Abstract

Morfologi infleksional adalah pnoses morfemis yang diterapkan pada kata sebagai unsur leksikal yang sama. Berbeda dengan derivasi yang mengubah identitas leksikal seluruh kata, maka pada injleksioan identitas kata tidak berubah atau tetap dipertahankan. Jadi semua proses morfemis termasuk ke dalam morfologi injleksional selama identitas leksikalnya dipertahankan. Morfo/ogi injleksional dalam bahasa Jawa meliputi afiksasi kategori pra-D, -e, -mu, ku, verba I dan verba JI yang ditandai dengan tidak terdapatnya kategori pasif di- D, adjektiva. Di samping itu morfologi injleksional juga terdapat pada reduplikasi.   Kata kunci: infleksional, afiksasi, derivasi, reduplikasi, morfologi

Abstract

Literatury work is created by the autherthrough contemplation, it means it is not created through blank idea. It can be said that literary work is created through yhe combination of knowledge of the author and his soul experience as the feflections of real human life novel "Larung" has a very strong and extra ordinary soul relation, especially it is because it is based on events of Indonesian historical life; the strength and weaknesses. All  of  the  events  are  composed in  the  story,  either  traditional  or modern one. Abstract

I conducted the study to depict the casual conversations outside the class and aspects of communicative competence of fifth semester students of Education and Teachers Training Faculty, University of Tidar Magelang. The campus was chosen to be the setting of the study. When conversations progressed however some students tended not to prolong the conversation because of their incapability of using speech functions. The problem statements of the study are: what speech functions are displayed  in students  casual conversations, how are conversations between students structured, and what negotiation techniques are mostly used by the students to sustain their conversations. The  data  analysis  was  based  on  the  concept  of speech functions network which is proposed by Eggins and Slades. Concerning speech function, interaction in terms of conversation might be organized into opening, continuing, and sustaining which covers responding and rejoinder.   Key words: analysis, casual, conversation

Abstract

The study of morphosyntactic on the use of Indonesia language is the study of significance unit of morphological process that is influenced by the predicative phrase of syntaxtic. The study  on  syntagmatic refers to (1) fixation including  analogy, thematic, topication of constituent, verbal attraction, and (2) condensation. The integrity of affix morpheme with a lexical item in the beginning of predicative phrase  is paradigmatic grammatication. Keyswords : morphosyntactic, syntagmatic, paradigmatic, predicafive phrase.

Abstract

Verbs with her- being intransitive ones in bahasa Indonesia have special attitudes. In one hand, the verbs with ber-, the filler of predicate in use, tend to be followed by constituents of nominal category, so that the constructions seen like having structure of P-0, for example: bertanam padi. In other hand, there are verbs with ber­ having no  direct correlation with the constituents of nominal categories, so that these need prepositional phrase (FP) in forming one construction being a structure of accept6mce one, for example: Adik bertengkar dengan temannya. The specification and the tendency of verbs with ber- the filler of predicate for constructing verbs with her- having preposition of dengan will be discussed in this research. Abstract

Teaching writing is not as easy as we think. The lecturer needs a certain way to teach writing, especially in the university level. The students ability in writing a text type especially a report depends on how they express their ideas. That is why the writer applies thematic progression  as the approach in teaching report genre. The subject of this research is the third  semester students of the English Department, Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, Tidar University of Magelang which take writing 2 subject in the afternoon class. There  are  two  instruments  of  this  research;   they  are  students paragraph   in about  a  hundred  words  and  questionnaire  (closed­ended questions that is questions on questionnaire that limit possible responses by providing specific choices or option yes or no). The first instrument (students paragraphs) and the second instrument (questionnaire) will be analyzed quantitatively. The students paragraphs were analyzed according to the rubric scoring that refers to analytic scoring. In this action research the writer applies three things; they are pre-test, test in cycle I and post-test in cycle 2. After analyzing students writing, it can be concluded that the use of thematic progression is really needed in teaching writing. It proved that the mean score of each cycle is slowly increased In .the pre-test, students just write a report paragraph  without knowing how to develop their ideas. In cycle 1, students get a new way in writing a report paragraph by using thematic progression. While in cycle 2, the students are trained in applying thematic progression. Besides, students’ motivation and seriousness in learning writing improve. They have good encouragement after getting the treatment. Key Word: ability, theme, rheme, thematic progression, report

Abstract

Mendengarkan adalah salah satu kemampuan yang harus dimiliki  oleh  siswa.  Banyak  siswa  yang  sangat  kurang  dalam kemampuan mendengarkan. Mereka mendengarkan sambil memikirkan sesuatu hal lain. Selain itu mereka membuat kesimpulan sendiri menurut sudut pandang mereka tanpa mendengarkan keseluruhan percakapan dengan teliti. Mendengarkan secara aktif merupakan salah satu teknik mendengarkan dan merespon dengan tepat disertai dengan pemahaman yang penuh tentang topik yang dibicarakan. Mendengarkan secara aktif merupakan bentuk  mendengarkan yang telah terstruktur dan pemberian respon yang berfokus pada pembicara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah perbedaan yang signifikan  antara  siswa  yang  diajar menggunakan teknik mendengarkan secara aktif dengan  siswa yang diajar dengan teknik mendengarkan konvensional. Penulis menggunakan  teknik  analisa  komparatif  Charles  Spearman untuk mengukur hasil tes mendengarkan kedua kelompok siswa tersebut. Setelah melaksanakan   penelitian,  penulis menyimpulkan bahwa teknik mendengarkan secara aktif terbukti dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mendengarkan siswa.  Ini terbukti dengan nilai Tata-rata mendengarkan siswa di kelompok eksperimen meningkat dari 34,75 (pre-test) menjadi 68, 15 (post-test). Dengan teknik  mendengarkan secara aktif,  s1swa dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mendengarkan mereka. Key word: Listening, Listening  Comprehensior,, Active Listening Technique

Abstract

Banyumas is one of the Javanese dialect which is used by the society lived in the west part of Central Java. It is different from standard Java language that mainly used in Solo and Yogyakarta. Dialectical differences can be explained by  wave  theory,  that  language development can spread in waves, so there are innovative and conservative areas. This means that the areas which are close with the center of culture and the one that become the center of linguistics will have more similarities of language variety than those ones farer. It concerns with the growth of Banyumas dialect used by the society is not affected by the development of Standard dialect of Javanese. Keywords : Banyumas dialect, standard Java language, and the wave theory.
