Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh deskripsi tentang penerapan pendekatan Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan bentuk aljabar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Desain penelitian mengacuh pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart, yakni perencanaan, tindakan dan observasi, serta refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui penerapan pendekatan RME hasil belajar siswa meningkat, dengan mengikuti tahap-tahap RME yaitu (1) memahami masalah, (2) menyelesaikan masalah, (3) membandingkan dan mendiskusikan jawaban, (4) menyimpulkan.Abstract: This research aim to obtain a description about applyingRealistic Mathematic Education (RME) approach able to improving student achievment of additional and subtraction of algebra form matter. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh deskripsi tentang penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sindue pada materi logika matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas  mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart  terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan dan pengamatan, serta refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sindue pada materi logika matematika,  yakni: 1) melibatkan siswa secara aktif dalam memahami materi dan membahas contoh soal; 2) mengarahkan siswa untuk bergabung dengan kelompoknya masing-masing; 3) berkeliling mengontrol kegiatan siswa dan memberikan bantuan seperlunya pada kelompok yang mengalami masalah; 4) mengarahkan dan membimbing  siswa untuk saling tukar menukar informasi pada saat berkunjung dan dikunjungi; 5) mengontrol kegiatan siswa kembali ke kelompoknya masing-masing; 6) memberikan bantuan seperlunya pada kelompok yang mengalami kesulitan mencocokkan hasil temuannya dari kelompok lain dengan hasil kerja kelompok masing-masing; 7) mengundi kelompok yang mempresentasikan hasil kerja di depan kelas dan kelompok lain menanggapi. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Two Stay Two Stray; Hasil Belajar; Logika Matematika. Abstrack: The research aim to obtain a description of the applying of Cooperative Learning Model Type two stay two stray that can improve student learning outcomes X classes at SMAN 1 Sindue material mathematical logic. This research is a classroom action research refered  to desain research Kemmis and Mc. Taggart consisted of  planning , action and observation , and reflection.  The results showed that the application of cooperative learning model two stay two stray that can improve student learning outcomes in class X SMA Negeri 1 Sindue on material mathematical logic, those are: 1) actively engage students in understanding the material and discuss example problems; 2) lead students to join the group each; 3) around control the activities of students and provide assistance as needed in the group that experienced the problem; 4) directing and guiding students to exchange information at the time of visit and be visited; 5) control activities of the students return to their own group; 6) researchers provide the necessary assistance if there is a group who have difficulty in checking off result of its finding from other group with result of each team work; 7) raffle group of researchers who present their work in front of the class and the other listened .

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh deskripsi penerapan metode Polya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah soal cerita pecahan pada siswa kelas VII  SMP Negeri 13 Palu. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan rancangan penelitian mengacu pada model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang terdiri dari 4 komponen yaitu: 1) Perencanaan, 2) Pelaksanaan Tindakan, 3) Observasi dan 4) Refleksi. Pada penelitian ini, data dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi, wawancara, tes tertulis, serta catatan lapangan. Data yang diperoleh disajikan secara kualitatif dan dianalisis secara kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan langkah Polya dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita pecahan di kelas VII SMP Negeri 13 Palu, empat langkah Polya, yaitu: (1) Memahami masalah, 2) menyusun  rencana, 3) melaksanakan rencana, dan 4) mengecek kembali jawaban yang diperoleh.   Kata kunci: Langkah-langkah Polya; Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah; Soal Cerita Pecahan;   Abstract: The purpose of this study was to obtain a description of the application of Polya’s method to enhance the problem solving fraction word problems in the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 13 Palu. This type of research is a classroom action research with the study design refers to the model of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart which consists of 4 components: 1) Planning, 2) Implementation of action, 3) Observation and 4) Reflection. In this study, data were collected through observation sheets, interviews, written tests, and field notes. The data obtained are presented qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed. The results show that the learning using Polya steps can increase students problem solving ability in solving word problems in class VII fractions SMP 13 Palu, Polyas four steps, namely: (1) Understanding the problem, 2) develop a plan, 3) execute the plan, and 4) richeck answers obtained. Abstract

The Objective of this research was to obtain the description of the applying the contextual teaching learning (CTL) that can improve student learning outcomes in solving addition and subtraction word problems in V SDN Inpres Balaroa Palu. Type is a classroom action research. The design of this study refers to the research design Kemmis and Mc Taggart that is planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research results showed that the application of contextual teaching learning (CTL) that can improve student learning outcomes in solving addition and subtraction word problems berpenyebut different fractions following components, namely 1) constructivis, 2) ask, 3) finding, 4) learning community, 5) modeling, 6) reflection and 7) assessment.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain a description of the application of scientific approaches that can improve student learning outcomes of class VII MTsN West Palu on the material and the area around the kite. This research is a classroom action research. The research design refers to the design of research Kemmis and Mc. Taggart, namely planning, action and observation, and reflection. The results showed that the application of a scientific approach can improve learning outcomes in the material and the area around the kite with the following steps: (1) observing, (2) questioning, (3) associating, (4) experimenting, (5) networking. .

Abstract

This research aim to obtain a description the implementation of the application cooperative learning model NHT type in effort to improve learning outcomes VII grade students of SMP Negeri 19 Palu on the set operations matter. Kind of this research is classroom action research which refers to the design of Kemmis and Mc Taggart’s model. The data obtained in this study are presented qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed. Based on the result of research conducted in class VII SMP Negeri 19 Palu there is a significant improvement from pre-test to the first cycle of action and to the second cycle.

Abstract

This research aim to obtain a description about applying of Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction (ARCS)  model can improve students’ learning outcomes in angles of a triangle material. The type of research is classroom action research. The design of this study referred to the model proposed by Kemmis and Mc. Teggart. This study was conducted in two cycles. The results of the study showed that through the application of ARCS model can improve student learning outcomes, by following the steps, namely  (1) creating and focusing student’s attention by praying, checking attendance and inform the material to be learned to the students, (2) giving apperception to the students form of matter that is shown with the help of broadcast material, (3) delivering the learning objectives and benefits of learning by showing pictures of everyday life that relate to the material, (4) delivering the learning materials, in the form of directives in the task delivery in student worksheet (SWS), (5) providing tutoring session to students who need guidance, (6) gaining students’ performance by providing the opportunity for some groups to present their work to the class, (7) providing feedback in the form of positive comments and compliments on the work of students, (8) evaluating students’ learning outcomes by providing practice questions to students, (9) and strengthening the retention and transfer by giving homework and gives a message that can motivate students

Abstract

This research aim to obtain description about applying Cooperative Learning of NHT with the assist of Posinega card able to improve student concept understanding on addition and subtraction of integer. This research was a classroom action research which refers to the Kemmis’ and Mc. Taggart’s design, that is plan, action and observation, and reflection. This research consist of two cycles, and each of the cycles was held in two meeting. The results of this research indicating that through applying of Cooperative Learning of NHT student concept understanding can increased, with the steps of Cooperative Learning of NHT (1) convey the learning purpose and motivating, (2) Presenting information, (3) numbering, (4) questioning, (5) heads together, (6) answering, and (7) giving appreciation. At the 1th phase, researcher convey the learning purpose and benefit to motivate the students; at the 2nd phase, researcher  presented addition and subtraction of integer through the demonstration of posinega card usage; at the 3rd phase, researcher divided the students into some groups, and gave number to each member of group; at the 4th phase, researcher gave task in worksheet to the students; at the 5th phase, the students were asked to think together in doing their worksheet and researcher guided them to do that; at the 6th phase,  researcher mentioned one number and the students who have the number presented their worksheet in front of the class; and at the 7th phase, researcher gave appreciation to each group.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to obtain the description of applying the direct learning model aided props machine function in effort to improve students understanding on  material of composition of the two functions in class XI IPA SMAN 3 Palu. This research is a classroom action research (CAR). As the research design refers to the design of the research of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart that is (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation and (4) reflection. This research was conducted in two cycles. The research results showed that the applying the direct learning model aided props machine function can increase students  understanding on material of composition of the two phases following these steps, namely: (1) teacher outlines the objectives and prepare students, (2) teacher presenting and demonstrating of material with aided props machine function, (3) teacher guiding the training with scaffolding techniques, (4) teacher checking students understanding by asking for student to present their answers in front of class and provide feedback, and (5) provide opportunities for advanced training and implementation by providing practice questions alone to students without guided by the teacher.
