Abstract

This study is aimed to analyze the factors affecting the level of disclosure in the financial statements of the provincial governments in Indonesia. The subjects in this study are the Summary of Financial Statements Examination Results of Provincial Governments in Indonesia conducted by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK). In this study, the sample included 30 provinces with a 3-year reporting period. Samples were selected using purposive sampling method. The analytical tool used is multiple regression analysis. Based on the analysis that has been done, it shows that the capital expenditure and number of population give significant positive effects on the level of disclosure in the financial statements of the provincial governments in Indonesia.Keywords: level of disclosure, level of dependence, Locally-Generated Revenue, capital expenditures, population, audit findings, government accounting.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is want to know the effect of business risk factors, profitability, asset growth, liquidity, and sales growth to influence the capital structure of the food and beverage company in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the years 2006 to 2009 The Sample which is used in this Research 10 food and beverage companies in the consumer goods sector industry from 2006 to 2009. The method that used is purposive sampling. It is a sampling method that takes an object with certain criteria. The Result of data analysis partially showed that there was effect of business risk, profitability, assets growth, liquidity and sales growth on the capital structure with a significant level of each 0.000, 0.002, 0.005, 0.000, 0.020. Then the result of simultant analysis data showed that variable business risk, profitability, asset growth, liquidity and sales growth has affected to capital structure with a significant level of 0.000 and the greatest effect 64.9% and the remaining 35.1% described other variables.Keywords: capital structure, business risk, profitability, asset growth, liquidity and sales growth.

Abstract

This research aims to test the market expectation on minister reshuffle announcement in Indonesia and answer the doubt of event study existences. Using 61 days as a windows period and all of construction firms as research sample, it confirm the positive respond of investor on minister reshuffle announcement and no doubt on robustness of event study method. This research also capture the anomaly of market condition, as like the better performance of risk-free rate return than market return. Abstract

Solo City is a city with the second highest visit in Central Java. Development of tourism in the city of Solo is not separated from the role of community participation in developing tourism in this city. Public participation can not be separated from the tourism economy. Embedded value of social capital is one of the things that make up the community participation in tourism development. Collective action in the form of public participation can be a catalyst driving the tourism sector in order to grow continuously to stimulate economic growth in the city of Solo. The purpose of this study is to explore the role and value of social capital in the development of community-based tourism. This study applies the concept of social capital to create an understanding of how the public perception is capable of forming or building and participate in the development of tourism. This study used a qualitative research methodology and data collection through semi-structured interview method, FGD (Focus Group Discussion) and observations that made in the field.This study shows social capital through participation of Solo community that made up of expectations that leads to cooperative behavior, as seen from the cognitive aspects such as public perception that considers that the development of tourism has a positive impact (what the people feel) in the economic recovery. Expectations of a better quality of life through the development of tourism can encourage people to form a community to facilitate their participation in the development of tourism. This community serves as a place for discussion for the people in expressing their ideas about the development of tourism (what the people do), it is part of the structural aspects of social capital. Aspects of cognitive and structural aspects in social capital are able to bring the community together with government cooperation within the framework of the legal form of the Calendar of events in the development of tourism in the city of Solo.Keywords : community participation, Social Capital, development of tourism

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of the concept of relationship marketing at nonlaba organization, namely philanthropic management organization, with a focus on the role of the construct of relational commitment as a mediator variable. The research also aims to analyze the influence of variables nonmaterial benefits, geographical proximity and social proximity to the relational commitment, as well as to analyze the effect of relational commitment on cooperation with the managing organization philanthropic donors. The study was conducted on 412 donors. The results of questionnaires processed by SEM analysis techniques using software AMOS 4. Of the four hypotheses proposed in this study, as many as three hypotheses supported, namely H1, H3, and H4. Meanwhile, for the H2 is not supported. Thus, the findings of this study support the social exchange theory (Thibaut and Kelley, 1959; Blau, 1964; Homans, 1968), and supports kosep relationship marketing (Morgan and Hunt, 1994). The concept of variable mendudukan relational trust and commitment as the variable a central role in the relationship between individuals and organizations. Abstract

This study tested the model of belief adjustment in investment decision The purpose of this study was to reexamine whether there are differences in investment decisions between participants were informed of good news followed by bad news than participants who obtain information about bad news followed by good news on the pattern of presentation End of Sequence and series of short information. Design of Experiments in this study is that the pattern of presentation 1x1x2 End Of Sequence, series of short information and directions evidence (good news followed by bad news and the bad news followed by good news). The research hypothesis of research in this study were tested by Mann Whitney test. Variables used in this research is an investment decision, patterns of presentation end of the sequence, a series of short information, and order of proof. Participants involved in this research were 44 students Perbanas Surabaya bachelor degree majoring in Accounting or Management that are being or have taken courses of Financial Statement Analysis and Investment Management and Capital Markets. The result obtained is that there are significant differences in the final judgment participants who received information of good news followed by bad news compared to participants who received information about bad newsfollowedby good news also recency effect occurs in making investment decisions.Keywords: End Of Sequence, Investment Decision, Recency Effect,

Abstract

This study aims to examine the difference between the participants' investment decisions that informed good news followed by bad news rather than participants who informed bad news followed by good news on the pattern of presentation of Step by step and length series information. Design of Experiments in this study is 1x1x2 which is pattern of presentationf Step by step (SBS), a series of information length, and direction of evidence information (good news followed by bad news and bad news followed by good news). The hypothesis in this study were tested with the Mann-Whitney U test. The results from this study indicate that there is no difference between participants investment decisions that were informed of good news followed by bad news than participants who informed good news followed by bad news in the presentation of SBS meanwhile in series pattern length information in the investment decision-making. This suggests that investment decisions taken by investors is as Irrational. Non-compliance results with the theory that in acu caused by four factors that affect the internal validity of such selection, maturation, history, and testing.Keywords: Step by step; Sbs; No order Effect; Investment Decision.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyzed the factors that affect voluntary auditor switching on manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The population in this study are all companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2009 to 2014. The number of manufacturing firms sampled in this study were 630 companies observations obtained by purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique used is logistic regression analysis with SPSS version 21. Based on the analysis conducted, the results showed that the variables the percentage change in ROA and audit opinion does not affect the size of the sample companies to perform switching auditors, while change of management, financial distress, the public accountant firm’s, the client size having a significant influence on the company sample to perform the auditor switching.Keywords: Change of Management, Financial Distress, Public Accountant Firm’s, the percentage change in ROA, Client’s size, Audit Opinion and Auditor Switching.

Abstract

Credit is one of the businesses that are important to the world of banking and credit will contribute considerable revenue, butbehind it was the management of credit have various problems are quite complicated. In this complex credit management, itwould require an independent appraisal function of internal audit.With the existence of adequate internal audit, expected anyerrors, irregularities, fraud, and others that hurt the company can be kept to a minimum. The authors conducted a study atPT.BTN (Persero) Branch Bengkulu, Bengkulu S. Parman road. The research was conducted from January to finish. Object ofresearch is the study of the implementation of internal audit of credit. The purpose of this study was conducted to determine theadequacy of the implementation of internal audit provision of credit at PT.BTN (Persero) Branch Bengkulu.The method of research used analytical descriptive method the authors were with the case study approach, whereas to obtainthe data in the form of interviews conducted field research,quesioner and documentation. It also conduc ted the researchliterature. From the results of research conducted can be seen that the activities and the activities of credit at PT.BTN (persero)Branch Bengkulu increasingly broad and complex, while the author looks at the current internal audit staff is still lacking. Butviewed from the position of internal auditing is an independent and competent, the internal audit program, the stages ofimplementation of internal audit, internal audit reports and follow-up of internal audit, credit based on the principle 5C, theprocedures for granting credit assistance, and the rate of return credit, it can be concluded that the implementation of internalaudit lending PT.BTN (Persero) is adequate. It can be seen from the hypothesis that the writer suggested, namely internal auditof credit have been implemented adequately, is acceptable.Keywords : internal audit, credit, analytical descriptif

Abstract

The purpose of this research to clarify the effect of liquidity , leverage , size of the company to cash dividend policy with profitability as an intervening variable. The population in this study are all companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2012 - 2014 totaling 141 companies. The samples using purposive sampling method which was then acquired 19 manufacturing companies. The analytical method used is path analysis. The results obtained in this study is the liquidity does not affect the profitability and the size of the company while the leverage effect on profitability. Profitability affect the cash dividend policy. Profitability can not be intervening variables for liquidity, leverage and the size of the company against cash dividend policy. Conclusions from this research that the amount of leverage and the size of the company proved capable of affecting low profitability. Companies that have a large profitability does not always give a high dividend. Suggestions for investors who want high dividends should choose companies with low debt levels. For companies should fulfill their financial filled with their own capital. For further research should use a broader sample. keyword: liquidity , leverage, size of the company, cash dividend policy and  profitability
