Abstract

This study examines the implementation of active learning strategy by using Have Student Question type, aiming to increase students interest and appreciation towards national music, especially on the basis of national competence. The approach used for the research , which is implemented with two cycles, and each cycle consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted in Pemalang Junior High School 7. The data collection techniques used in this research was quantitative and qualitative data which includes the test results of students learning, the observation of students and the implementation of the learning process, as well as students interest questionnaire. The results shows significant increase in interest and appreciation of national music learning outcomes in the eighth grade students of Pemalang Junior High School 7, academic year of 2012-2013. This is proven from the results of student learning on the pre cycle which was only 37.5%, then increased to 65% on the first cycle, and finally reached 82.5% on the second cycle. The improvement was highly visible, from 10% on the pre cycle, 50% on the first cycle, and 80% on the second cycle .To improve students learning outcomes and students interest in learning, the teachers need to prepare in advance: ( a) Lesson Plan, (b) learning materials, (c) the methods or strategies that will be used, (d) tools or instructional media, (e) control of classroom management, (f) evaluation sheet.

Abstract

One of the subjects who had a goal guarding behavior in the learning process of students on campus is MKU (General Courses). And one of the common subjects are Islamic Education (PAI). With subjects such PAI sincerely hope college students to be able to color the character better. Hope is certainly not to blame, but please note that in the process of PAI college is not easy to carry out the mandate in order to make students become better morals. Because the process involves a lot of things, as in educational theory that there are several factors that affect learning, including students, teachers, objectives, content, and the environment. The results of this study indicate that some of the services that it is considered satisfactory academic student in university classes FIP UNNES PAI is mastery of the material by lecturers and professors appearance and acceptance of lecturers to students. Services that still needs improvement is the presence of a lecturer at the college, faculty understanding of the condition of the course students conformity with the plan of activities, evaluation and feedback, availability syllabus and plan learning activities and the provision of reference books.

Abstract

Development model of study aimed to describe: level of identifying the meaning of welfare family; determinant of welfare family; needs analysis for poor family through FGD. The result of FGD then would be the foundation of planning the textbook and education model for poor family in village area. The subject of this study was 61 poor families in Wonosobo by the particular consideration of local government.The result of the study showed that the level of understanding the family welfare for poor family was Good with the percentage of 18.4%; Average of 52.0%; Fair of 20.9%; Poor of 8.7%. The determinants of family welfare based on the highest mean score for each indicator were: Praying (mean=3.48); Children Education (mean=3.30); Husband-wife communication (mean=3.16); The major determinant was prayer. On the other hand, the textbook material refer to the result of FGD such as: the identification of education and family welfare; interrelationship in the family; parent’s role in educating the children; family financial control; safety and health plan. From the result of the study, it is suggested that Local Government provide both formal and informal education facilities for poor family; Increase the quantity of teaching learning process and workshop especially for creative food processing to poor family. For poor family in village area, it is suggested that they have to improve their knowledge about family welfare.
