To simplify the procurement process, generally conducted by a process called a tender / auction. This is done by contracting companies to get quality and price in accordance with the desired budget. The company’s commitment subcontractors as the procurement of goods to be one key to successful contracting company doing business development process. Therefore, the subcontractor companies are required to have a good commitment. Therefore we need a project monitoring system that can monitor business processes running on those sub contractor company. The purpose of this research is to design a project monitoring information system in accordance with company requirements to operational activities more effective and efficient company. Keywords: project monitoring, design model, subcontractor

The success rate of information technology (IT) projects is still low. Based on one survey done in 1990s, only about 10% of software development project could be finished according to its planned budget and schedule. Another study in 1995 found that only 16.2% IT project succeed, and at the same time more than 31% IT projects were cancelled before finished. It has been found a lot of IT projects had been implemented with swelling budget. Although it is still debatable, one of the reasons of IT project implementation failure is because risk management in some IT projects is not implemented by the IT providers. The objectives of this research are to get knowledge and assess risks in implementing IT projects. This research also gives recommendations in mitigating IT project risks. In two projects that were used as sample of this research, it has been found some risks that could be happened in IT projects. That risks were then assessed based on the probability and its impact, and finally produced the recommendation for risk mitigation. All risks are described in the Risk Priority, moreover risk probability and impact is described in the probability-impact matrix from all of 4 levels. This research could improve the awareness of IT providers in Indonesia about the important of implementing IT risk management so that more IT projects in Indonesia could be run successfully. Keywords: Risk assessment, information technology project, impact, frequency

Strategic planning of information systems is to establish policy and planning implementation of information technology as a supporter of bussiness process and solution of the problem with high accuracy and know the possibilities of the system is less precise procedure. To achieve this, an information systems strategy planning organizations (including universities therein) should be done through the stages: an analysis of objectives and issues / information needs (goals and poblem), critical success factor (CSFs), SWOT analysis, impact analysis information technology (technology impact analysis) and analysis of the vision or strategic view of the system (strategy vision system) and a review model of business functions (business proccess) organization. In STMIK Raharja, strategic planning and information system model was developed based on through these stages and includes information services to be provided by STMIK Prog as a university. Determination of information system strategic planning and selection of models developed subsequently determined by the specific needs and determinants with attention to rules and procedures. This paper presented a discussion about the foundation and information systems strategic planning phases of Higher Education as an organization by taking a model of information services at Raharja STMIK Tangerang, with academic information subsystem as an example the case of the implementation of the development. To clarify the discussion, at this writing are also discussed briefly about the strategy on information systems implementation STMIK Prog as a university organization. Keywords: critical success factor, model, business process, strategy system vision

The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which the operational performance of information systems for inventory based on user perceptions of information systems. The research method used is survey method, descriptive techniques, and capture data using a questionnaire and before use, calibrated test item validity and reliability test. The technical data analysis used a range of criteria and methods of Pearson (Product Moment), and data processing with the help of SPSS version 12.0, and Microsoft Excel. The results of this study the overall average of 14.48 on a scale indicator from 10.6 to 15.0, where the network operating indicators, preparation and data entry, and production control showed less good. Water is one of the unique objects in nature. In computer vision applications, object identification mechanism of water can be done by analyzing the light on the object, either by analyzing the reflection or absorption of light. In addition, the approach in the detection of surface water must also consider the adequacy of the light source and some properties of water associated with the propagation of light, ie the water surface conditions (calm, wavy), the status of depth, turbidity, and presence or absence of material that floats on the water surface such as foam or other materials). The nature of this water will affect the reflection or absorption of light, which would affect the number of variations that must be defined for the detection of water. Several research approaches for detecting the water level that has been done is a color image classification method with color imagery and analysis of light polarization. This research is a study of research literature related to the mechanism of water detection using 2 methods. Discussion is to do the comparison includes comparing the descriptions of equipment and removal of surface water scenario based approach to the properties of water. Then, the comparison of image segmentation is arranged based on the said pattern identification. Keywords: polarization of light, color imagery, detection of water surface
