Abstract

One of the few tools of the new information today is the Global Positioning System(GPS) used to determine precise location information of the existence of objects onearth. GPS uses satellites that can serve to identify the location, direction andmovement.Therefore, the authors raised the theme of use of GPS technology to record thelocations of fish were found by fishermen in its operations. Since the GPS canprovide position quickly and precisely at all times and in all weather conditions, thenwith a GPS receiver and map navigation, the fishing like fishermen will be able tosafely explore the ocean. Thus expected to catch can be increased and can increasefuel, travel and time.

Abstract

In general, this door design tool can be applied easily. Optocoupler sensor responsetowards the open door can be detected properly. So also with the performance of LEDand buzzer as a timely warning when the sensor was detected.Specifically, the program for running the door alarm was spelled out successfully,because the microcontroller program commands can be processed and properlyinstructed.

Abstract

Lack of attention to the developers of housing complexes in the matter of light,causing less terawatnya this facility. Thus we sometimes see in a housing complexthere are some lighting that is not functioning or damaged. If there are no complaintsfrom the residents, will require a long time to fix it or may not be completelyrepaired.Given the problems above, required a lighting failure detection system that canmonitor all the existing lighting at a housing complex. In this case, the authors use the8255 Programmable Peripheral Interface as an interface (interface) as a lightcontroller that uses the Turbo C as software that provides information to the operatortentrang housing complex lighting conditions.

Abstract

Skytel operations in Indonesia have access to data located in several separate cities,namely Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, Denpasar and Medan. At the headoffice (Jakarta) terdapt two backbone, where a backbone is used to addressoperational problems (sending information) and the backbone, the other is used tohandle the administration. Each branch office is connected to one backbone, only thecentral office, which handles the operational backbone only, while the backbone thathandles all administrative issues held by the central office. In order for the localnetwork can access the branch office network backbone system of localadministration head office or vice versa, then the media needed to be able to connectthe computer networks of two or more of these. In this case the media is a computernetwork connecting Personal Computers (PCs) which are set as a router using theUNIX operating system.

Abstract

In this writing assignment is discussed about the system cache memory on the microcomputer system with memoi cache on the microprocessor that is useful to speed up computer performance. type of cache used is of type M-way set-associative caches on microprocessors is a Two-way associative cache. Suitable for this type of cache operations multiprosesing because relatively inexpensive and simple. Microprocessor has a separate cache memory data cache, for data and code for instruction cache.  The cache memory itself is a technique to improve overall system performance by combining a small random access memory with a large conventional RAM (which is slower but cheaper), so that would be obtained by high-speed memory that a large capacity with relatively cheap price.

Abstract

Created a logic level detection circuit of a digital circuit. USB Flash Drive is a type of NAND-type flash memory combined with a USB 1.1 or 2.0 and used as data storage devices smaller and lighter. Because of the sophistication that has made USB Flash Drive becoming increasingly popular as an alternative replacement disk that has been used to store data.Today USB Flash Drive measures less in length between 4-7 cm and a thickness of only 0.5 -1 cm. The user can put pocket pants or shirt. No wonder if now is a USB Flash Drive is not only popular among the IT course, Device this one was very, very popular until the elementary school level was already familiar with the USB Flash Drive as a storage medium.
