Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of motivation and work dicipline on the performance of Kesatrian  senior high school teachers Semarang under the principals leadership as a moderation variable. In this research, the population is about 101 respondents and uses explanatory research with the criteria of Kesatrian 2 Senior High School’s teachers Semarang. The measurement use a likert scale of five alternative answers. Test instruments being used are validity and reliability, while normality test uses Kolmogorov Smirnov Statistic Test. Heteroskedasrisitas Test using Glejser method, the test model use the coefficient of determination (Adjust R Square) and F test (Good ness of Fit), whereas hypothesis test uses regression analyze with t-test on significant rate 0f 0,05. Based on the results of the study, it can be summarized as follows:  Motivation has positif and signification effect on teacher performance, Work Discipline has positif and signification effect on teacher performance, The principal leadership doesn’t have  effect on teacher performance, The principal leadership role doesn’t moderate  influence of motivation on teacher performance, and  The principals leadership role doesn’t moderate  influence work discipline on teacher performance Keywords: Principal Leadership, Motivation, Discipline, and  Teachers   Performance

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the factors that cause  stacking of utilization and impact caused by the stacking of budget utilization as well as to find a solution that must be done so that budget utilization in Central Java province SKPDs (local government working units) more effectively. Research technique used is quantitative descriptive method. The sample was 50 SKPDs  in the Regional Government of Central Java Province. The data was collected using a Likert scale questionnaire 1-5. The data testing method used is validity testing by factor analysis, reliability test with Cronbach Alpha, and statistical description of the variables. The Results of the analysis and discussion showed that the most important factors causing the low budget utilization in SKPDs in Central Java province is the procurement of goods and services, including: 1) officials of procurement of goods and services that was too cautious in taking action led to extending the processing time; 2) the reluctance to become officials of the procurement of goods and services that is considered high risk concerning legal proceedings. Suggestions can be submitted to the Government of Central Java Province are: to distribute employees who have a certificate of  the procurement of goods and services evenly to all departments; speed up the procurement process, and conduct procurement certification training in the earlier of  year. Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the impact of leadership and motivation towards Bank Jateng employees performance in Semarang, and job satisfaction as an intervening variable. This research is a quantitative research using analytical survey approach. The Population of this research are Bank Jateng employees in the city of Semarang, Central Java. The sampling method used in this research is purposive sampling technique, and the obtained sample was 134. Data collection using Likert scale 1-5 closed questionnaire. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and path analysis. The results showed that: leadership and motivation have significant positive impact on job satisfaction of employees at the Bank Jateng in Semarang. Leadership, motivation and job satisfaction have significant positive effect on the performance of employees at the Bank Jateng in Semarang. Job satisfaction is not as an intervening variable in the relationship between leadership and motivation towards Bank Jateng employees performance in Semarang. Abstract

This study to examine the influence of motivation and empowerment on performance by mediating organizational commitment. Specific objectives of this study is to examine and analyze whether the mediating role of organizational commitment and empowerment motivational influence on performance. Usefulness of the research is to explain and extend previous research on the influence of motivation, empowerment, and organizational commitment to performance. The study population is an employee Dipertanhut Pemalang as many as 178 people and as many as 178 sample respondents. The research data is the primary data obtained directly from the respondents with the questionnaire. Method research approach with computer software SPSS for Windows version 16. The method of data analysis using Regression Mediation Analisys (MRA) type path analysis. The results showed an interesting empirical conditions to be further investigated as follows: Motivation did not  significant impact on organizational commitment; Empowerment positive and significant impact on organizational commitment; Motivation positive and significant effect on kenerja; Empowerment positive and significant effect on the performance; organizational commitment positive and significant effect on the performance; organizational commitment did not mediate the effect of motivation on performance, and organizational commitment did not mediate the effect of empowerment on performance. Abstract

Abstract

This research investigates the effect of job satisfaction, organizational commitment on employee performance by using Person-Organization Fit as moderating role in PT. HM Putra Sampoerna of Central Java and DIY. The respondent of this research is the employees of PT. HM Sampoerna Putra of Central Java and DIY those are of 120 employees consist of 5-10 years job tenure are 69 employees (57,5%), 11-15 years job tenure are 19 employees (15,8%) and more than 15 years job tenure are 5 employees (4,2%). This research uses proportionate random sampling and multiple linier regression by using SPSS. The result shows that Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment positively and significantly influence Employee Performance, and Person-Organization Fit as Moderating variable moderates the relationship between Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment on Employee Performance. This research managerial implication is the salary adjustment to full fill economic needs, and feel satisfy to the leader support which can increase the employee performance. Managerial must keep and improve the salary adjustment system, leader support to increase the employee performance in PT. Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Empowerment and Job Characteristics on employee performance through Mediation Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) (Studies in the Department of Public Works Rembang). This study used a sample of 149 respondents, with tenure from less than 5 tahunsampai more than 15 years, and the respondents educational level ranging from elementary school to the S-2. Engineering test data used in this study include testing the validity of the KMO value requires variable empowerment, job characteristics, organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and the performance of employees is greater than 0.5, reliability testing by requiring Cronbachs alpha greater than 0.7, multiple regression analysis and t test to test and prove the research hypothesis, and test mediation aims to find out if there is mediation or not. The data is processed using analytical technique with the help of Statistical package for the Socialsciencess (SPSS). The results showed that the partial influence of independent variables on the dependent variable showed that; (1) that empowerment has a positive impact and no significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB; (2) Characteristics of work has positive and significant influence on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB; (3) empowerment has a positive impact and no significant effect on employee performance; ( 4) Characteristics of the work has a positive and significant influence on employee performance; (5) Organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) has a significant negative influence on employee performance. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of job characteristics and psychological capital on the job performance  with motivation as  mediator and organization culture as moderator in Rembang District Secretariat Apex . The population in this study is the civil service of Rembang District Secretariat Apex that amounts to 208 people.  This study  use purposive sampling and it was given 109 people .This study using statistical tests that include validity test with factor analysis, reliability test using Cronbachs alpha, double regression analysis, and significance test using the coefficient of determination  to prove the validity of hypothesis and for mediation tests and also moderation tests. The results of this study correctly proved that the influence of job characteristics, psychological capital and motivation is positive and significant to job performance . Mediating  test proved that the effects of job characteristics and psychological capital on the job performance are not mediated by motivation . Moderating test proved that the effect of psychological capital on the job performance is moderated by organization culture but also moderating test proved that the effect of job characteristics and motivation on the job performance are not moderated by organization culture. Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of motivation and dicipline on teacher performance with organizational culture variabel moderating. The population in this study is the elementary teachers, in Gunem  Rembang many as 113 responden. Data were collected using a questionnaire, after which the data were processed using SPSS 17. Test instruments used are validity and reliability . While ui model used is the coefficient of determination and test F  . Test this hypothesis using regression analysis. Result of research analysis express that motivation has positive influence and significant to teacher performance, dicipline doesn”t positive influence and significant to teacher performance, organizational culture doesn”t positive influence and significant to teacher performance, organizational commitment has variabel moderating.
