in-depth interviews, observations, and library studies. Determination of the informants in this study is using snowball sampling. The results of the study indicate that the forms of local community participation consist from participation in activities directly related to tourism activities and participation in activities not directly related to tourism activities. Meanwhile, in terms of the level of participation, based on the concept of ladder of participation, the level of participation of local people in the six locations of this study is on the second ladder namely tokenism where local people are given the opportunity, invited to participate in the tourism sector but on the other hand they are not equipped with the ability adequate in the form of knowledge and skills as well as adequate infrastructure. As for the obstacles faced by local communities in participating in the tourism sector are (1) Lack of knowledge and skills to manage the potential of their resources; (2) There is no holistic, integrative and thematic and sustainable training concept, (3) Does not yet have a tourism activist in the village and a role model / pilot project location that has succeeded in developing the tourism sector as an example, (4) Apathy towards the program programs related to tourism development, (5) unfavorable infrastructure conditions, and (6) Lack of cooperation between local governments, non-governmental organizations engaged in the tourism sector and local communities.Keywords: participation, ladder of participation, community-based tourism

Abstract

West Manggarai Regency is one of the super priority tourism destinations development program from Central Government Republic of Indonesia. West Manggarai Regency is part of the East Nusa Tenggara Province with tourism potential namely natural, beach and cultural potential. Tourism development of tourism in West Manggarai provides positive expectations for the welfare of the local community. The existing condition of West Manggarai shows that tourism policy has not brought changes to the economic value of West Manggarai Regency. The purpose of this study is to align policy plans with the implementation of tourism development policies in West Manggrai Regency. This type of research is qualitative research, data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Determination of informants in this study using a purposive sampling technique. Analysis of the data used is qualitative descriptive. The results of the analysis of tourism development policies in West Manggarai, are inseparable from the four tourism pillars contained in the regional tourism development master plan (RIPPARDA) of West Manggarai Regency, namely the development of tourism destinations, the development of the tourism industry, the development of tourism marketing, and the development of tourism institutions. The implementation of policies in accordance with the directions of the RIPPARDA has not been maximally implemented in the tourism sector. Communities pursue changes in welfare through economic value, but all require time and process so that tourism planning and development can be felt by local people. Abstract

The tourism sector fosters social change, including the emergence of friction of interests that leads to land / space conflicts. This research aims to explain: (1) Kaluku Beach tourism object as a realm of struggle for economic capital; (2) failure of economic capital management and lack of village leadership authority impacted massively barrier in tourism sector. Research results show that Kaluku beach tourism area is a field of conflict interest in terms of economic capital, leads to worst impact on tourism object management, low rates visiting. The absence of spatial planning and lack of village leadership authority caused conflict vulnerability, requires symbolic capital influence from village leader as dispute resolution. Suggestion for village leaders that they take consideration spatial planning in urgent, utilization of local resources and push social readiness towards social changes.Key words: Kaluku beach tourism, Land dispute, symbolic capital

Abstract

Tourism is a kind of activity which has multiplicative impact to economic development of a region especially moreover to society around the tourism place. Mamuya’s hot water spring is a tourist spot in North Halmahera Regency that have good prospectto develop. The purpose of this research is to study and evaluate development program of mamuya’s hot water spring by knowing public opinion about it. The method used in this study uses a Likert scale to find out the public opinion through a questionnaire then analyzed using SWOT analysis to compare people's opinions with the Mamuya hot water development program. The result shows that the necessity of promotion is very needed through somekind of tourism events as attraction to people; keeping the beauty of nature around the spot; repair and maintenance the access road to location; add the street light along the access road; repair the pool, add some more facilities as more toilets, more gazebos, shelter, umbrella houses, and keep the maintance; build some new facilities like provide the parking area, deposit counter, merchandise outlet (join with the craftsman round the place), building the awareness towards the importance of cleanliness; facilities development by local architecture; public facilities improvement as tourism supporting.Keywords: program, evaluation, hot, water spring, tourism
