Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kelayakan usaha jaring insang dasar (Bottom gillnet) yang dioperasikan nelayan Desa Pohuwato Timur Kecamatan Marisa Kabupaten Pohuwato. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2015 sampai Januari 2016. Analisis usaha investasi, biaya usaha dan hasil penerimaan usaha dilakukan untuk menentukan apakah usaha nelayan jaring insang dasar layak untuk dijadikan usaha perikanan tangkap. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usaha jaring insang dasar layak untuk dijadikan usaha perikanan tangkap. Keuntungan yang didapat dari hasil penerimaan usaha rata-rata sebesar Rp 41,409,000 per tahun. Alat tangkap jaring insang dasar dapat memberikan kontribusi produksi ikan rata-rata sebesar 10.368 Kg ikan per tahun. Usaha ini mampu menyumbang sebesar Rp 93.312.000 per tahun khusus untuk Desa Pohuwato Timur. This study aims to look at the feasibility of bottom gill net operated by fishermen in Pohuwato Timur Village, Marisa District, Pohuwato Regency. This research was carried out in October 2015 to January 2016. Analysis of investment businesses, business costs and revenues was carried out to determine whether the bottom gill net business is feasible. The results showed that the bottom gill net is feasible to be a capture fisheries business. Profits derived from the business revenue of averagely Rp 41,409,000 per year. Bottom gill net fishing gear can contribute fish production to an average of 10,368 kg of fish per year. This business is able to contribute as much as Rp 93,312,000 per year specifically for the Village of Pohuwato Timur. Katakunci: Kelayakan usaha; perikanan tangkap; jaring insang dasar. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perendaman benih ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus) yang terinfeksi Trichodina sp. menggunakan larutan daun sirih (Piper betle) dengan dosis berbeda terhadap sintasan benih ikan nila. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) menggunakan ANOVA dengan 4 perlakuan dan masing-masing 3 kali ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perendaman benih ikan nila yang terinfeksi Trichodina sp. menggunakan larutan daun sirih dengan dosis berbeda berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap sintasan benih ikan nila. Dosis larutan daun sirih terbaik untuk mengendalikan penyerangan Trichodina sp. yaitu pada perlakuan C sebanyak 4 gram/liter dan sintasan benih ikan nila terbaik juga terdapat pada perlakuan C sebesar 66,67%. Hasil Uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) diperoleh pada setiap perlakuan berbeda nyata. This study aims to determine the effect of immersion of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) seeds infected with Trichodina sp. using a betel leaf solution (Piper betle) with different doses to the survival of tilapia seeds. This research is using experimental method. The design used in the study was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) using ANOVA with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The results showed that immersion of tilapia seeds infected with Trichodina sp. using betel leaf solution with different dosages has a very significant effect on the survival of tilapia seeds. The best dosage of betel leaf solution to control the attack of Trichodina sp. that is, in treatment C as much as 4 grams/liter and the best survival rate of tilapia fish is also in treatment C of 66.67%. The Smallest Significant Difference Test (LSD) obtained for each treatment was significantly different. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jumlah wisatawan destinasi wisata hiu paus, dampak ekowisata hiu paus serta faktor lingkungan dan kelembagaan di perairan Desa Botubarani. Penelitian ini berlangsung dari Bulan Mei sampai dengan Bulan Agustus 2016. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni metode deskriptif dan metode survey lapang.. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa selama adanya agresi wisata hiu paus telah terjadi peningkatan wisatawan jika dibandingkan dengan sebelumnya. Dampak dari destinasi wisata hiu paus ada dua yaitu dampak positif berupa peningkatan pendapatan, kehidupan masyarakat menjadi lebih baik serta kebutuhan hidup cukup terpenuhi. Dampak negatif adalah telah terjadi pencemaran lingkungan, serta hal lain terungkap dari sistem pengelolaan oleh masyarakat adalah transparansi keuangan diantara pengelola dan sistem kelembagaan yang perlu dikembangkan. Selain itu, lingkungan cukup mendukung untuk destinasi wisata hiu paus dan sistem kelembagaan serta aturan perlu diperbaiki akibat dari beberapa aturan belum diberlakukan. The purpose of this study was to determine the number of whale shark tourist destinations, the impact of whale shark ecotourism as well as environmental and institutional factors in the waters of Botubarani Village. This research took place from May to August 2016. The method used in this research is descriptive and field survey methods. The results showed that during the whale shark tourism aggression there had been an increase in tourists compared to before. The impact of the whale shark tourist destination is twofold: a positive impact in the form of increased income, community life is better and life needs are sufficiently met. The negative impact is that environmental pollution has occurred, and another thing revealed by the management system by the community is financial transparency between the manager and the institutional system that needs to be developed. In addition, the environment is quite supportive for whale shark tourism destinations and the institutional system and rules need to be improved as a result of some rules not yet enacted. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pakan buatan tepung keong mas (Pomacea canaliculata) dengan dosis berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan patin siam (Pangasius hypophthalmus). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan, menggunakan Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) dan dilakukan uji lanjut menggunakan Uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan mutlak panjang dan berat tertinggi ditunjukkan pada perlakuan D (9% perhari) sebesar 1,90 cm dan 0,73 g. Kelangsungan hidup benih ikan patin siam terbesar selama penelitian adalah perlakuan D sebesar 100 %. Perlakuan berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan patin siam. This study aims to determine the effect of artificial feed of golden snail flour (Pomacea canaliculata) with different doses on the growth and survival of Siamese catfish (Pangasius hypophthalmus) seeds. This research is using experimental method. The design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications, using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and carried out further tests using the Least Significant Difference Test (LSD). The results showed that the absolute highest growth in length and weight was shown in treatment D (9% per day) of 1.90 cm and 0.73 g. The greatest survival of Siamese catfish seedlings during the study was treatment D by 100%. The treatment has a very significant effect on the growth and survival of Siamese catfish seeds. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui formula cookies terpilih yang disubstitusi dengan tepung udang rebon (Mysis sp.). Penelitian ini terdiri atas 2 tahap yaitu pembuatan tepung udang rebon dan formulasi cookies udang rebon. Perlakuan pada penelitian ini adalah konsentrasi tepung udang rebon 10%, 15% dan 20%. Analisis data yang digunakan untuk pengujian organoleptik yaitu Kruskal Wallis yang dilanjutkan dengan uji lanjut Duncan, dan untuk penentuan produk terpilih dilakukan dengan uji Bayes. Hasil uji organoleptik menunjukkan bahwa tepung udang rebon memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap rasa, aroma, tekstur, kenampakan dan warna. Cookies yang disubstitusi tepung udang rebon dengan konsentrasi 10% adalah produk terpilih. This study aims to determine the selected cookie formula substituted with rebon shrimp flour (Mysis sp.). This research consists of 2 stages, namely making shrimp meal flour and formulation of shrimp cookies. The treatment in this study was the concentration of rebon shrimp flour 10%, 15% and 20%. Analysis for organoleptic testing is Kruskal Wallis followed by Duncan's follow-up test, and for the determination of the selected products carried out by the Bayes test. Organoleptic test results showed that rebon shrimp flour had a significant effect on taste, aroma, texture, appearance and color. Cookies substituted with rebon shrimp flour with a concentration of 10% are selected products.
