Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find variable brand image having influence Purchase Decision of Smartphone Android Samsung in Palembang City both in partial and simultaneous. The theory that is concerned with image was Brand Image, which includes 3 things that are Favorability of Brand Association, Strength of Brand Association, and Uniqueness of Brand Association. Samples taken are 100 people which is users of Smartphone Android Samsung, any kind of type, male and female, aged approximately 17-60 years old, and living in Palembang with data collection method is interview. The instrument of analysis used to answer the purpose research in the top is multiple linear regressions. Simultaneously the result of the research is variable brand image affect on Purchase Decision. Partially, this research result indicates thatStrength of Brand Association is significantly on purchase decision. The findings which were found is that there is no significant influence between Favorability of Brand Association and Uniqueness of Brand Association againts Purchase Decision. Abstract

The purposes of this research is to determine the effect of the implementation of safety management systems and occupational health (SMK3) towards the performance of employees at the power plant-CNG Jakabaring (case study on PT. Daruma Mitra Alam) .PT. Darum Mitra Alam has a special department that handles about occupational safety and health (K3) called as HSE department (Health, Safety, Environment). To analyze the data, researchers used descriptive analysis containing any statements from each variable, then the simple linear regression analysis along with hypothesis testing. Simple regression result indicates that the value of R square is 0.191, thus SMK3 variables could explain the variable Employee Performance by 19.1%. Based on these results, we can conclude that SMK3 (X) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y) on PT. Daruma Mitra Alam. Keywords: SMK3, Employee Performance, and HSE

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of current ratio, debt to equity ratio, and BOPO of capital adequacy ratio with return on assets as intervening variable in Islamic Banks Company’s in Indonesia on quarterly 2010-2013 period. The population were all Islamic Bank in Indonesia listed on the Indonesia Bank as many as 11 Islamic Banks. The sample is as many as seven Islamic Banks that the result in which using purposive sampling metods. Analysis technique is used path analysis. The results of the study shown that partially Current Ratio is positive and insignificant effect on ROA, DER is positive and significant effect on ROA, BOPO is negative and insignificant effect on ROA, CR, DER, and ROA is positive and significant effect on CAR, BOPO is negative and insignificant on CAR, ROA have mediating effect on relationship between CR on CAR, ROA have mediating effect on relationship between DER on CAR, ROA did not have mediating effect on relationship between BOPO on CAR. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh brand image dan kualitas produk secara parsial dan simultan terhadap keputusan pembelian (y) konsumen Pizza Hut di kota Palembang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 105 konsumen yang pernah melakukan pembelian produk Pizza Hut di kota Palembang minimal dalam satu tahun terakhir. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah metode purposive sampling. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dan uji asumsi klasik dengan bantuan program SPSS 16,0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan (uji F) keputusan pembelian dapat dipengaruhi oleh semua variabel independen dan secara parsial menunjukkan hanya variabel kualitas produk (𝑥2) yang berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian(y) sedangkan variabel brand image(𝑥1) tidak berpengaruh. Variabel kualitas produk (𝑥2) memiliki tingkat signifikasi sebesar 0.000 sedangkan variabel brand image tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikasi terhadap keputusan pembelian (y) karena dilihat dari tingkat sig t yaitu 0.090 lebih besar dari 0.05. Dengan koefesien determinasi R Square (R2) sebesar 30,9% yang berarti variable keputusan pembelian (y) dapat dipengaruhi oleh kedua variabel independen sedangkan sisanya 69,1% dijelaskan oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak dijelaskan dalam penelitian ini. Pihak manajemen Pizza Hut disarankan untuk terus melakukan pembaruan kualitas citra perusahaan dan citra merek agar dapat membentuk persepsi yang positif dimata pelanggan, sehingga dapat membantu menjaga citra perusahaan dan mampu meningkatan penjualan. Abstract

Competence for batik Jambi entrepreneurs in micro and small-sized enterprises (MSEs) have given much attention, regarding to performance of batik Jambi entrepreneurs are decrease. This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of competence to performance of entrepreneur batik Jambi in micro and small-sized enterprises (MSEs) at region of Seberang Jambi City. This study used cencus as the sample collection method, in which the entire amount of the population used as samples. Data had been collected through distribution of questionnaires and interview. Analysis of data in this study used simple linear regression method with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics Version 22. The results of the analysis indicate that the value of R Square of 0,131, which means that competence variable was able to explain the performance variable of 13,1%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that competence has a positive and significant influence to performance of entrepreneurs batik Jambi in micro and small-sized enterprises (MSEs) at region of Seberang Jambi City.Therefore, competence is very important to improve the performance of batik Jambi entrepreneurs in micro and small size enterprises (MSEs).Keywords : Competence, Performance
