Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the growth response of NPK fertilizer influence and bokashi snail shells production plant on growth and sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata L). A Randomized block design (RAK), was used while the treatment is a factorial design, which consists of two factors, are: 1. NPK fertilizers with 4 levels: N0 = 0 g/plot, N1 = 54 g/plot, N2 = 108 g/plot and N3 = 162 g/plot. 2. Fertilizer organic snail shell with 3 levels: C0 = 0 kg/plot, C1 = 2,7 kg/plot, C2 = 5,4 kg/plot. Best NPK fertilizer application are in the treatment of 162 g/plot (N3) that produce High Crop 150.58 cm, Period 13.22 leaf blade, stem diameter 29.06 mm, Production cobs/plant samples 430.67 g, Production cobs/plot 4.85 kg. Best organic granting snail shell on Bokashi treatment are 5,4 kg/plot (C2) that produce High Crop 150.67 cm, Period 13.19 leaf blade, stem diameter 28.75 mm, Production cobs/plant samples 422, 96 g, Production cobs/plot 4.76 kg. Interaction between NPK fertilizer and organic Bokashi shells not all parameter shows no significant effect on all parameters observed.Keyword : Bokashi Snail Shells, NPK Fertilizer,  Sweet Corn  (Zea mays Saccharata L)

Abstract

This research aims to; a) knowing the constraints of cassava agribusiness development in the District Pancur Batu, b) determine the condition of the relationship between sub-systems that play a role in agribusiness of cassava in District Pancur Batu, c) determine the condition of the marketing of cassava in  District Pancur Batu. This research was conducted in the District of Pancur Batu, with descriptive analysis method. Based on the research concluded; a) The condition of farm production of cassava in District Pancur Batu categorized quite good, but not yet showing the development of production. Cassava been farming community as an activity for easy maintenance process and does not require intensive care, b) the marketing conditions cassava is still modest and relatively fixed. Market chains are short so that share margin the biggest can be obtained by the manufacturer, c) Relationship between the subsystems of agribusiness cassava distinguished relationship is not tight and continuous on subsystem providers the means of production by farmers and relationships that continuously into sub systems production, marketing and processing because there is a relationship mutually beneficial. Based on the results suggested; a) government Deli Serdang undertake training and extension to farmers to increase farm production of cassava, b) the government of Deli Serdang provide incentives to farmers to stimulate an increase in farm production of cassava in District Pancur Batu, c) the government of Deli Serdang attention to marketing conditions cassava, by providing information and of action clear to the farmers market in the district of  Pancur Batu. Keywords: agriculture, agro-industry, cassava

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of income, agricultural risk, the selling price, cost of production and availability of water for the conversion of rice land into palm oil ,. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The sampling method using Random Sampling is taking a random sample by strata. Data analysis method used is multiple linear analysis. The result is a coefficient of determination (R-Square) 0.91. This value indicates that simultaneously (synchronously) wetland conversion into oil palm plantations are affected by revenue, selling prices, agricultural risk, the cost of production and availability of water by 91% and the rest influenced by other factors beyond the variables that are not tested by 9%, Most variable production costs significantly affect wetland conversion to oil palm plantations. While the variable income, sales price, the risk of agriculture and availability of water does not significantly influence wetland conversion to oil palm plantations. Keywords: Land conversion, Palm land, rice land

Abstract

This study used a randomized block design Factorial with two factors, namely the differences of some type sour orange (Citrus sp) (J) with 3 levels ie J1 citrus musk (Citrus mitis), J2 lime, J3 (Citrus hystrix). The second factor is the provision of onion extract concentration (B) with 3 traf, namely (B1) onion extract concentration of 25%, (B2) onion extract concentration of 50%, (B3) concentration of garlic extract merah75%. The results showed growth of shoot cuttings of lemon give the best effect against high Parameter shoots, number of leaves, number of shoot and root length. Onion extract with a concentration of 75% effect on age parameters appear shoots, shoot height, leaf number, number of shoot and root length. There is no interaction between several types of sour orange and red onion extract concentration levels on all parameters of observation.Keyword:  Concentration, Extrack Onion ,  Acid Orange

Abstract

Jagung merupakan komoditas pangan sumber karbohidrat kedua setelah beras, sangat penting untuk ketahanan pangan. Kebutuhan jagung di Indonesia saat ini cukup besar, yaitu lebih dari 10 juta ton pipilan kering per tahun.Adapun konsumsi jagung terbesar untuk pangan dan industri pakan ternak.Untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi jagung dapat dilakukan dengan menyediakan unsur hara yang cukup dan berimbang. Salah satu usaha untuk memenuhi kebutuhan akan unsur hara dapat dilakukan dengan pemberian pupuk organik. Salah satu cara untuk memperbaiki sifat tanah adalah pendekatan bioteknologi tanah dengan memanfatkan mikroorganisme seperti mikoriza Parameter yang diamati adalah :tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas helaian daun, bobot produksi/plot, dan volume akar .Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) factorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor :Faktor pertama adalah perlakuan mikoriza terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu : M0  =  0 g /plot;  M1 =  100 g/ plot ; M2= 150 g/plot. Dan perlakuan pupuk sludge terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu : S0  =  0 g/plot ; S1 =2kg/ plot ; S2 =4 kg/  plot; S3= 6 kg/plot. Percobaan ini dilakukan dengan 3 ulangan Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun dan bobot produksi akibat perlakuan pemberian dosis mikoriza dan pemberianpupukorganik serta interaksinya memperlihatkanpengaruhyang berbeda tidak  nyata. Sedangkan untuk volume akar memperlihatkan pengaruh yang berbeda sangat nyata terhadap perlakuan pemberian mikoriza  dan pemberian pupuk organik serta interaksinya memperlihatkan pengaruh yang berbeda tidak nyataKeyWords: Jagung, mikoriza dan sludge
