Abstract

Warehouse has a broad meaning and is more than just storage, but has more function than that such as receipt of goods,  placement of goods, arrangement of stock, the movement of goods, the release of goods, delivery of goods which are all required software to assist in the process of the above. Warehouse management System is a key element in the supply chain, where the main goal is to control all the process that occure in it such as shipping, receiving, storage, movement and retrieval. With Warehouse Management System we can control the process of moving and storage with better use of warehouse space to be optimize, improving the effectiveness of the process of acceptance and delivery as well as knowing the amount of stock with greater accuracy at any time.

Abstract

People can start with "bring your own shopping bag" as a green purchasing behavior to build the awareness of reduce the usage of plastic bags in order to protect the environment. There are some predictors that can be influenced the green purchasing behavior, i.e. social influence, environmental attitudes, environmental concern, perceived seriousness of environmental problems, perceived seriousness of environmental behavior, perceived environmental responsibility, concern for self-image in environmental protection, and the government’s role. All predictors not influence directly to the green purchasing behavior. There is one variable that mediating between all predictors with the green purchasing behavior, namely green behavior intention. Besides that, the significant influence of all predictors of green purchasing behavior can be different from one place to another place. Seeing these phenomena, this study aims to determine which predictors that influence the green purchasing behavior of community in the Kecamatan Tembalang to   carrying their own shopping bag which is mediated by green behavior intention. The proposed model that use in this study is tested via a questionnaire collected from 100 respondents. After questionnaire collected, the Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach was used to analyze the research model of this study. The results of this study showed that green behavior intention has significant impact on green purchasing behavior and green behavior intention of peoples in Kecamatan Tembalang is positively influenced by three predictors i.e. of environmental attitudes, perceived seriousness of environmental problems, and concern for self-image in environmental protection. The result of this study also showed that the perception of concern for the environment is influenced by occupation. Finally, based on some predictors that influence green behavior intention of peoples in Kecamatan Tembalang, this study proposes a number of strategies that can reduce plastic bag usage by Tembalang communities, namely: informational strategy, consequence strategy, and structural strategy.

Abstract

There are huge barriers for small medium enterprises (SME) to adopt enterprises resource planning (ERP) into their systems. Open source ERP is one of the solutions to overcome it. This paper describes the reason of SME to apply open source ERP, examines seven open source ERPs, and highlight critical success factors for implementing open source ERP in SME.

Abstract

Traffic congestion is an obstacle in the big cities. Traffic light as a way of the traffic regulation to be a solution right now. With the installation of digital numbers as a counter in the lane of traffic light that can give time to continue to move to indicate the length of the queues turn at the intersection, is currently widely used on path scrossing, or intersection of roads in Indonesia. However, for a continuous density in traffic, can increases the counte rof traffic light at any time, should always be arranged, there’s so incovenience to the rider. This research is a about development called intelligent traffic light that is able toadapt wellto the congestion that occurs inthe traffic lane controlled byt raffic lights. By utilizing ATMega AVR-32 on electrical hardware development which will be applied to simulated traffic light and with the use of digital cameras that observ ethe density of the lane, would bea complete automation solution for paths run properly. Fuzzy algorithms will calculate carefully based on the information transmitted by the camera into microcontroller, then processed and rendered a decision which path in the lane is allowed to be run. High-density or Low-density in the lane of roads, will be important information for the fuzzy logic to determine whether the decision to. Finally, with these applied hardware and the implementation of fuzzy algorithms will be handled traffic on the lane intelligently.

Abstract

Pixel puzzle is a logic puzzle which consists of a blank grid with clues on the left of every row and on the top of every column. The objective is to paint blocks in each row and column so their length and sequence corresponds to the clues, and there is at least one empty square between adjacent blocks. There are many possible solutions to paint blocks in each row and column. Solving the puzzle manually gives the possibility to fill cells yield erroneously. Therefore an attempt to solve the puzzle with the aid of computer software is performed. In this paper, rule–based techniques and best-first search are utilized to solve the puzzle. According to experiments have been conducted, it can be concluded that rule-based techniques and best-first search are able to solve the Pixel Puzzle. The result also indicates that the larger size of pixel puzzle, the longer average time to solve is needed. Moreover, the average time to solve one cell of pixel puzzle depends on the size itself except for the 10 × 10 and 15 × 15 pixels.

Abstract

Titanium alloys possesses a hexagonal close packed (h.c.p) structure, called phase to ambient temperature. This structure changes to body center cubic (b.c.c), called phase to the temperature of 882 C. Machining process that generates high temperature during machining can affect on microstructures of machined surface, which represents as a quality of components. The turning parameters evaluated are cutting speed (55 - 95 m/min), feed rate (0.15 - 0.35 mm/rev), depth of cut (0.10 - 0.20 mm) and tool grade (uncoated, CVD and PVD). The aims of this paper are to investigate the effects of machining process on microstructures of machined surface and chip were machined using tungsten carbide inserts under dry cutting condition. The results show that machining at high cutting speed (95 m/min) affected on the microstructure significantly at the end of machining. The temperature is the most significant factor affected on microstructure of the machined surface and chip at shear zone. The changes of microstructure were also affected by the tool pressure during cutting.
