The best known deterministic polynomial-time algorithm for primality testing right now is due to Agrawal, Kayal, and Saxena. This algorithm has a time complexity O(log^{15/2}(n)). Although this algorithm is polynomial, its reliance on the congruence of large polynomials results in enormous computational requirement. In this paper, we propose a parallelization technique for this algorithm based on message-passing parallelism together with four workload-distribution strategies. We perform a series of experiments on an implementation of this algorithm in a high-performance computing system consisting of 15 nodes, each with 4 CPU cores. The experiments indicate that our proposed parallelization technique introduce a significant speedup on existing implementations. Furthermore, the dynamic workload-distribution strategy performs better than the others. Overall, the experiments show that the parallelization obtains up to 36 times speedup.

Regulations in customs and Excise have an important function in regulating legally every policy and decision making. Thus, the type of rules are made varies according to the hierarchy of the regulator. This regulation is also changing, following policy developments that occured in the higgest government. then, what if this organization has not been able to manage its regulatory archiving? even regulatory changes can not be tracked? So, we need a well-organized system that can accomodate all of the rules and the associated changes and connectedness with other type of regulations. This system will help us to provide convenience to users to search, manage and track the history of changes as well as the relationship between the rules used by the organization. This paper propose the design of an ontology-based semantic network using a graph database that use neo4j 2.3.1 as a solution. In the application that uses the sample data, we found 13 types of nodes that contains 242 child nodes and 22 type of relation that contain 548 relation that connect all the node within 3305ms.

Ths paper aims to find similarity of Hepatitis B virus (HBV) and Hepatocelluler Carcinoma (HCC) DNA sequences. The similarity of sequence allignments indicates that they have similarity of chemical and physical properties. Mutation of the virus DNA in X region has potential role in HCC. It is observed using pairwise sequence alignment of genotype-A in HBV. This paper is to purpose the modified method of Needleman Wunsch algorithm for optimum global DNA sequence alignment. The main idea is to optimize filling matrix and backtracking proccess of DNA components, so that there is reduction of computational time and space complexity. This research is applied to DNA sequence of 858 hepatitis B virus and 12 carcinoma patient. There are 10,296 pairwise of DNA sequences to be aligned globally using the modified method. As a result, it is achieved high similarity of 96.547% and validity of 99.854%. There is reduction of computational time as 34.6% and space complexity as 42.52%

We have built and characterized silica on silicon switching devices fabricated by using the electron beam irradiation. It is based on Mach-Zehnder structure fabricated on silica on silicon layers where the upper cladding used the MgF2 layers to bury the core. The switching speed of 2.0 s has been achieved. To further increase the switching speed we have used larger voltage to the Ti heating electrode to increase the thermo optics effects on silica structures. The higher driving voltage have been used that falls to zero exactly as the first extinction is reached, therefore three fold increase in modulation speed is achieved.

Currently, Chest X-ray is still widely used around the world for disease examination. This is due to its low cost, low radiation and a lot of disease information. The commonly detected disease using chest x-rays is lung disease. The characteristic of this disease is infiltrate. However, the accuracy of Chest X-ray observations is still low. Therefore, this research offers a method to perform Chest X-ray image processing in clarifying the information contained therein. This research used Chest X-ray of infant patients who treated at Central Public Hospital (RSUP) Dr. M. Djamil Padang. The total of the images tested were 17 images. In these images, there were some suspected infiltrates after being analyzed by doctors. Software used was Matlab which is conducted by applying image processing method. The method used consisted of 4 parts, that was Cropping, Filtering, Detecting Edge, and Sharpening Edge. The results of the research showed that the method could clarify edge detection of the objects contained in the image, so that the infiltrate could be more easily recognized. With this easiness, it will help the doctor to remove doubts for infiltrate observations in the Infant's lungs.

With the worldwide application of social networks, new mathematical approaches have been developed that quantitatively address this online trend, including the concept of social computing. The analysis of data generated by social networks has become a new field of research; social conflicts on social networks occur frequently on the internet, and data regarding social behavior on social networks must be analyzed objectively. This type of social computing method can solve a series of complex social computing problems including the calculation of public psychological pressure. The quantitative calculation of public psychological pressure is so important to the public opinion analysis that it can be widely applied in a lot of public information analysis fields.

Flood levels exceeding 2 metres above ground level has been observed causing electrical equipment in the 11/0.415kV substation to be fully submerged. This caused widespread supply disruption as the equipment need to be switched off due to safety reasons and prevention of further equipment damage. The use of submersible equipment and accessories has been identified as one of the mitigation methods to ensure continuous electrical supply during flood events. A research project was undertaken to develop the design criteria of the selection of submersible equipment and accessories as well as to develop the test method and evaluate the selected submersible equipment and accessories in a substation configuration. All the equipment could continuously operate in ON condition during the wet test. However, design improvements are suggested for the submersible switchgear and feeder pillar for better performance during and after flood events.

The brushless doubly-fed machine (BDFM) continues to attract increasing interest for applications in wind generation where, robustness and low servicing costs are its principles advantages. The construction aspect of the BDFM has been widely studied and currently this machine can be build with good performances. However, the control aspect remains difficult to achieve and some studies show that the BDFM is less stable than the doubly-fed induction machine. To explore the BDFM stability in all operating mode, this paper proposes a stability analysis of a grid-connected variable speed wind turbine-based BDFM. For this purpose, a linearized small signals mathematical model is proposed which takes into account both grid and control disturbances. Then, the effect of electrical parameters variation and operating speed change on the stability of the BDFM has been studied. The stability has been investigated through simulation implementation. The obtained results demonstrate the validity and the superiority of the proposed model.

For closed environment, the characteristic is that the confined space is small and it doesn't flow with the outside world, it will produce nausea, dizziness, weakness and other symptoms if one stayed in that environment for long time. For this, developing a monitoring system of air quality in closed environment has theoretical significance and great value. In this paper, a modular design method is used to design a closed air quality monitoring system, The air quality monitoring system is composed of a main board and detection modules. When the measured closed environment is changed, it is only necessary to add or reduce the corresponding detection module, which increases the flexibility of the system and the convenience of later maintenance, and evaluation algorithm based on fuzzy mathematics is established. The measurement and air quality evaluation experiments are carried out using the developed monitoring system, The results show that the air quality evaluation algorithm can effectively evaluate the environmental air quality, and the measurement accuracy of the environmental parameters can meet the relevant standards.

This paper proposes a compact microstrip bandpass filter (BPF) with tunable transmission zeros, narrow bandwidth and low insertion loss. A λ/4 stepped impedance resonator (SIR) with two additional via holes has been adopted to obtain a compact size and a pair of transmission zero (TZ). Furthermore, three techniques have been developed to create a pair of controllable transmission zeros on both side of each passband. The TZ can be controlled by adjusting either magnetic or electric coupling. The measured return losses and insertion loss is larger than 18 dB and 2.2 dB respectively. The overall size of the proposed design filter is 5.3mm x 5.5mm without considering the feeding lines.
