Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the influence of company size, profitability, and financial leverage on earnings smoothing practice at companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. A number of samples are the 22 manufacturing companies and generate 132 observations. These samples are chosen by purposive sampling method since 2009 up to 2011. Earning smoothing practice calculated with Eckel Index. This Index is a model that can estimate that company done earnings smoothing practice. It is calculated from deviation standard of income delta to sales delta. Analyzing use binary Logistic regression because the dependent variable is a dummy. Goodness of fit test used hosmer and lemeshow and the result fit. The outcome of research showed that for partial testing for company size that proxy by the natural logarithm of total assets, profitability proxy by Return on Assets (ROA) and Financial Leverage proxy by Debt to Total Assets (DTA) individually significant influence the practice of smoothing earnings. Simultaneous testing used the omnibus test also reached the same conclusion. Keywords: company size, profitability, financial leverage and earnings smoothing practice

Abstract

The purpose of this reserach was to analyze Influence Consumer Motivation, Quality Perception, Consumer Attitudes and Purchase Price Decision about Purchasing Decision Nissan Grand Livina Cars at The Dealer Center of Nissan Motor Indonesia Corporation in M.T. Haryono Kav.10, East Jakarta . The method used in this research is Surveying Method using a Questionnaires. The analysis tool used is multiple linear regression. The results from this research showed that the Purchasing Decision Nissan Grand Livina Cars at The Dealer Center of Nissan Motor Indonesia Corporation in M.T. Haryono Kav.10, East Jakarta influenced by the Consumer Motivation, Perceived Quality, Consumer Attitudes, and Price. The biggest factor affecting the purchase decision is price. Abstract

Considerations to be made by marketers in selecting endoser a product other products form the basis of this study. This study aims to determine the effect attributes (performance) endorser of the brand awareness Tukul Arwana in advertising XL. This research is a survey with a sample of the overall amount to 120 respondents. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data collection instruments such as questionnaires and analysis tools used multiple linear regression. Based on the results of this study concluded that there was a significant relationship between dimensions Credibility Celebrity, Celebrity and Celebrity Suitability Attractivenes simultaneously to Brand awareness of society who view the ads of XK in Tukul Arwana version. Abstract

The result of multiple linear regression analysis that the variable use of information technology is the most dominant influence on employee performance, with a value of 0.362. T-test results known significant value of each variable of work motivation, work ethic and utilization of information technology smaller than significant level, which means significantly. While working culture variables obtained sig. 0.562> a significant level of  (0.05) which means insignificant. F-test is based on the results of data analysis known Fhitung = 50.835, which means that simultaneously there is a significant influence. R2 test result was 0,879, meaning the ability of the work culture variable, work motivation, work ethic and utilization of information technology in explaining variable employee performance amounted to 87.9%, while the remaining 12.1% is influenced by other variables that are not described in this model, among others, the working environment and leadership. Abstract

This study aims are to investigate the influence of cultural factors, social factors, personal factors and psychological factors on purchase decision in Indomaret Surakarta. Analysis using multiple linear regression, F test, t test, test the coefficient of determination (R2). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that all variables figures obtained positive coefficient. The test results (F) indicates that the variable cultural factors, social factors, personal factors and psychological factors together influence the purchasing decisions in Indomaret Surakarta. T test results showed that the variables of individual factors and psychological factors significantly influence purchasing decisions while variable cultural factors and social factors do not significantly influence the purchasing decision. To test the R2 (coefficient of determination) indicates that the variable cultural factors, social factors, personal factors and psychological factors were able to explain the variability of the variable of 39.8%. While the remaining 60.2% is explained by other variables outside the model. Keywords: cultural factors, social factors, personal factors, psychological factors.

Abstract

This study aims are to determine how financial statements used as a tool of accountability of businessmen. This study uses primary data. The population in this study are the businessmen in Surakarta. While the sample are the businessmen who engaged in services and trade in Surakarta. Samples were selected using proportional random sampling. The analysis uses percentages.The results showed that the majority of businesses in Surakarta are familiar with the financial statements and has been implementing the financial statements as a liability. Although they present the financial statements in the form of incomplete financial statements. Financial reports they use to facilitate calculating the level of profitability (profit company) and the company's level of risk.
