Abstract

This study aims to determine the proper concentration of probiotics in the maintenance of vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) and see the effectiveness of local probiotics given to growth and survival rate (SR). This research was conducted in June - July 2016. The method used was an experimental method with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The design used in this study is a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The results showed that the addition of probiotics in each treatment, based on the analysis of various data, had no significant effect. The highest absolute weight growth was aimed at treatment A (0.2 ml / m3) which was 10.42 grams, followed by treatment C (0.6 ml / m3) 7.02 grams, B (0.4 ml / m3) 6.99 grams, and the lowest treatment D (0 ml / m3) 6.98 grams. The highest absolute length growth was aimed at treatment C, namely (0.6 ml / m3) 5.16 cm, followed by treatment A (0.2 ml / m3) 5.08 cm, D (0 ml / m3) 4.83 cm, and the lowest treatment B (0.4 ml / m3) 4.64 cm. The highest survival rate was in treatment A (0.2 ml / m3) which was 97%, followed by treatment B (0.4 ml / m3) 83%, D (0 ml / m3) 80% and lowest C (0.6 ml / m3) 73%. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of immersion in a mangrove api-api (Avicennia marina) leaf juice with different doses that affect the survival of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) seeds infected with the parasite Trichodina sp. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The fish used were tilapia that had been infected with an initial intensity of 205 Trichodina sp. This research was conducted for 7 days. The treatment used was the dosage of mangrove leaf juice and water, where the dosages were A (2.5 gram/liter), B (5 gram/liter), C (7.5 gram/liter) and D (Control). The results showed that giving different doses of api-api leaf immersion had an effect on the survival of tilapia where the use of the mangrove leaf juice at a dose of 7.5 mg/liter gave the best survival results with a percentage of 86.66% and also is a solution dose that can reduce the intensity of Trichodina sp. The results of the calculation of the intensity of Trichodina sp. in treatment A (2.5 gram/liter), namely 30 individuals/head and treatment B (5 gram/liter) 15 individuals/head of treatment C (7.5 gram/liter) the intensity of Trichodina sp. 6 individuals/head. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh frekuensi pemberian pakan alami cacing sutera (Tubifex sp) terhadap pertumbuhan benih ikan lele sangkuriang (Clarias sp). Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan nyata (p < 0,05) terhadap pertumbuhan panjang dan berat benih lele sangkuriang. Rata-rata pertumbuhan panjang dan berat tertinggi ditunjukkan pada perlakuan C berturut-turut sebesar 0,023 cm dan 0.011 gr, disusul perlakuan B berturut-turut sebesar 0,011 cm dan 0,007 gr, dan terendah pada perlakuan A berturut-turut sebesar 0,005 cm dan 0,005 gr. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa frekuensi pemberian pakan alami cacing sutera sebanyak 4 kali memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan benih lele sangkuriang. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness dose of EM4 (Effective Microorganism-4) pro-biotic to increase the population of Daphnia magna natural feed. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with three treatments and three replications. The treatment in this study used pro-biotic EM4 with a dose of 1 ml for treatment A, a dose of 3 ml for treatment B. 5 ml dose for treatment C and a dose of 7 ml for treatment D. The highest population growth rate was found in treatment A dose 1 ml. Followed by treatment B with a dose of 3 ml, treatment C at a dose of 5 ml and the lowest at treatment D at a dose of 7 ml with values of 0.29, 0.09, 0.05 and 0.03 respectively. ANOVA analysis showed that the provision of pro-biotic EM4 had an effect on the population growth rate of Daphnia magna. The data from the further test of the least significant difference (LSD) showed that treatment A was significantly different from treatment B, C and D. Treatment B, C and D were not significantly different. The results of water quality measurements for temperatures ranging from 26-29 ° C, pH ranges from 5-6 and Dissolved Oxygen (DO) ranges from 4.4-4.9 mg / liter. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of adding different doses of vitamin C to otohime artificial feed for the growth of humpback grouper (Chromileptis altivelis) seeds. This study used an experimental method and a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The results showed that the highest growth in length and weight was shown in treatment D respectively 1.96 cm and 4.14 g, followed by treatment C amounting to 1.87 cm and 4.12 g, followed by treatment B 1.65 cm and 4 , 07, and the lowest in treatment A of 1.57 cm and 3.97 g. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan ekstrak kunyit (Curcuma domestica) dengan lama perendaman berbeda terhadap kelangsungan hidup ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus) yang terinfeksi bakteri Aeromonas hydrophila. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai presentase kelangsungan hidup benih ikan nila pada perlakuan A (25%), B (25%), C (33%) dan D (25%). Hasil analisis sidik ragam (ANOVA) menunjukan bahwa perlakuan pemberian ekstrak kunyit dengan lamaperendaman berbeda terhadap kelangsungan hidup ikan nila yang diinfeksi bakteri Aeromonas hydrophilatidak memberikan pengaruh nyata. Parameter kualitas air selama penelitian masih dalam kondisi normal untuk kehidupan benih ikan nila. This study aims to determine the use of turmeric extract (Curcuma domestica) with a different immersion time on the survival of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) infected with Aeromonas hydrophila bacteria. This study used an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) of 4 treatments and 3 replications. The results showed that the percentage of survival of tilapia seed in treatments A is 25%, B is 25%, C is 33% and D is 25%. Results of analysis of variance (ANOVA) showed that the treatment of turmeric extract with different immersion duration on the survival of tilapia infected by Aeromonas hydrophilic bacteria did not have a real effect. Water quality parameters during the study were still in normal conditions for the life of tilapia seeds. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the physical and chemical quality of the waters and analyze the suitability of floating net cage (KJA) for grouper (Ephinepelus sp) aquaculture in the waters of Olele Village. The research method used is a survey method that is observing and determining the land of observation station points and the suitability matrix approach by measuring physical and chemical parameters. The results showed that Olele Village had the potential for the development of floating net cages (KJA) for grouper aquaculture and had two categories of suitability classes that were very suitable (S1) located at Station 1 and the appropriate category (S2) at Station 2 and Station 3. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of addition of VITERNA Plus with different doses in feed on growth and survival seed Siamese catfish (Pangasius hypophthalmus). This research using the experimental method, with a completely randomized design (CRD) and 4 treatment 3 replicates. Results show that the highest growth in length and weight indicated in treatment D of 1.86 cm and 0.72 grams, C 1, 65 cm and 0.62 grams, and 1.23 cm and 0.42 grams and the lowest growth, namely in treatment A 0.67 cm and 0.25 gram. Survival of Siamese catfish seed during treatment A showed 66.67 %, amounting to 76.19% of treatment B, treatment C amounting to 80.95% and amounted to 88.10% in treatment D. Results of analysis of variance in length and weight of the seed of Siamese catfish show that different doses VITERNA Plus have very real effect with the value of F Calculation of the length and weight are 65.57 and 105.46, while the value of F table (0.01) is 7.59. Abstract

This study aims to determine the type of fungus and calculate the range of fungal colonies on sea algae Kappaphycus alvarezii by maintenance at different ages of 25 days, 35 days and 45 days. Samples taken from the District Anggrek, North Gorontalo District, Province Gorontalo. Method of data processing is descriptive and presentation of data in a frequency distribution table. Methods of testing done by the identification of marine algae samples in the laboratory of Fish Quarantine Station Class I Djalaluddin Gorontalo. The results showed that the fungus identified in the Sea Algae Kappaphycus alvarezii, are Rizhopus sp, Aureobasidium pullulans, Mucor sp and Fusarium sp. The range of fungal colonies on Sea Algae Kappaphycus alvarezii at the age of 25 days by the dilution factor, namely the 4000 colony 10-3, 10-4 and 10-5 of 80,000 colonies are 100,000 colonies, then at the age of 35 days with a 10-3 dilution factor of 1000 colonies , 10-4 ie 40,000 colonies and at the age of 45 days by the dilution factor yaitu7000 colony 10-3, 10-4 and 10-5 of 10,000 colonies are 500,000 colonies. Abstract

This study aims to determine the duration of soaking of curcuma (Curcuma xanthorriza roxb) powder on the survival of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) seeds infected with Aeromonas hydrophilla bacteria. This study was an experiment with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) using analysis of variance (ANOVA) with four treatments and three repetitions. The treatments used were curcuma powder immersion, which were treatments A (3 minutes), B (5 minutes), C (7 minutes) and D (Control). The results showed that different soaking time using ginger powder did not affect the survival of tilapia seeds. The best treatment is treatment A (3 minutes) with a survival rate of 86.67%.
