Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dimensi kearifan lokal masyarakat nelayan dalam kegiatan penangkapan, mengidentifikasi kearifan local apa saja yang pernah dijalankan dan yang masih berlangsung dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Bulan April sampai Bulan Agustus 2015 di Desa Olele Kabupaten Bonebolango. Penelitian dilaksanakan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan system pengetahuan nelayan tradisional bersumber dari pengalaman yang diturunkan dari generasi ke generasi berikutnya, seperti pengetahuan dalam melakukan kegiatan penangkapan ikan. Masyarakat menggunakan alat tangkap yang sangat unik yaitu penggunaan alat bantu tangkap lampu suntik untuk menangkap cumi-cumi dan sarung tuna untuk membantu dalam kegiatan penangkapaan ikan tuna. Kegiatan penangkapan yang dilakukan oleh nelayan berpatokan pada prinsip kehidupan yang erat dengan nilai-nilai sosial dan spiritual yang mengandung makna yang sangat dalam, yaitu tentang suatu hubungan sesama manusia, alam (lingkungan), dan tuhannya. Local Wisdom in Fishing Community at Olele Village. The purpose of this study is to determine dimensions of local wisdom in fishing activities, identify what local wisdom has been carried out and which is still ongoing in people's lives. This research was conducted from April to August 2015 in the village of Olele, Bonebolango Regency. The study was conducted in a descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that traditional fishermen's knowledge system originated from experiences handed down from generation to generation, such as knowledge in fishing activities. The community uses a very unique fishing gear that is the use of a squid catching tool made of used syringe and the use of tuna sheath to help in tuna fishing. The fishing activities carried out by fishermen are based on the principle of life which is closely related to social and spiritual values that contain a very deep meaning, namely about a relationship between humans, nature (environment), and their god. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui daya tetas Artemia sp. pada air bersalanitas buatan dengan menggunakan beberapa jenis garam berbeda. Perhitungan daya tetas kista Artemia sp menggunakan metode grafimetrik. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimental dan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Hasil analisis ragam menunjukan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan nyata (F > 0,05) terhdap daya tetas Artemia sp. Hasil ini menunjukan bahwa penggunaan garam dengan perlakuan A ( perlakuan dengan garam cap segi tiga), perlakuan B (perlakuan dengan garam Cap Kerapan Sapi), Perlakuan C (perlakuan menggunakan garam Koki), dan perlakuan D (Perlakuan menggunakan air laut) tidak berpengaruh terhadap daya tetas kista Artemia sp. Kualitas air selama penelitian masih dalam batas optimal untuk penetasan kista Artemia sp. This study aims to determine the hatchability of Artemia sp. in water with artificial salinity using different types of salt. Calculation of hatchability of the cyst of Artemia sp using graphimetric methods. Experimentas were conducted with completely randomized design (CRD) by 4 treatments and 3 replications. The results of the analysis of variance showed that there was no significant difference (F> 0.05) on the hatchability of Artemia sp. These results indicate that the use of salt with treatment A (treatment with a ‘Cap Segitiga’ salt), treatment B (treatment with ‘Cap Sapi’ salt), Treatment C (treatment using ‘Cap Chef’ salt), and treatment D (Treatment using sea water) has no effect on hatchability of the cyst of Artemia sp. Water quality during the study was still within the optimal limits for hatching the cysts of Artemia sp. Katakunci : Artemia sp.; garam; salinitas buatan; daya tetas. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perendaman larutan daun pepaya (Carica papaya) dengan dosis yang berbeda terhadap sintasan ikan nila yang terinfeksi parasit Trichodina sp. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian perendaman larutan daun pepaya dengan dosis yang berbeda berpengaruh terhadap sintasan dan intensitas Trichodina sp. ikan nila. Pada dosis 20 mg/liter memberikan hasil sintasan terbaik dengan persentasi sebesar 66,67 %. Hasil perhitungan jumlah intensitas Trichodina sp. adalah pada perlakuan A (10 gram/liter) 53 individu/ekor, perlakuan B (15 gram/liter) 2 individu/ekor, perlakuan C (20 gram/liter) merupakan intensitas terendah yaitu 5 individu/ekor dan pada perlakuan D (kontrol 145 individu/ekor. Hasil pengukuran kualitas air masih berada pada kisaran yang dapat ditolerir untuk kegiatan pertumbuhan ikan nila yaitu suhu 27,17-27,35 0C, kadar pH yaitu 7,13-7,33 dan untuk kandungan oksigen terlarut yaitu pada kisaran 4,26-4,62 mg/l. This study aims to determine the effect of immersion in a solution of papaya leaves (Carica papaya) with different doses to the survival of tilapia infected with the parasite Trichodina sp. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The results showed that immersion in papaya leaf solution with different doses affected the survival tilapia and intensity of Trichodina sp.. At a dose of 20 mg/liter gives the best survival rate with a percentage of 66.67%. The results of the calculation of the amount of intensity of Trichodina sp. is in treatment A (10 grams / liter) 53 individuals / head, treatment B (15 grams / liter) 2 individuals / head, treatment C (20 grams / liter) is the lowest intensity i.e. 5 individuals / head and in treatment D (control 145 individuals / tail. The results of water quality measurements are still within the range that can be tolerated for tilapia growth activities that are temperatures 27.17 - 27.35 0C, pH levels are 7.13 - 7.33 and for dissolved oxygen content which is in the range of 4,26 - 4.62 mg / l. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perbedaan bentuk mata pancing terhadap hasil tangkapan dengan alat tangkap pancing ulur. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode experimental fishing yaitu dengan melakukan kegiatan operasi penangkapan ikan secara langsung di lapangan mengunakan mata pancing J hook dan Circle hook. Pengambilan Data dilakukan berdasarkan hasil tangkapan pancing ulur yang didapat dari kedua unit diambil kemudian dicatat jenis dan jumlahnya. Dari hasil penelitian terilihat bahwa perbedaan bentuk mata pancing tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap hasil tangkapan. This study aims to determine the effect of hook shape differences on the catch in hand line fishing. with a stretching fishing gear. This research was conducted with experimental fishing operations directly in the fishing ground using two different hooks: J hook and Circle hook. Data is collected based on the catch obtained from the two units taken then recorded the type and amount. From the results of the study it was seen that differences hook shape did not significantly affect the catch. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian substrat lumpur kolam sebagai pupuk untuk pertumbuhan Daphnia sp. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa pada setiap perlakuan tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata. Pemberian substrat lumpur kolam sebagai pupuk yang menggunakan substrat lumpur kolam pada ketebalan 10 cm dan substrat lumpur dasar kolam serta dosis substrat lumpur kolam yang berbeda sangat bervariasi, dimana rata-rata pertambahan Daphnia sp. tertinggi terdapat pada pemberian substrat lumpur dasar kolam pada perlakuan B yaitu 27,09 ind/l di ikuti oleh perlakuan C dan A yaitu 23,90 ind/l dan 23,67 ind/l serta terendah pada perlakuan D yaitu 9,71 ind/l. Dengan persamaan regresi pada pemberian substrat lumpur dasar kolam yaitu y = -4.507x + 32.36, R2 = 0.564, dan pemberian substrat lumpur pada ketebalan 10 cm yaitu y = -1.299x + 17.33 , R2 = 0.358. This study aims to determine the effect of the pond mud substrate as fertilizer for the growth of Daphnia sp. The method used in this study is an experimental method with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The results indicate that each treatment did not have a real effect. The application of pond mud substrate as fertilizer using pond mud substrate at a thickness of 10 cm and pond bottom mud substrate as well as different doses of pond mud substrate vary, where the highest average increase in Daphnia sp. was found in the pond mud substrate in treatment B that was 27.09 ind/l followed by treatments C and A which were 23.90 ind/l and 23.67 ind/l and the lowest in treatment D was 9.71 ind/l. With the regression equation for the bottom pond mud substrate treatmen is y = -4.507x + 32.36, R2 = 0.564, and muddy substrate treatment at 10 cm thickness is y = -1.299x + 17.33, R2 = 0.358. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keberadaan Salmonella sp. pada Yelowfin Tuna (Thunnus Albacores) yang dipasarkan di Kota Gorontalo. Dilakukan pengujian Total Plate Count (TPC) dan pengujian Salmonella sp. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sampel tuna segar terkontaminasi mikroba dengan jumlah tertinggi 3X106 CFU/g sehingga tidak memenuhi Standar Nasional Indonesia ikan segar (2729-2013). Sampel tuna loin dan tuna tumis negatif Salmonella sp., sedangkan tuna segar positif Salmonella sp.. This study aims to determine the presence of Salmonella sp. in Yelowfin Tuna (Thunnus Albacores) in Gorontalo City markets. Total Plate Count (TPC) and Salmonella sp. tests were conducted. The results showed that fresh tuna samples were contaminated with microbes with the highest amount of 3X106 CFU/g therefore failed to meet the Indonesian National Standard of fresh fish (2729-2013). Samples of loin and sauteed tuna were negative from Salmonella sp., while fresh tuna samples were positive. Katakunci: Salmonella sp.; Yellowfin Tuna; Thunnus albacores; mikroba; TPC.
