Abstract

Purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the effect of teacher competence and school leadership on teacher performance withmediation work motivation in SMP Negeri Sub Rayon 05 Semarang, total population of 161 respondents using a 5 point likert scale questionnaire. The result showed (1) Teacher competence has positive and significant effect on work motivation (2) Principal leadership does not effect on work motivation (3) Teacher competency do not effect the teachers performance (4) Principal leadership has positive and significant effect on teacher performance (5) Work motivation has positive and significant effect on teacher performance (6) The relationship of teacher competence directly effect the performance of the teacher so do not need the mediation of work motivation (7) Relationship principal leadership directly effects the teacher performance through the mediation of work motivation. Abstract

The objective of the study was to determine the effect of organizational culture and work motivation on teacher performance mediate job satisfaction in SMP Negeri Sub Rayon 05 Kota Semarang, involving 175 teachers as respondents consisting of junior high school teachers in Sub Rayon 05 in Kota Semarang. Methods of data collection using the primary data, as many as 175 questionnaires distributed to respondents, whereas 161 were returned. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 19. The results showed that organizational culture had a significant positive effect on job satisfaction and teacher performance, motivation had a significant positive effect on job satisfaction and teacher performance, job satisfaction had a significant positive effect on teacher performance and job satisfaction mediates the effect of organizational culture on teacher performance, but job satisfaction did not mediate the work motivation on teacher performance. Abstract

Research objectives: 1) The effect of teacher competence on job satisfaction, 2) effect of teacher competence on teacher performance, 3) The effect of work motivation on job satisfaction, 4) The effect of work motivation on performance, 5) The effect of job satisfaction on performance, 6) Analyze satisfaction mediate the competence of teachers working on teacher performance, 7) Analyze job satisfaction mediates the motivation to work on the performance of teachers.The population in this study 161 teachers of SMP 05 Semarang Sub Rayon. and use the sample questionnaires and questionnaires. Methods of processing and analyzing data using descriptive and multiple linear regression with SPSS 20The results prove that 1) the competence of teachers and a significant positive effect on job satisfaction with great influence 40.2%, 2) There is a significant effect between the competence of teachers on teacher performance by 65.6%, 3) There is a significant effect between work motivation on job satisfaction is at 38.8%, 4) There is a significant effect between work motivation on the performance of 41.9%, 5) There is a significant effect between job satisfaction on performance that is equal to 57.8%, 6) does not prove that mediating role of job satisfaction job motivation on teacher performance Keywords: Teacher Competence, Work Motivation, Teacher Performance, Mediation Job Satisfaction

Abstract

This research is explanatory (explanatory research), the research aimed to clarify the causal relationship between the study variables and test hypotheses about the influence of teacher competence on Teacher Performance, Work Environment influence on teacher performance, the influence of the principals leadership on teacher performance, the role of Work environment on the relationship of Teachers’ Competence and Performance, the role of the Principal Leadership on relationship of Teachers’ Competence and Teacher Performance in Madrasah Aliyah Private Sub Sayung Demak.Respondents in this study were all teachers of Madrasah Aliyah Private Sub Sayung Demak regency were 169 respondents from 8 Madrasah Aliyah. This study uses sampling with purposive sampling method, the sample taken based on the criteria that have been certified, a total of 55 respondents. To test the hypothesis, the empirical model of moderation quasi linear regression with the independent variables they are Teacher Competence, Work Environment, Principal Leadership, Relationship of Teacher Competence and Work Environment, Relationship of Principal Leadership and Teacher Competence and dependent variable is Teacher Performance.From the test results, the mean value of the regression variables and interactions for moderating variables obtained coefficient of determination (adjusted R square ) of 0.705, meaning that 70.5 % change in the dependent variable can be explained by the interaction of the independent variables. Results of data analysis showed that there were no significant effects between Teacher Competence and teachers’ Performance, there is a significant but negative influence between work Environmental with teachers Performance, there is a positive and significant effect between the Principal Leadership on Teacher performance, work environment and significantly weaken moderate relationship between teacher competence with teacher performance, and reinforce moderate the Principal Leadership of relationship between teacher competencies on teacher performance. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the effect of competence, Job Stress and organization culture on teacher performance, as well as the moderating role of organization culture in relation competencies and job stress on teacher performance.The population in this study is teachers at Vocational high school state (SMK) in sub rayon 01 SMK Kota Semarang, amounting to 248 people. Samples were analyzed is 131 respondents. Nonprobability sampling technique using for make sampling with convinience sampling techniques. Methods of data collection were performed using a questionnaire with a scale linkert in the range 1-7. The data is processed and analyzed primary data derived from responses to questionnaires by respondents. Testing the validity and reliability of the instrument through. Analysis of the data using linear regression.The results showed that competence does not affect the performance of teachers. Job stress is a significant negative effect on teacher performance. Organization culture does not affect the performance’s teacher. Organizational culture did not moderate the relationship with teacher performance competency, but moderate relationship with job stress weaken the role of teacher performance relationship. Abstract

Hospital has a social function. Beside That, hospital has economic function aimed at obtaining profits. With the increasing number of existing hospitals and increasing the range of services provided by various hospitals, it made increasingly add to the competition in the healthcare business also. RS Bhayangkara Semarang which incidentally is type B hospital which was established to serve the interests of the health of police officers in particular and society in general are required to serve consumers ( patients ) as well as possible. With this study writer expect RS Bhayangkara Semarang can improve their services and to compete with other hospitals in an effort to serve the needs of society in terms of health . This study aims to analyze quality of service and rates provided by RS Bahyangkara Semarang as independent variables on satisfaction , loyalty and commitment relational RS Bhayangkara Semarang as the dependent variable. Sampling technique taken with accidental sampling , with the population is a member of the Police. Observed samples taken while the patient is ambulatory and inpatient . While the number of samples taken amounted to 119 pieces . From the data analysis it can be concluded ( 1 ) the quality of services and rates have a positive effect on patient satisfaction ( 2 ) the higher patient satisfaction , the loyalty will increase ( 3 ) the higher patient satisfaction , the relational commitment will increase ( 4 ) more high loyalty , then the relational commitment will increase. Abstract

Human needs are always developing in accordance with the developments of technology and communication. The high number of BlackBerry users in Indonesia is an interesting phenomenon when compared to mobile phone users in developed countries. On one side consumers are not those who need BlackBerry as a push mail device, on the other hand the name of BlackBerry in Indonesia is very dominant and has very strong brand equity if it is compared to other mobile phone brands. Semarang has a relatively high number of BlackBerry users. But social fact shows that BlackBerry is only reachable for the middle to upper class segment. Thus, Chinese mobile phone manufacturers take an attitude by launching mobile phone which has the same features as BlackBerry that is Blackberry Black Market or BlackBerry BM in brief. As a follower product, it always appears the same features with the pioneer products which are often sold but it has 50% lower price. Same features and cheaper price become the mainstay for China mobile phone (BM) to cut the growth in modern mobile phone sales such as authorized BlackBerry product. In accordance with the phenomenon of declining BlackBerry sales growth, it is presumably caused by low brand loyalty and equity.The population in this study is all BlackBerry users in Semarang but the amount is not known precisely. While the samples are taken by using purposive sampling method that is sampling method based on specific criteria. This study establishes minimum criteria by coming twice and making an appointment with 3 Service Centres. This is done because the measurement of service quality has the indicators of timeliness in fulfilling the appointment with the customers. Based on the service center data there are 117 customers who had come at least twice to the BlackBerry service center.Based on the analysis that has been conducted before, this study concluded ;( 1 ) it is proven that Brand image gives positive effect on brand loyalty , it means that a better brand image will increase the brand loyalty,( 2 ) Service quality gives positive effect on brand loyalty ,it means a better service quality will increase brand loyalty, ( 3 ) Perceived value has positive effect on brand loyalty , it means the better perceived value, the better brand loyalty , and ( 4 ) brand loyalty gives positive effect on brand equity , thus, a better brand loyalty will improve the brand equit Keywords: brand image, service quality, perceived value, brand loyalty and brand equity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to examine the influence of education and training, social capital and organizational commitment to employee job satisfaction Secretariat General Affairs Section Regional Secretariat of Central Java Province. To examine the effect of organizational commitment mediates the influence of education and training in employee job satisfaction and organizational commitment mediates the effect of social capital on job satisfaction of employees of General Affairs Section Regional Secretariat of Central Java Province. In this study population used is the General Affairs Section Secretariat of Central Java province, amounting to 130 people. The samples are part of the population that is used as an object of research headcount above 130 people. The determination of the number of samples by using purposive sampling technique sapling which means sampling based on certain criteria that an employee who has a minimum term of 5 years . Based on these criteria produced a sample of 110 respondents. Pursuant to result of research which have been conducted by hence can know by training and education have an effect on positive to organizational commitment. Social capital have an effect on to organizational commitment. Training education have an effect on positive to satisfaction of job. Social capital have an effect on to satisfaction of job. Organizational Commitment have an effect on to satisfaction of job. Organizational Commitment do not education mediate and training to satisfaction work because indirect influence smaller than at direct influence. Abstract

The purpose of this study to examine the effect of transformational leadership and empowerment on organizational commitment through employee satisfaction. The study was conducted by taking object on the employees in the Department of Industry of Central Java Province. Data was collected using surveys, using purposive sampling, with the minimum criteria tenure of 3 years, which amounts to 85 people. Analysis of Linear Regression is used. The hypothesis has been demonstrated only 4 of 5 hypothesis, so there are 1 unsupported hypothesis. The study found that organizational commitment can be achieved in two ways, namely (1) is influenced directly by the leadership, it means that transformational leaders may have reflected the intellectual stimulation turns will be able to create organizational commitment (2) indirectly affected by empowerment through job satisfaction, meaning when employees feel empowered they will feel satisfied of the work, so that they will commit to the organization.
