Abstract

Abstract.There are manystudentswhohave difficultyin solvingmath problems. The difficultiescausedinstudentsa mistakein solvingproblems.The types of student’s mistakesare the use of misused data, misinterpretated language, logically invalid inference, distorted theorem,unverified solution,and technical error. Therefore, appliedIKRAR learning modelis urgently needed todecrease thestudent’smistakes in solvingLinear Equation of One Variable problems at seventhgradeMTs Negeri Kalibaruacademic year2013/2014. This research design is Classroom Action Research (CAR).The result show that the percentage ofeffectivenesson the first cycle of 31,02 % and 41,80 % for the second cycle. So it can be concluded that the application of IKRAR learning model type is effective enough to overcome student’s mistakesin solving Linear Equation of One Variable. Abstract

Abstract.This study was aimed to determine the air flow on the Suramadu bridge during extreme conditions. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is the science study of the flow fluida where air flow is one of them. The wind velocity data that will be examined in this study derived from the previous research. The other data, namely density, viscosity, gravity and pressure obtained from Wikipedia etc. The results of this study in the form of the mathematical model for air flow in the Suramadu bridge obtained using the vinite volume methods. The model was discretized by using upwind Quadratic Interpolation Convective Kinematics (QUICK) to obtain a matrix of size n x n that will be solved by using iterative cojugate gradient methods using MATLAB and Fluent programs. The resulth show that air velocity of Suramadu bridge is extreamly high. It dengerous for any vehicles through the bridge. Abstract

Abstract.The research aims to know the process and result of development of mathematics problem based learning materials foreighth grade of junior high schoolforSystem of linear equations of two variablestopic. The products refer to the component of problem based learning. Learning instrumentsdevelopment model refers to Plomp models which has 5 steps namely (1) preliminary investigation, (2) design, (3) realization/construction, (4) test, evaluation, and revision and(5) implementation.This research has three products namely lesson plan, worksheet,and evaluation test. The data collection methods used in this research is, test interview, documentation, observation,and questionnaire.Based on the validation process and try out of validated materials, the score of each product are 0.93 for lesson plan, 0.94 for worksheet, and 0.95 for instrument. It can be concluded that the validated materials have satisfied of the validity, practice, and effective criteria. Abstract

Abstract. The research aims is to know the process and the result of development lesson plan and student worksheets based on CORE (connecting organizing reflecting extending) learning model with technique of mind mapping for curved space topic at ninth grade of junior high school. Learning instruments development model refers to 4D Thiagarajan models which has 4 steps namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. This research has two products namely lesson plan and student worksheets. Based on validation process and tryout, the result shows that the coefficient of validity reachs 0,60, the percentages of teacher’s activities and students’ responses are above 80%, and the percentage of students’ activitie is above 10% - 20%, it can be concluded that the lesson plan and student worksheet had fullfiled the validity, practice, and effective criteria. Abstract

Abstract.The research aimed to know the level ofunderstanding ofjunior high school mathematicsteachers for assessment, the developmentassessment and the implementation ofassessment injunior high school mathematicsteachers in Tempeh Subdistrict. The research subject is six junior high school from eight junior high school in Tempeh Subdistrict. The data collection methods used in this research is questionnaire, observation, interview, and documentation. Based on research it shows thatthe level ofunderstanding ofjunior high school mathematicsteachers about assessment in Tempeh Subdistrict as much as 60,17%, 75,00% mathematicsteachershad developedassessment, and 53,91% mathematicsteachershadconducted assessmentin accordance with BSNP. Abstract

Abstract.For a simple graph G, a labelling λ∶V(G)∪E(G)→ {1,2,…,k} is called an edge irregular total k-labelling of G if for any two different edges e and f of G there is, wt(e)≠wt(f). The total edge irregularity strength denoted by tes G is the smallest positive integer k for which G has an edge irregular total k-labelling. In this paper, we consider the total edge irregularity strength of Bermuda Triangle graph and the union isomorphic and non isomorphic Bermuda Triangle graph. We show that tes(〖Btr〗_(n,4) )= ⌈(30n+17)/3⌉, for n≥1, tes(〖sBtr〗_(n,4) )=⌈(s(30n+15)+ 2)/3⌉, for n≥1 and s≥2, and tes(〖Btr〗_(n,4)∪〖Btr〗_(m,4) )=⌈((30n+15)+ (30m+15)+ 2)/3⌉, for 1≤n≤m. Abstract

Abstract.Sand is one material that is very useful for human life that is often used to build a house that will be used as a human habitation. But not all areas of the river containing sand stored below the surface of the water, it depends on various factors such as the speed of the river flow, pressure, and position of the area of the river (curves, straight or it could be a meeting between the two rivers). In this study constructed a model of the shape of sand sedimentation analysis of the problems and solve the problem by using the volume up (finite volume method). The model is constructed based on the pressure and flow rate of the river, which is expected to know about the profile picture of sand sedimentation on a wide range of pressure and flow velocity pattern of the river. Based on the results of the simulation it was concluded that if both channels of the river has a flow rate of pressure and speed the same then the area of sand sedimentation areas potentially occur before the second meeting of the river, whereas if it has a level of pressure and velocity will be different after the confluence area with ideal conditions ie pressure and velocity of the river branch is higher than the main river.
