Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of the formula selected and crackers made from corn starch with the addition of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). Treatment factors in this study were different concentrations of tilapia were 30%, 50% and 70%. At the formulation stage conducted organoleptic tests (hedonic) against crackers consisting of texture, taste, color, appearance, and aroma. Phase characterization analyzed are the organoleptic quality of hedonic include texture, flavor, appearance and aroma. Hedonic test results indicate that the selected product is a composition of formula B with 100% corn starch and 50% of tilapia. Kruskal Wallis test results showed that the addition of tilapia no significant effect on the texture and flavor, but significant effect (p

Abstract

This study aims to determine the type of fungus and calculate the range of fungal colonies on sea algae Kappaphycus alvarezii by maintenance at different ages of 25 days, 35 days and 45 days. Samples taken from the District Anggrek, North Gorontalo District, Province Gorontalo. Method of data processing is descriptive and presentation of data in a frequency distribution table. Methods of testing done by the identification of marine algae samples in the laboratory of Fish Quarantine Station Class I Djalaluddin Gorontalo. The results showed that the fungus identified in the Sea Algae Kappaphycus alvarezii, are Rizhopus sp, Aureobasidium pullulans, Mucor sp and Fusarium sp. The range of fungal colonies on Sea Algae Kappaphycus alvarezii at the age of 25 days by the dilution factor, namely the 4000 colony 10-3, 10-4 and 10-5 of 80,000 colonies are 100,000 colonies, then at the age of 35 days with a 10-3 dilution factor of 1000 colonies , 10-4 ie 40,000 colonies and at the age of 45 days by the dilution factor yaitu7000 colony 10-3, 10-4 and 10-5 of 10,000 colonies are 500,000 colonies. Keywords: Sea Algae, Kappaphycus alvarezii, Fungi, tending age, colony.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine productivity and business feasibility of lift-net boat. The method used is a survey method with productivity and business feasibility analysis. The results showed that the lift-net boat productivity was 143.19 kg / GT. The feasibility of lift-net boats that lands their catch in the Kwandang Nusantara Fisheries Port (PPN) based on the Revenue Cost Ratio (R / C) value of 1.39; Payback Period (PP) 1.06 years or 1 year 22 days, and NVP + Rp. 301,768,360. This shows that lift-net boat fishery is feasible. Keywords: productivity; feasibility; lift-net; fishery.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of different stocking density on the growth and survival of fish fry carp (Osphronemus gouramy). This study used an experimental method. The design used was completely randomized design (CRD) with three treatments and three replications. The results showed that the absolute growth in length and the highest weight shown on treatment A (3 heads / l) respectively of 1.09 and 0.9 g cm, followed by treatment B (5 animals / l) respectively of 0.9 cm and 0.84 g, and the lowest in treatment C (7 animals / l), respectively for 0.86 cm and 0.8 g. Gurame fish seed viability during the study showed treatment A by 82.86% whereas 72.67% of treatment B and C treatment amounting to 83.33%. The results of this study continue with the LSD (Least Significant Difference) with a confidence level of 99%. Keywords: Gurame seedling; Osphronemus gouramy; survival; density; growth

Abstract

The aim of this study was to obtain a formula of sheet jam from a mixture of K. alvarezii seaweed and the best pineapple based on organoleptic hedonic sheet jam test. The results of preliminary research for cooking time based on trial and error is 60 minutes so that jam can be made in sheet form. The main research results on the characteristics of a mixture of jam sheets between seaweed and pineapple fruit concluded that the chosen formula was sheet jam with a comparison of seaweed and pineapple material of 1: 2. Keywords: Sheet jam; K. Alvarezii; pineapple; organoleptic
