Inconsistencies in the absorption cross section of ozone have been observed. Hence, for accurate measurement, we have reported the combined effects of varying optical path-length and temperature on the ozone gas absorption cross section (OACS) at 334.15nm. Adopting optical absorption spectroscopy, results of the (OACS) have been simulated using spectralcalc simulator with HITRAN 12 has the latest line list. OACS increased by 52.27% as the temperature increased from 100K to 350K while it was slightly affected by a 0.007% decrease varying the path-length from 0.75cm-130cm.

Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs) are advanced network technologies applied to improve safety on roads and to offer suitable solutions for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). The goal of VANETs is to assistdrivers and to act as a smart co-pilot that can alret about accidents and help avoiding them while prodivding high-end infotainment systems for both the driver and passengers. Consequently, VANETs can save millions of lives around the world, especially in Saudi Arabia, which has a very high rate of road accidents annualy. In this paper, we introduce and discuss VANETs, related routing protocols, challenging problems, and the existing solutions. This work is a part of a bigger project that aims to enhance VANETs technologies and to updapteITS to significantly promote road safety in general and Saudi Arabia’s roads in particular.

Metaheuristic algorithms are proven to be more effective on finding global optimum in numerous problems including the constrained optimization area. The algorithms have the capacity to prevail over many deficiencies in conventional algorithms. Besides of good quality of performance, some metaheuristic algorithms have limitations that may deteriorate by certain degree of difficulties especially in real-world application. Most of the real-world problems consist of constrained problem that is significantly important in modern engineering design and must be considered in order to perform any optimization task. Therefore, it is essential to compare the performance of the algorithm in diverse level of difficulties in constrained region. This paper introduces Tree Physiology Optimization (TPO) algorithm for solving constrained optimization problem and compares the performance with other existing metaheuristic algorithms. The constrained problems that are included in the comparison are three engineering design and nonlinear mathematic problems. The difficulties of each proposed problem are the function complexity, number of constraints, and dimension of variables. The performance measure of each algorithm is the statistical results of finding the global optimum and the convergence towards global optimum.

Research about sound processing by computer using fuzzy logic has been known since 1970. One of approach logic fuzzy method is fuzzy mamdani method. Fuzzy mamdani method is the method to give conclusion from groupof rules of fuzzy. There have to be minimum of two rules, input rule and output rule. Sound processing in canaries bierd’s chirp quality can be explained as measurement standar for canary’s bird’s chirp to the point of song variant and volume. The background of this research is to create a sound identification system that uses dynamic data, the pattern of canary’s bird’s chirp obtained from dynamic data.Dynamic data is difficult to approach with certain formulas. The purpose of this research is to create indentification system to measure Canaries bird’s chirp quality pre-contest. The method used in this research was statistic analysis, sound analysis and fuzzy Mamdani method. Statistic analysis was used to look for important features from Canarie’s chirp sample. This analysis results Max amplitude variable, Min amplitude variable, Root-mean square. Then sound analysis results Autocorrelation time, Zero cross and Energy. Then those values were used as the input in fuzzy Mamdani method process. As for the output variables were the judges score result about the quality of bird’ chirp. The results from identification system of bird’s chirp quality from 6 samples are (1). Accuration level 81,67%. (2) Error sytemrate 18,33%. (3). Based on system performance and error rate that have been known can be concluded that the system can indentifyCanarie’s chirp quality well.

The scarcity of energy especially electrical energy is an acute problem and hinders the modern economic development of a country. Most of the time only a small percentage of peoples have access to use continuous electricity supply. But in this modern era, all types of arena like economies, households and companies have extensive demand for electricity which is due to industrialization, extensive urbanization, population growth, rising standard of living and modernization of the agricultural sector of a country. Electricity generation from bio-gas plant through cowdungs of a dairy firm can mitigate the electricity demand to some extends in rural areas, where biogas plant will act act as a backup supply especially during load shedding. This research paper proposed an electricity generation system from bio-gas, which can work as a secondary source of the electricity for all electrical appliances of a particular area in a cost effective manner.

This paper presents a novel data and timed control routing protocol which is Flying Adhoc Network (FANET) specific. The developed FANET specific routing protocol laid emphasis on the route connectivity in the network by considering the captured data size, minimum allowable distance between randomly moving nodes and connection time. The performance of the proposed FANET specific routing protocol was simulated using NS3. The obtained throughput value for the routing protocol fluctuated between 742.064kbps and 755.083kbps as data are exchanged between nodes. This showed that when all the UAVs are on the network and communicating with one another, the throughput is flatline and not plummet. This implies consistency as nodes join and leave the network. The packet delivery ratio obtained for the FSRP during simulation was 96.13%. These results implied that data is successfully transmitted between the UAV acting as server and UAV acting as client on the network.

The aim of this paper is to use a new design of a negative resistance microwave oscillator in order to fabricate oscillator with very good performance in terms of output power, efficiency, stability and phase noise. In this study the new concept of oscillator using distributed resonator and micro-strip circuit elements improve performances of our structure. A micro-strip microwave oscillator with low phase noise based on an NPN silicon planar epitaxial transistor has been designed, fabricated, and characterized. In this design, each step has been conducted by using Advanced Design System (ADS) and following a theoretical study which enable to optimize the different performances of the whole circuit. The oscillator produce a sinusoidal signal with spectrum power of 12.25 dBm at 2.45 GHz into 50 Ω load when polarized at Vcc=15V with DC to RF efficiency of 16. The obtained phase noise of -120 dBc/Hz at 100 Hz offset is the result of the use of high Q factor resonator and the depth study of the parameters of the oscillator. Simulation and measurement results are in good agreement.

A new methodology for the design of adaptive sliding mode control (ASMC) for Asynchronous motor control will be presented in this paper. The sliding mode control (SMC) has become one of the most active branches of control theory that has found successful applications in a variety of engineering systems, such an the electrical motors. The new Adaptive sliding mode control method is compared to other existing techniques. The pros and cons of ASMC controller will be demonstrated by intensive simulation results. It will be shown that the presented controller is with fast tracking capability, less steady state error, and robust to load disturbance.

This paper presents a motion detection method with the use of the Principal Component Analysis. This method is able to detect and track moving objects in a sequence of images. The tested sequence is segmented within the meaning of movement. In this paper, the concept of extracting significant information from a large number of data is adopted to provide an effective method for tracking moving objects on the video image. The principal components are different in term of getting significant information, the nature of motion (the nature of information) is responsible of this difference, the algorithm in this paper distinguish the motion nature and choose the appropriate components to give a best segmentation.

In view of rapid development of computer technology digital systems of automatic control are installed on the modern marine vessels for performance of various manoeuvres at optimal trajectories taking into account features of the ship and active disturbances. In this connection, great number of problems that deal with construction of automatic control systems, such as minimizing the fulfillment time of the maneuver, searching for the optimal trajectory, the suppression of various types of exogenous disturbances like wind and rough sea, arises. In the work, the problem of suppression of exogenous disturbances acting on a marine vessel, about which we have no information except its boundedness, is considered. The problem of searching of the controller as a static state feedback is the basis of offered approach. The system MATLAB-Simulink is accepted as the basic tool of the computer support. An example of modeling control system for the carrier is presented.
