Abstract

Controlling raw material stock is not an easy task. Because of that, a company have to plan raw material requirement to fulfill costumer needs so that the quantity and time of fulfillment is suitable. If a company buys too much raw materials whish is make the stock piled up, and increase the holding cost and the risk of damaged goods. However, if the raw materials stock is very low, there is a possibility insufficient stock (stock out) because the raw materials can not be delivered directly and if the raw materials stock is unavailable the production process is stop, the income will be delayed, and costumer trust.The solution to overcome that problem is to make design raw materials requirement planning informastion system. This system is built to counting estimate raw materials request, to counting raw materials demand, and the right time to buy the raw materials.This application will provide an information such us raw materials request report, raw materials forecasting report, and raw materials stock planning report. Based on trial results that has been done, this system could help forecast raw materials demand in the future, raw materials procurement, and the right time to buy the raw materials.

Abstract

Abstract:  Recording hardware repair and maintenance at the Academy Secretary Widya Mandala is an application that helps to overcome the existing problems . High utility and never carried out checks on the computer laboratory conditions that often damage . Laboratory has the responsibility to care for and determine the condition of each computer so it does not interfere with the practicum and when the exam .A recording application hardware repair and maintenance needs to be applied to the Academy Secretary Widya Mandala to help resolve problems that occur in the process of monitoring the condition of the computer . This application can schedule repairs by using FIFO which means any damage will get services in advance and use PRIORITY will gain priority value to be done first .With this application, recording hardware repair and maintenance can determine the condition of each laboratory and readiness computer laboratory before being used by the practitioner . The data generated can know how many times the damage and can turn a new computer . Keyword : Damage , Priority , Repair, Fifo .

Abstract

Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Tarbiyatut Tholabah an equal school to high school. this MA provides library facilities. Visiting hours students are very limited so most members of the library borrow a book at hour break. To be able to borrow books, students should look for a collection to be borrowed on a bookshelf therefore causes the lending collections to be crowded at the end of hour break. Crowded lending at the end of an hour break cause officers overwhelmed serving members of the library and affect the return book. Late return of books disturb other members of the library, because they can’t borrow books that overdue returned. When a member of the library has been fined resulted in many member of the library who decided not to return a book that is not subject to penalties. This causes the loss of the school. Based on this problem, then the application is built on the MA Tarbiyatut Tholabah library to help members of the library order the book at any time. Moreover, it can overcome the problem of delay in collection of checks, collections search, booking a collection that can be accessed from anywhere, and create reports. The results showed that the application of the library can assist members in providing information delay lending collection, information books owned by the library and can reserve books. Moreover, it can help the library to find out information reports.

Abstract

Abstract: PT Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia (PT BJTI) is a subsidiary of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero). As agencies engaged in the field of port, PT BJTI apply timeliness in reporting and recording daily conduct HMC operational tool, PT BJTI often have inaccuracies in recording daily reports HMC operational tool, it makes the results of the evaluation to be late, so the decision to become a HMC tool operation not in time, and reporting systems that are not effectively make HMC operational reporting process becomes longer because the recording is done in the field and then submitted to the office (staff) at a considerable distance.Through the analysis, it is known that the delay reporting conducted field operators resulting length HMC tool performance evaluation conducted by Supervisor Equipment II that became the target suitability report is not timely. Of problems and analysis of existing problems, it is necessary that the application can perform a performance evaluation of web-based tools that HMC is built based on interviews and observations that have been made. Based on the results of testing and evaluation, it is known that the application can provide detailed information about HMC performance reporting tool, so that the evaluation can be done on time and not until there is delay in the provision of monthly reports and statements report the suitability of the target.

Abstract

Surabaya City Department of Education is the government agencies engaged in the field of education. Field workforce is part of the Department of Education Surabaya handling and placement needs of educators and non-educators to all public schools in the city of Surabaya. The main constraints faced by the Surabaya City Department of Education today is the process of placing an uneven educators based on the subjects required by each school.These constraints lead to uneven educators, resulting in accumulation of educators in some schools. To overcome these obstacles, the required application of Decision Support System Design Placement Educator Profile Matching Method Using. Selection of profile matching method because the method has been shown to result in recommendations for placement in Biereun PTT.Based on the testing that has been done, the application can generate recommendations that will occupy school teacher placement options based on matching of perangkingan owned by each teacher. This application can help Surabaya City Department of Education, particularly the field of workforce to meet the needs of compulsory teaching required and equalization competent educators in each school according to need

Abstract

CV. Gemilang Indonesia (CV. GI) is a company engaged in the field of printing. The production process is currently using machines that work in sequence, starting from the plating machine, a big printing machine, two small printing machines, one machine collator and cutting machines. As such, in the period September 2015 – February 2016 the percentage of delays in processing orders reached 41%. The delays of the production process occurs because the company does not employ any optimization methods for scheduling the machines. For example, there are some products for one order, hence, each product needed to be processed sequentially for each machine. In this case, when the ordered – products are still being processed by the first machine, the orther machines will be idle waiting for the first machine completes the task. To overcome this problems, in this work, we develope an application for scheduling the production in the CV.GI utilizing the First Come First Serve (FCFS), Longest Processing Time (LPT), Shortest Processing Time (SPT), and the Earliest Due Date (EDD). The result of this research is about 94% which means the scheduling production system is feasible to use and can help company in the production schedule.

Abstract

Abstract: PT. Supramedika Prima Perwakilan Surabaya is a sole importer of medical devices and reagents from different brands in Indonesia. It’s customers are clinical laboratory and hospital in all region inside the east half of Indonesia. As a sole importer, this company must have a sufficient amount of inventory in order to complete each of their customer’s needs. In the mean time, the sale manager of this company is having a difficulty in estimating the amount of goods needed to be sold in the upcoming period. This issue needs to be resolved in order to prevent any customers that would stop buying goods from the company. An application to provide a forecast of goods demand in the future is needed to solve the issue. According to the data pattern test, the sales data has a close similarity to the seasonal and trend data pattern. That data pattern is best solved by using a specific method for forecasting, the Winter exponential smoothing method. After implemented, the application could make reports which could be a help to the sales manager to make a plan for the goods inventory in the near future.

Abstract

Quality Assurance and Supervision Center (Pusat Pengawasan dan Penjaminan Mutu-P3M) is a work unit which preparing, controlling, evaluating, and developing Internal Quality Assurance System (Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Internal-SPMI). At the moment P3M experiencing some problems regarding documents management. That is because in managing document such as organizing, numbering, ratification, publishing, revisioning, and extermination are still done manually. It wasted time, documents building up, and document distribution process is delayed because there is a different schedule to coordinating with related workers.Based on that problem, therfore the solution that can be offered is designing and building an application which can help to manage SPMI documents.  With this application, eventhough the interested party with particular document are absent, the interested party still can access the document online because this application is web based.The results of the trial showed that this application can provide convenience in the management process that is at the stage of drafting, document search, validation, publishing, revision and evaluation, as well as the distribution of documents to every unit.Quality Assurance and Supervision Center (Pusat Pengawasan dan Penjaminan Mutu-P3M) is a work unit which preparing, controlling, evaluating, and developing Internal Quality Assurance System (Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Internal-SPMI). Abstract

Abstract: Knowing the position of the other buses that are operating in the same direction so that the distance between the bus with the other one is not too close to an obstacle to the economic inter-city bus crew inter-provincial Department of Surabaya - Semarang. The management company also has constraints in knowing the position of each fleet in operation. This process is still difficult because of the unavailability of adequate facilities. One solution to overcome the above problems is to develop a Bus Fleet Monitoring Applications Using GPS Tracking on Android Smartphone. This system consists of android mobile applications and websites that connect to the same database. This application is equipped with GPS Logger feature that serves to coordinate the storage position to the bus fleet in the database periodically and automatically. This application is useful to know the position of the bus fleet in operation. Making it easier for the company's management in monitoring and helping the crew bus know the position and the distance between the bus. Based on the resulting application and testing that has been done, then the management company utilizing this application can monitor the bus fleet. The bus crew also can determine the position of the other buses that are operating in the same direction. Where the information is presented in the form of a marker on a digital map and notification in the form of sirens sound for a few seconds to a warning if the distance between the bus is 5 kilometers.

Abstract

Abstract: Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Pelatihan dan Pengembangan Pendidikan Kejuruan (PPPK) is a technical and operational unit of Dinas Pendidikan (Dispendik) East Java Regional that take care of training and vocational education development. UPT PPPK has a main task to organize training and vocational education development, administration, and public services. UPT PPPK has a Educational Services Division (Seksi Pelayanan Pendidikan) which suppose to organize training for Vocational High School’s teachers in Each Java Regional.Whilst there are almost 1500 Vocational High Schools, arround 36.000 teachers, and 211 vocationals in East Java which is impossible to organize all vocationals in a year. To overcome these conditions UPT PPPK needs a solution system that could assist to determining which teacher that need training the most. Collecting and analyzing data in order to identify what subjects or elements inside the organization that need to be enhanced for the sake of increasing organization’s productivity is what called as Training Need Analysis.Based on result of testing and evaluation, the application success to determining the gap that need training for the teacher through exam as placement test and teacher's training history. Whilst this gap would lead UPT PPPK to give a proper training and determining the training's participants.
