Abstract

This researchaimed to determinethe effect of cow manureaddition to soil physicalpropertiessoil and tomatoplant yield. The research was conducted during September toDecember 2014in BulupountuVillage, Sigi Biromaru Sub District, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi Province.This research used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with cow manurerates as the experimental treatments. The rates included without fertilizer (control), 15Mg ha-1, 30Mg ha-1 and45 Mg ha-1.Eachtreatment was replicated3timesso thatthere were 12experimental plots.Rising the cow manure rate significanltly increased plant height. Similar results also indicated by the number of tomato fruits except at 45 Mg ha-1the fruit number decreased. Applying 30 Mg ha-1 resulted in highest number of tomato fruit. The addition of cow manure significantly improvedsoilphysical properties. Soil bulk density, porosity and permeability declined significantly to only 1,56 g cm-3, 35.45 % and 2,18 cm jam-1 when the rate of cow manure increased to 45 Mg ha-1.

Abstract

This study aims was to determine the affect of land area, seed, fertiliser and labor to the local Palu onion production in the Village Wombo Kalonggo Village Tanantovea Sub District Donggala Regency and the incomes of local palu union farming at Village Wombo Kalonggo Sub Tanantovea Donggala Regency. Respondents used in this study were 30 respondents of the 44 households that farming  of local palu union by using simple random sampling. The analisys showed that the simultaneously land area factor (X1), seeds (X1), fertilizer (X3) and labor (X4) very significant effect on farm production local palu union farming, with an F-count > F-table (1571,575 > 2,76) at the a level of 5% significancy. The test resuls show that the t-test was higly significant on land area with t-count > t-table (76.911 > 2,06), the seed was higly significant with t-count > t-table (15.843 > 2,06), fertilizer was highly significant with t-count > t-table (-10,640 > 2,06) and a significant on labor with t -count > t-table (2.604 > 2,06), respectively at the 5 % level ?. The revenue analysis results showed that the average income of the respondent of Local Palu onion farmers Wombo Kalonggo village in single growing season was Rp 6.359.362,23/0,53ha or Rp 11.998.796,66/ha.

Abstract

Banggai yam (Dioscorea spp) has a great potential to be developed as a companion crop of rice. Government policies regarding food diversification and the limited arable land in Sulawesi, will provide a great opportunity in this plant. The research objective was to compare the growth and yield some kind of potato Banggai on aplication of various organic fertilizers. This research was conducted housed in the Village. Tondo, East Palu. The experiment began forFebruari to Agustus 2014. The study was a randomized block design (RAK) with three treatments, namely: no treatment (control), Bokashi (manure of poultry) and ash. Where each treatment was repeated three times resulting in 27 experimental units. Significantly different treatment in further test honestly significant difference test (HSD) level of 5%. Parameter observations on the components of growth include the number of shoots, plant height and to include the results of components, total fresh weight of tubers / plot, tuber number of plants / plot, the diameter of the bulbs. Ubi type Banggai significant effect on the growth of the number of plant height (302.72 cm), the number of shoots (3.20) was obtained on the type Raw Memeila Boan, while data results indicate that the type of Raw Boan Memeila more dominant crops produce the amount of 5.78 plant, tuber number 6.89, and 21.01 cm diameter than the bulb types and kinds of Raw Materials Pusus Tu'u, Giving type of organic fertilizer had no significant effect on growth and yield Ubi Banggai and Banggai interaction between the type of potato and organic fertilizer nor significantly affected the growth and yield of potato Banggai.

Abstract

One of the diseases that exist and are very detrimental to farmers wilt disease caused by the fungus Fusarium oxysporum on tomato plants, where the disease is an important disease and including major diseases on tomato plants. The level of pathogenic attack caused substantial losses to farmers. The aim of research to determine the effect of the fungus Trichoderma spp. in suppressing the development of Fusarium wilt disease in relation to the optimal plant growth and yield of tomato. This study aims to determine the effect of the fungus Trichoderma spp. in suppressing the development of Fusarium oxysporum disease in relation to growth and optimal results on tomato plants. This study was conducted in September 2014 until the month of February 2015, at the Laboratory of Plant Pests and Diseases and Greenhouse, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tadulako. Research using completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments, T1 = control (without application), T2 = treated Trichoderma spp. as much as 20 g / polybag, T3 = treatment of Trichoderma spp. as much as 30 g / polybag, T4 = treated Trichoderma spp. as much as 40 g / polybag and T5 = treated Trichoderma spp. as much as 50 g / polybag. Each treatment was repeated five times so that there are 25 experimental units. The results showed the introduction of the fungus Trichoderma spp. In polybag can suppress Fusarium oxysporum disease progression and sustain growth (plant height) as well as the results (number and weight of fruit) tomato plants.

Abstract

This study aims to know the amount of income of banana chips in Industry Household Sofieof Palu City.  The Respondent is done intentionally (purposive) of 3 people. Data analysed using revenue analysis methode. The results showed that the average amount of revenue that theindustry Sofie Rp 3,626,666 per month with a total cost of Rp 2,631,969 so the average income earned Household Industrial Sofie in producing banana chips Rp 994 697 per month.

Abstract

The aims of this study are the amount of raw material ordering, amount of supply raw materials and time to do a re-ordering of the raw material supply in Industry "Cita Rasaku". Data analysis tool used in this study are EOQ (Economic Order Quantity), Safety stock and Reorder Point. The results showed that the amount of the economical purchase of seaweed raw materialsby using EOQ analysis of raw material inventory at Cita Industry Rasaku for February to May 2014 are 460.93 kg, 354.56 kg, 419.52 kg, and 454.48 kg.Safety stock that should be always available in the warehouse at Cita Rasaku industry is 50 kg.Reorder point should be done by Cita Rasaku Industry are  59.22 kg in February, 57.09 kg in March, 58.39 kg in April and 59.09 kg in May.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the diversity of arthropods and population density imago white rice stem borer S. innotata in a different environment paddy crop in the district of Parigi Moutong. This study was conducted in two villages, village Lobu and village Olaya.This research was carried out for 3 months with observation interval one week, months December 2014 to February 2015. This study used a survey method and purposive sampling (selection of sites in a residential environment paddycrop and forest edges are attacked imago white rice stem borer S. innotata), The locations were divided into two rice crops Environment Environmental namely rice crops and the surrounding residential neighborhood on the outskirts of rice planting natural forests. Trapping techniques done in two ways, namely trapping insects in the day 'Pan Trap' (At 07.00 pm to 17.00 pm) and night 'Light Trap "(At 18:00 pm until 5:00 pm) while the population density imago white rice stem borers in two neighborhoods Different calculated based on the results of Arthropods in the can inside the trap. The results showed that the index Arthropod Biodiversity around the settlements amounted to 3,159 while the natural forest outskirt of 3192, this shows that environmental stability in the high category. High category indicates that the steady ecosystem stability and high productivity. Imago population density of white rice stem borer S.innotata around settlement was higher by 332 individuals compared to natural forest outskirt of 178 individuals.

Abstract

The experiment was conducted to determine the composition of bokashi fertilizer and liquid organic fertilizer concentration of goat manure on the growth of mustard. This research has been conducted in the Binangga Village, Marawola Sub. District, Sigi Regency since August to November 2014. The research was arrangedbase on Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of three levels: control, bokashi 30 tons / ha, liquid organic fertilizer 5 cc / liter, bokashi 15 tons / ha + POC 5 cc / liter, bokashi 30 tons / ha + POC 2,5 cc / liter, bokashi 15 tons / ha + POC 2,5 cc / liter, bokashi 30 tons / ha + POC 5 cc / liter. Thus, there are 7 treatments was repeated 3 times. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance followed by Honestly Significant Different (HSD), if there is a treatment effect on the growth of mustard. The results showed that giving of bokashi organic fertilizer goat manure waste and waste liquid organic fertilizer manure goat very significant effect on the parameters of plant height, number of leaf, leaf area, fresh weight of crown and root, crown dry weight and root crops and fresh weight the total cropand dry weight the total crop. Bokashi organic fertilizer treatment and the best liquid organic fertilizer on growth is at a dose of 15-30 tonnes / ha + POC 2,5-5cc / liter.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to analysis the influnce of production factors to production of clove in Tondo Village Sirenja District Donggala Regency. The research was done in Tondo Village at June until August 2014. The population in this research is 215 of clove?s farmer. From that population was taken 15 percent by simple random sampling technique that namely 37 respondents. The analysis used was Cobb-Douglass production function. The result of analysis indicates that the variable of land area (X1), plants (X2), fertilizer (X3), labor (X4), and pesticide (X5)significantly effect simultaneously and partially  to production of clove in Tondo Village, Sirenja District Donggala Regency to ? 20%.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and study the growth and yield of two varieties of bean plants that were given different types of mulchs. Starting in August 2013 to November 2013, which is located in the Sidera village,Sigi Biromaru District, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi province to the altitude of 80 meters above sea level. This study used split plot design varieties as main plot consisting of Peleton Variety (V1) and Saka Variety (V2) as well as a subplot mulch consisting of no mulch (M0), rice straw mulch (M1), rise husk mulch (M2), plastic mulch silver (M3) and plastic mulch black silver (M4). Each treatment was repeated 3 times so that overall there are 30 experimental units. The results showed Saka varieties give better effect in increasing plant height while for crops. Rice straw mulch gives a better effect in increasing the number of pods of plant and fresh pod weight (ton ha-1) that is 36,92 ton ha-1. There is interaction between the two varieties and different types of mulch. Saka varieties give better effect on flowering and pod fresh weight of plant with rice straw mulching.
