Abstract

Factors viscosity and viscosity of the base oil is the amount of material that must be adapted to the classification engine. Thus the appropriate type of lubricating oil can be used according to the type, performance, and usage requirements. Machines working at high speeds require low viscosity values and vice versa. This study aimed to create a simulation tool to show the value of measuring viscosity oil with a control system that will execute the input data in the form of a timer to be used as viscosity units (km / ms)

Abstract

This study aims to design a car alarm system. The system is designed to be able to sound an alarm (sound) alarm and send an SMS message to a phone alarm car owners. The composition of the car alarm system hardware using AT89S52 microcontroller based SMS in this study, consists of 4 main parts of the circuit, which is a series of minimum system microcontroller, power supply, serial communication, Input / Output. In the text of SMS sent and received from mobile (cell phone) to the SMS center or SMS Center to flow in the form of PDU (Protocol Data Unit). In the SMS format is divided into a number of segments each segment of data that it has a specific purpose. The segments are: sms center number, destination number, the bytes for the purposes of this sms settings and the most important is the content of the text messages that have been modified in the form of a PDU. To be able to send or upload the data sms to mobile phones and ordered it to submit data necessary instructions sms AT Command. The results showed that the performance of the alarm system that is designed to work with either.

Abstract

There are many issues and problems in the brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) area that haven’t solved or reached satisfying result yet. This paper presents an overview of the various issues and problems of the segmentation, correction, optimization, description and their application in MRI. The overview is started by describing the segmentation properties that are the most important and challenging in MRI brain manipulation. Then correction for reconstructing the brain MRI cortex, classification is utilized to classify the segmented brain image, and also review the uses of description is the great prospecting issue while some neurologist need the information resulted from brain imaging process including their potential problems from application applied by each technique. In each case, it is provided some general background information.

Abstract

The 18-pulse converter, using Y or D-connected differential autotransformer, is very interesting since it allows natural high power factor correction. The lowest input current harmonic components are the 17th and 19th. The Transformer is designed to feed three six-pulse bridge rectifiers displaced in phase by 200. This paper present a high power factor three-phase rectifier bases on 3-phase to 9-phase transformer and 18-pulse rectifier. The 9-phase polygon-connected transformer followed by 18-pulse diode rectifiers ensures the fundamental concept of natural power factor correction. Simulation results to verify the proposed concept are shown in this paper.

Abstract

The level of attendance in an institution is very important because the credibility of a person seen from the high level of diligent presence or absence of the person. Like for example in activities at a university, data on the level of attendance of a student in a lecture to be very important because there are professors that considers presence as one of the components in the assessment. However, the system manually presence there it is less effective in storing the data. This study aims to design a system using barcode presence as presensinya data input. Presence system design includes three components namely the barcode found on the student card, barcode scanners Series CD-108E CCD (CCD scanner) and the computer. Attendance management through this system enables the optimization function Student Identity Card (KTM) equipped with a Student Identification Number. Use of this system will facilitate the presence to monitor student attendance mengontrolan the student. Presence system has been tested with several different variations of the KTM through the distance and position of the barcode on the barcode scanner. Test results obtained ideal position to barcode scanners barcode reading is at a distance of 2 cm with an accuracy rate of 100% and at an angle of 900 accuracy rate of 100%.

Abstract

Ozone is one of the favorable oxidant to use in home appliance and industry as disinfectant for food processing, food storage, odor abatement, groundwater remediation, and drinking water purification. The common and previous technical method for generating ozone uses a high voltage and low frequency. This kind of method has disadvantage of energy efficiency, size and weight. This paper proposed the use power electronics in the inverter resonant circuit to produce alternating current with high frequency. The basic RLC resonance circuit is used for early study to determine resonance frequency for inverter. As the result, the ozone chamber terminal voltage had been achieved for initiation by using resonance frequency.

Abstract

In this paper, the design of digital compass with voice output is described, so that the blind can also use it. The digital compass is designed based on up-graded conventional compass. In the axis direction of conventional compass be added a disc as source of wind direction information, and phototransistor as sensor. The digital compass system is designed, based on AT89S52 microcontroller, as control of all interfaces and read sensor. The LCD component is used as display and ISD 2590 IC as voice recorder. The IC can record with maximum capacity 90 seconds. The voices output of compass is divided into 8 direction from the north, southwest, west and the next. The result showed that the design of digital compass work as like conventional compass completely by voice feature.

Abstract

A security has become very important along with the increasing number of crime cases. If some security system fails, there is a need for a mechanism that capable in recording the criminal act. Therefore, it can be used for investigation purpose of the authorities. The objective of this research is to develop a security system using video streaming that able to monitor in real-time manner, display movies in a browser, and record a video as triggered by a sensor. This monitoring system comprises of two security level camera as a video recorder of special events based on infrared sensor that is connected to a microcontroller via serial communication and camera as a real-time room monitor. The hardware system consists of infrared sensor circuit to detect special events that is serially communicated to an AT89S51 microcontroller that controls the system to perform recording process, and the software system consists of a server that displaying video streaming in a webpage and a video recorder. The software for video recording and server camera uses Visual Basic 6.0 and for video streaming uses PHP 5.1.6. As the result, the system can be used to record special events that it is wanted, and can displayed video streaming in a webpage using LAN infrastructure.

Abstract

Multi-relation classifications can be widely used in many disciplines, such as financial decision making, medical research, and geographical applications, and information stored in multiple relations needs to be used in decision making. Crossmine is an efficient and scalable approach for multi-relation classification. Crossmine algoritm has three step, first is find-rules, the rule has been gotten from find a rule process than remove all positif tuples satisfying rule while there are more than ten percent positif tuple left. The second is find a rule, this step has input from the result of find best predicate process, that is the complex predicate with most foilgain. If foilgain value is more than mingain, the predicate is added with rule, and max rule length less than six. Third is find best predicate, in this step we find the best predicate with definition, if the foilgain value more than the max gain value, the predicate will be saved and the bigger gain value will replace the last gain value for next comperative process. In other side, the accuracy is computed from each rule that produce in find rules process. The test for this application use the sum tuple of 200, 500, 1000, 5000 for measuring the level of accuracy from rule which is produced by crossmine algoritm.
