Abstract

Indonesia started to developed largely the MRT line, especially the BRT. A new BRT Corridor implementation need a Passenger Demand Prediction. Thus, a Special BRT Passenger Demand Modelling Method for a New BRT Line need to be developed. This attempt needs a sufficient knowledges on the Existing BRT User Trip Characteristics. Mamminasata BRT User Trip Characteristics Survey were executed on Corridor 2 and Corridor 3, during morning peak hour. The result indicates that the BRTs are used mainly for schooling and working trips, the BRT passengers are the previous public transport and motorcycle users. The trip origin zone is extended 3 km to the left and to the right of the BRT corridor, while the trip destination zone is extended 1.5 km to the left and to the right of the BRT corridor. The embarking connecting trip modes are dominated by motorcycle, public transport and becak, while the alighting connecting trip modes are dominated by walking tri

Abstract

The study was aimed to evaluating anticancer activity of A. suberitoides on protein profile of blood plasma of fibrosarcoma mice (M. musculus). Mice were induced by Benzo(a)pyrene on the subcutaneous tissue intravenously with a concentration of 0,3 gram/0,2 oleum olivarum/day for 2 weeks. Mice were treated with ethanolic extract of A. suberitoides every day for two weeks. There were six groups. The first group (I) was control. Group II, mice were induced by CMCNa, Group III mice were treated by Cyclophosphamide. Group IV, V and VI mice were treated by ethanolic extract of A. suberitoides with 500, 1000 and 1500 mg/weight. Mice blood were taken at week fifteen. Protein profile of mice was measured by electrophoresis SDS-PAGE. The protein profile indicated that the mice were induced benzo(a)pyrene (Group II, III, IV, V and VI) have a new protein band (41 kDa). The protein band not presented in control (Group I). The protein band ( 7 kDa) was in Groups I and II, but it not presented in Groups III, IV, V and VI. The most interesting protein band was 115 kDa, which presented only in Groups II, III and IV. The research showed that the sponge extract with concentration of 1000 and 1500 mg/weight repressed the expression of protein 115 kDa

Abstract

This paper is study about using paper filter Whatman no.42 for measuring water retention on cement paste. The research is conducted as experiment in laboratory by making two types of specimens. The first speciment is cement paste with variation of water cement ratio and the second one is foam cement paste. There are two step for measuring water retention on cement paste. The first step is specimen immersed with immersion duration (t1). The second step is searching of filter paper weight to obtain water content after contact with two specimen. t1is time of consistency water content on specimens. The parameters (t1) must be searched before measuring water retention. The result of measurement water retention be shown in a curve.
