Abstract

Article clarifies a research having goals to make AVR programming system that is portable, by makingsystem modul based on AVR AT8535 as AVR Programmer/Master and AT8515 asAVR Socket. The module instructionat first is hex file was sending from PC to AVR Programmer/Master that later will be saved to external memory. Afterthe hex file saved, programming process will not need help from PC anymore. The saved hex file that saved toexternal memory can be choosen that later will be written to AVR Socket. So, the AVR program can be donerepeatedly as long as data on external memory still saved. The standalone that was made can only programed AVRATMega 8515L. From the research ita can be conluded that on case of repeated program, Stand Alone AVR able tosave time 20% more faster that programming using AVR codevision.

Abstract

Article talks about the design and implementation of wireless network in Engineering Campus of UniversitySains Malaysia. The goals of this research is designing a network which able to bring mobility to all network usersin this campus. In this research, there is a mathematical model which can be used to predict the coverage of theaccess point. Coverage testing had been carried out at library. Based on the original placement of the access pointwhich done by the PPKT, the Universiti Sains Malaysia’s (USM) computer center. Since the result is not so satisfying,a new design based on the characteristic of the access point and the building structure was done.Keywords: wireless network, smart campus, library

Abstract

Article presents analysis and analyze a software that utilize Geometry Fractal, especially Iterated FunctionSystem Fractal, as art. Research method that has been used in this research is by library study and by laboratoriumstudy to test the performance of the software. Result of the research has shown that converted music by GeometryFractal has various results, which depend on the parameters used in it and type of Geometry Fractal image produced.It can be said that usage of fractal in high iteration can produce clear image fractal and complicated music fractal.

Abstract

Article discusses the design of user complaint information system on Cater PLN Company Branch UPJ CityBekasi. The design systems consist of complaint acceptance module, scheduled module, field team determinationmodule, and complaint report module. This information system application program testing of user complaint isusing black-box testing method. Black-box testing method was done by giving a number of inputs to the applicationprogram that later processed suitable with the functional needs to produce the needed output. The research resultis the program able to give information about the complaint faster, accurate, and up to date compared to the use ofmanual document.Keywords: information system, customer

Abstract

Considering on the amount of money expenses, the Procurement of government IT Infrastucture is significantlyincreased. But, the increased of IT infrastructure expenses has not been supported by a good procurement process.Whereas, procurement process of IT infrastructure is one of IT governance parts, that is a system realization processaccording to Panduan Umum Tata Kelola Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi Nasional that published by Communicationand Information Ministry. Article discusses problem analysis on the procurement of government IT infrastructure. Theproblem analysis refer to framework ideal process of procurement of IT infrastructure that published by Cluster Consultant.From the framework, some problems are found on the whole level process of procurement of government IT infrastructurethat needs to be fixed.Keywords: procurement, infrastructure, information technology, governance

Abstract

Article analysis business process of a running report delivery and designes an automatied report delivery tothe ABC company partner by noticing the safety of data transfered. The used methods are literature, interview,survey, analysis, and design method. Abstract

Article discussed a speaker identification system. Which was a part of speaker recognition. The system identified asubject based on the voice from a group of pattern had been saved before. This system used a wavelet discrete transformationas a feature extraction method and an artificial neural network of back-propagation as a classification method. The voiceinput was processed by the wavelet discrete transformation in order to obtain signal coefficient of low frequency as adecomposition result which kept voice characteristic of everyone. The coefficient then was classified artificial neural networkof back-propagation. A system trial was conducted by collecting voice samples directly by using 225 microphones in nonsoundproof rooms; contained of 15 subjects (persons) and each of them had 15 voice samples. The 10 samples were used as atraining voice and 5 others as a testing voice. Identification accuracy rate reached 84 percent. The testing was also done onthe subjects who pronounced same words. It can be concluded that, the similar selection of words by different subjects has noinfluence on the accuracy rate produced by system.Keywords: speaker identification, wavelet discrete transformation, artificial neural network, back-propagation.
