Abstract

Pelabuhan Ketapang merupakan tempat penyeberangan dengan moda transportasi laut antara Jawa dan Bali. Penelitian dilakukan pada kapal Prathita dan Mutis dengan sampel 100 penumpang dan analisis data menggunakan metode IPA. Data yang digunakan valid dan reliabel. Analisis tingkat pelayanan pelabuhan Ketapang Banyuwangi terhadap kepuasan penumpang menunjukkan bahwa yang paling banyak terdapat pada kuadran B dan kuadran D. Kuadran B (pelayanan perlu dipertahankan) meliputi faktor kondisi kapal, kecepatan pemrosesan tiket, pelayanan petugas yang cepat, tepat dan ramah serta ketepatan waktu tunggu di pelabuhan. Pada kuadran D (faktor tidak terlalu penting, tapi dilaksanakan dengan baik) meliputi kebersihan dan kerapihan pelabuhan, pengaturan parkir di kapal, petugas yang tidak memandang status sosial dalam pelayanannya dan petugas bertanggung jawab terhadap keamanan dan kenyamanan penumpang.

Abstract

Banyuwangi is currently focusing on the development of tourism development area II with its main attraction being Sukomade. Sumberagung Village is one of the villages in the area. Sumberagung Village has potential as a tourist village , but does not yet have a tourism village development model that can be used as management guidelines. This causes the absorption and use of village funds to be less fully absorbed so it is necessary to formulate a special strategy for tourism villages. This research is focused on making a strategy design with the Blue Ocean Strategy approach with a four-step framework analysis, namely Eliminate, reduce, raise and create. Through the approach of eight aspects of forming a tourist village, the results of the study show that Sumberagung Village is in the development stage so the focus of the development strategy that is considered appropriate is fitness tourism by maximizing the creation of new tourist attractions.

Abstract

This paper is study about using paper filter Whatman no.42 for measuring water retention on cement paste. The research is conducted as experiment in laboratory by making two types of specimens. The first speciment is cement paste with variation of water cement ratio and the second one is foam cement paste. There are two step for measuring water retention on cement paste. The first step is specimen immersed with immersion duration (t1). The second step is searching of filter paper weight to obtain water content after contact with two specimen. t1is time of consistency water content on specimens. The parameters (t1) must be searched before measuring water retention. The result of measurement water retention be shown in a curve.

Abstract

Soft soil in construction often creates a problem. Soft soil which has the characteristics of low bearing capacity and high shrinkage properties becomes a problem for construction. One of the efforts to overcome these problems is by planning building foundations that are following soft soil characters. A floating foundation is planned that adopts the concept of lightweight concrete. The lightweight concrete used is an innovative concrete that uses styrofoam as a substitute for coarse aggregate. So that this concrete does not require broken stone or gravel as a concrete filler. Initial planning for floating foundations was carried out in the Purwoharjo area. Soil samples are taken and analyzed their characteristics to get the soil parameters. Then the dimensions of the foundation are planned by using the terzaghi formula for shallow foundations. The decrease or settlement of the soil was analyzed using the help of PLAXIS 2D software. Tanah lunak dalam konstruksi seringkali menjadi sebuah kendala. Tanah lunak yang memiliki karakteristik daya dukung rendah dan sifat kembang susut tinggi menjadi sebuah permasalahan dalam mendirikan bangunan di atasnya. Salah satu upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan merencanakan pondasi bangunan yang sesuai dengan karakter tanah lunak. Direncanakan sebuah pondasi apung yang mengadopsi konsep beton ringan. Beton ringan yang digunakan merupakan beton inovasi yang menggunakan styrofoam sebagai pengganti agregat kasarnya. Sehingga beton ini tidak memerlukan batu pecah atau kerikil sebagai bahan pengisi beton. Perencanaan awal untuk pondasi apung, dilakukan di daerah Purwoharjo. Sample tanah diambil dan dianalisis karakteristiknya untuk mendapatkan parameter-parameter tanahnya. Kemudian direncanakan dimensi pondasi dengan menggunakan rumus terzaghi untuk pondasi dangkal. Penurunan atau settlement tanah dianalisis menggunakan bantuan software PLAXIS 2D.

Abstract

The subgrade is an important part of highway construction. The strength and durability of pavement construction depend on the nature and bearing capacity of the soil. The soil tested was the most dominant soil in the Siliragung sub-district, namely reddish-brown latosol soil and lithosol and gray grumusol soil. Soil characteristic tests were carried out by sieve analysis, Atterberg limit, specific gravity, bulk density, sand cone, standard proctor, and laboratory CBR without soaking. The values ​​obtained from the results of testing the characteristics of the soil at the location of the Siliragung sub-district have a percentage of grains that pass the sieve no. 200 <35% which is 10.01% and 20.24%, it is said that the soil which is included in the subgrade selection category is very good to good with a plasticity index of 4.7% and 11.55%, namely soils that have low to moderate plasticity with a CBR value of 14.71% and 8% are soils that are classified as medium to good subgrade criteria. Based on Turnbul (1968) and the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing, Directorate General of Highways Road Pavement Manual Revised June 2017 Number 04/SE/Db/2017. For land having a CBR value of 6, the type of soil in Siliragung District does not need any improvement for road subgrade planning. ABSTRAK Tanah dasar (subgrade) merupakan suatu bagian terpenting pada suatu kontruksi jalan raya. Kekuatan dan keawetan suatu kontruksi perkerasan tergantung dari sifat dan daya dukung tanah. Tanah yang diuji adalah tanah yang paling dominan pada kecamatan Siliragung yaitu tanah jenis latosol cokelat kemerahan dan litosol dan grumosol kelabu. Pengujian karakteristik tanah dilakukan adalah analisa saringan, atterberg limit, berat jenis, berat isi, sandcone, standar proctor dan CBR laboratorium tanpa rendaman. Nilai-nilai yang didapat dari hasil pengujian karakteristik tanah pada lokasi kecamatan Siliragung, memiliki persentase butiran lolos ayakan no.200<35% yaitu sebesar 10,01% dan 20,24% dikatakan tanah yang termasuk kategori pemilihan tanah dasar baik sekali sampai baik dengan indeks plastisitas 4,7% dan 11,55% yaitu tanah yang memiliki plastisitas rendah sampai sedang dengan nilai CBR 14,71% dan 8% adalah tanah yang termasuk jenis kriteria tanah dasar sedang sampai baik. Berdasarkan Turnbul (1968) dan Kementrian Pekerjaan Umum Dan Perumahan Rakyat Direktorat Jendral Bina Marga Manual Perkerasan Jalan Revisi Juni 2017 Nomor 04/SE/Db/2017. Untuk tanah memilki nilai CBR ≥ 6 maka jenis tanah yang ada di Kecamatan Siliragung tidak perlu ada perbaikan untuk perencanaan subgrade jalan.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kampung Tiram merupakan kampung penghasil kerang dan tiram yang berada di Desa Kedungringin Banyuwangi. Berlimpahnya hasil laut berupa kerang dan tiram yang ada di Desa tersebut membuat banyaknya tumpukan limbah cangkang kerang tanpa dimanfaatkan secara maksimal. Hal tersebut yang mendasari penulis dan tim untuk melakukan sosialisasi dan pelatihan pemanfaatan limbah cangkang kerang dan tiram sehingga menjadikannya barang yang memiliki nilai jual. Limbah cangkang dijadikan barang yang selain memiliki nilai jual juga memiliki nilai seni. Limbah cangkang tersebut dijadikan mozaik yang membentuk gambar dan karakter. Tujuan utama dilaksanakannya sosialisasi dan pelatihan, yaitu untuk menambah pengetahuan masyarakat dan kesadaran masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan peluang usaha dari limbah cangkang kerang. Selain melakukan sosialisasi dan pelatihan, penulis dan tim melakukan kegiatan pembentukan kelompok usaha pemuda kreatif yang nantinya menjadi Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) di Desa tersebut.Kata Kunci: Mozaik Kerang; UMKM; Pengolahan Limbah CangkangAbstract:  Kampung tiram is a village producing shells and oysters in the Village of Kedungringin Banyuwangi. The abundance of marine products in the form of shells and oysters in the village makes many piles of shell waste without being utilized optimally. This is what underlies the authors and the team to conduct socialization and training in the utilization of shell and oyster shell waste so that it becomes an item that has a sale value. Shell waste is used as an item which besides having sale value also has artistic value. The shell waste is made into a mosaic that forms images and characters. The main objective of the implementation of socialization and training, which is to increase public knowledge and public awareness in utilizing business opportunities from waste shells. In addition to conducting outreach and training, the writer and the team conducted activities to form a creative youth business group that would later become the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Village.Keywords: Scallop Mosaics; MSMEs; Shellfish Waste Treatment

Abstract

Banyuwangi Regency refers to the tourism industry as its leading source of regional income, promoting its tourism destination icon: The Triangle of Diamond. In addition to being an icon, The District Medium-Term Development Plan of Banyuwangi 2016-2021 asserted the Triangle of Diamond as its major project in the Tourism Development Area (TDA). Mount Ijen Crater in Licin District is assigned as TDA I, Plengkung Beach in Tegaldlimo District is designated as TDA II, and Sukamade Beach in Pesanggaran Subdistrict is registered as TDA III. It is expected that tourism is well-developed in rural areas and may increase the prosperity of its people. The analysis of the interactive model of Miles and Huberman (1992), we collected data, gave and recapitulated scores, and determined the final category as a tourist village. The results showed that Kemiren Village in area I, Kalipait Village in area II, and Sumberagung Village in area III are categorized as tourism villages. The three villages have corresponding advantages in cultural aspects, which can then be used to determine a tourism village development strategy. The area I involved the villages of Kemiren, Tamansari, and Kampunganyar. Area II involved Kedungasri, Kalipait, and Purwoagung villages. Area III involved the villages of Sarongan, Sumberagung, and Kedungwungu. Kemiren, Kalipait, and Sumberagung villages have the same advantages in cultural aspects, which can then be used to determine a tourism village development strategy.

Abstract

Pulau lombok termasuk kedalam jalur metalogen, merupakan jalur dimungkinkan terbentuknya mineral bahan galian tambang. Potensi bahan galian mineral tambang tersebar secara tidak merata di masing-masing wilayah Kabupaten Lombok Barat dan dengan jenis yang berbeda-beda, tergantung pada proses geologi terbentuknya bahan galian mineral tersebut. Dengan pemaanfaatan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) para pengguna dapat mengetahui keberadaan sumber daya mineral tersebut karena SIG merupakan sistem berbasis komputer yang dapat digunakan karena mampu menyimpan, memanipulasi, menganalisis dan menampilkan data spasial serta menampilkan atribut yang ada di dalamnya secara terpadu. Secara umum metode penelitian menggunakan analisis Sistem Informasi Geografis dengan mengkompilasi data sekunder. Untuk mendapatkan basis data spasial dilakukan analisis SIG berupa digitasi. Berdasarkan hasil digitasi pada Software ArcGIS 10.4.1 Kabupaten Lombok Barat memiliki potensi sumber daya mineral logam dan logam, namun keberadaan sumber daya mineral tersebut pada kawasan hutan dan kawasan pemukiman. Penyebaran bahan galian logam terdapat di dua Kecamatan yaitu Kecamatan Sekotong dan Lembar, dengan komoditi emas dan mangan, sementara bahan galian nonlogam tersebar di sepuluh kecamatan, dengan komoditi bahan galian C seperti batu andesit,dasit, diorit, pasir, tanah urug, kalsit, batu gamping, trass. Hasil overlayer antara peta kawasan hutan dangan wilayah tambang galian logam menunjukkan hutan produksi terbatas yang telah dijadikan sebagai areal penambangan bahan galian logam, mencapai luasan 4606,24 ha atau 49,65 % dari peruntukan kawasan hutan produksi terbatas, sementara pada kawasan hutan lindung yang dijadikan penambangan mencapai luasan 62,3 Ha atau 0,67 % dari luas areal peruntukan kawasan lindung.

Abstract

Elevators is used as vertical transportation devices in multi-story buildings. The Grand Indonesia Mall in the West Mall area provides two areas for its elevators, one of which is the Arjuna Elevator in the foodprint area. According to the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 03-6573-2001, in a standard building, visitors typically wait for elevators for about 40-60 seconds. However, at the Arjuna Elevator, the waiting time exceeds 60 seconds, leading to queues. The reference used in this study is SNI 03-6573-2001, and the research method involves direct survey implementation conducted over 14 days. The calculation results based on direct surveys show that the travel time of the Arjuna Elevator is 80 seconds. It is noted that only 2 out of 3 units are currently operational, with 1 unit undergoing repairs. Consequently, the average waiting time for each unit is 120.997 seconds. The capacity within 5 minutes reaches 100 people, and the circulation demand is 9.17%, while the minimum circulation demand according to SNI 03-6573-2001 is 10%. Based on these calculations, It is concluded that the optimal number of elevator units is 3, resulting in a circulation demand of 10.09% for the Arjuna Elevator in the West Mall area of Grand Indonesia.
