Dinamika Pendidikan (p-ISSN 1907-3720, e-ISSN 2502-5074) is a scientific periodical published by the Department of Economics Education, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Semarang collaborate with Asosiasi Profesi Pendidik Ekonomi Indonesia (ASPROPENDO), Asosiasi Profesi Pendidikan Akuntansi Indonesia (APRODIKSI), Asosiasi Sarjana dan Praktisi Administrasi Perkantoran Indonesia (ASPAPI) with the aim to promote creativity scholarly or academic lecturers from various institutions in general and the community UNNES internal academic specifically. The article published scientific literature contains research results, conceptually as well as reviews of books in the field of economic education, accounting education, and educational administration offices. First published in 2006, published in a year, June and December. Dinamika Pendidikan has become a CrossRef member with DOI prefix: 10.15294. Therefore, all articles published by the journal have unique DOI number. The journal has been also accredited for five years based on The Decree of Directorate General of Research and Development Strengthening, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 48a/E/KPT/2017, dated on October 30th, 2017.

Abstract

The Economics learning in SMP Nasima Semarang did not use an approach which involved students’ roles and potencies. Thus, it needs the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) learning model and Digital Word Square technique through class action research to solve the problem. The data showed that students’ activities such as motivation and activeness on the 1st cycle and 2nd cycle increased significantly. Whereas, the average of evaluation test result on the 1st cycle was 6.00 and rose to 8.57 on the 2nd cycle. It increased up to 29.98%. Based on the data above, It can be seen that the STAD learning model and DigitalWord Square technique was effective to improve students’ competencies to understand the concept of Money and Banks for the 9th Grade of SMP Nasima’s Students in the academic year of 2011/2012.

Abstract

The objectives of the study were to understand (1) students’ understanding about character education after joining the class of teaching-learning strategy of character Accounting, (2) the characters of education students after joining the class of character Accounting. It was a class action research and the respondents were 53 Accounting Education students in the 5th semester. The study was done in 2 cycles. The data were collected by tests and observation and were analyzed by percentage descriptive. The result of study showed that: 1) Students’ understandings of character education increased 27% in the 1st cycle and 39% in the 2nd cycle. 2) The character average of education students was 82.2% in good category.

Abstract

The background of this research was the study result of Accounting subject was unsatisfactory, thus it was needed an appropriate learning strategy. The objective of the research was to improve Accounting’s study result and learning activities through Pre-learning Recitation method. The subjects of the research were XI grade students of IPS 2. It was a class action research with two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages; planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data were collected by tests and analyzed by comparative descriptive and reflection. The result of the study showed that the pre-learning Recitation could improve students’ activities and achievement in both; score and completeness. Based on the first condition of pre-cycle with the KKM (minimum score) 75, it was 51.73% of 29 students for the completeness and the mean was 74.70.  After implementing the method, it was 78.57% of 28 students who completed and the mean was 83.23 in the 1st cycle. Then, it was 92.86% for the completeness and the mean was 89.23 in the 2nd cycle.

Abstract

Implementation of bilingual classroom was the manifestation of internationalization vision of the institution (Unnes) to response to the progress of International Schools (SBI / RSBI). Cost Accounting I was a subject in bilingual class of FE Unnes in 2010/2011. The objective of the study was to explain the effectiveness of peer tutor learning method in Cost Accounting I in Bilingual Class. It was a class action research done in 2 months with 2 cycles. The type of peer tutor learning was tutor to student. The result of research showed that peer tutor learning method of Cost Accounting I in Bilingual Class of FE Unnes was effective. Students’ achievement increased significantly in the first and second cycle. It passes the effectiveness indicator which stated that at least 75% students could get 71. Thus, it is suggested that other types of peer tutor learning method can be investigated empirically for further researches in different designs.

Abstract

The objective of the study was to improve students’ learnig achievement to complete the Accounting cycle at service companies through the guidance techniques of self- contracting and self reinforcement on the 1st semester students of XI PE 3class in SMK Negeri 1 Pemalang in the academic year of 2011/2012. The previous assessments of students’ learning results in completing the Accounting Cycle for service companies showed low average, it was only 65.40, whereas the minimum score was 75. The low achievement could be initiated by students’ low motivation and activities. They were reluctant to study because of the domination of lecturing method. Thus, it was needed a more appropriate method to develop the exemplary, to give motivation, and also to give opportunity for students to be optimal in learning. The learning process through the guidance technique of self- contracting and self reinforcement could increase the students’ achievement with the average of daily score was 75.98, it was higher than the KKM (minimum score) and the students’ completeness was 77.50% which increased about 32.50%

Abstract

The research was inspired by students’ readiness to be Accounting teachers with the rapid progress of science and technology and also free-market for workers. The objective of the study was to test the influence of Accounting learning based on SAK IFRS and self-efficacy toward students’ readiness to be Accounting teachers. The population of the research were Accounting education students in classess of 2010 until 2012. Thus, it used proportionate stratified random sampling. The respondents were 85 students in class 2010, 123 students in class 2011 and 154 students in class 2012. Then, the data were analyzed by percentage descriptive and doubled linear regression. The result of regression analysis showed that 1) Accounting learning based on SAK IFRS and self-efficacy contibuted positively and significantly for 52.4% toward students’ readiness to be Accounting students, 2) there was a positive and significant influence of Accounting learning based on SAK IFRS for 26.2% toward students’ readiness to be Accounting teachers, 3) there was a positive and significant influence of self-efficacy for 16.32% toward students’ readiness to be Accounting teachers. The familiarity level for learning Accounting based on SAK IFRS was high with the progress of science and technology and also full adoption from IFRS.

Abstract

Students’ motivation to learn Economics especially at 10th Grade on the Unit of National Income in SMA N 1 Ungaran in the academic year of 2011/2012 was low. It was only 50% students who got score more than the minimum score (KKM). The research discussed about the effort to improve students’ learning achievement on the unit of National Income through interactive media (ITC) with talking stick learning model. The objective of the class action research was to improve students’ achievement on Economics on the unit of National income. The learning process was done in 2 cycles. Based on the result and discussion, pre-test assessment, 1st cycle test, and 2nd test cycle, the tests showed the increase. There were 16 students (50%) from 32 students who completed the competencies on the pre-test, then it increased to 25 students (78.13%) on the 1st cycle and finally all students (100%) completed the competencies on the 2nd cycle. Furthermore, students’ motivation based on the questionnaire showed that there were 84.39% students agreed and 15.61% disagreed on the 1st cycle. Then, it increased to 93.75% on the 2nd cycle. Whereas, the observation on the 1st cycle showed that there were less motivated students and after joining to the 2nd cycle, almost all students were more active so the study result increased.

Abstract

The study was inspired by some phenomena such as; the low quality of education in Indonesia, the high unemployment of Vocational high schools graduates and the measurement of school’s productivity which only was seen by the numbers of graduates. The objective of the study was to find the contribution of teachers’ competencies, the culture of school organization, the financing of education, the leadership of the principal, the roles of school committee would influence simultaneously and partially toward the process quality and productivity of vocational high schools based on business-management in Semarang. The respondents were 138 Vocational High Schools teachers based on Business and Management in Semarang. The data were collected by questionnaire, documentation and interview. They were analyzed by doubled regression. The result showed that the culture of organization, the leadership of the principal, and the school committee gave positive influence simultaneously   toward the process quality and school productivity. Whereas, the teachers’ competencies and the financing of the school did not give any influence toward the process quality and the school productivity.
