Abstract

The success of the learning process in the classroom is largely determined by the learning strategies, however complete and clear other components, without implemented through appropriate strategies, then these components will not have any meaning in the process of achieving goals. Therefore every teacher will teach required to implement certain strategies or methods in the implementation of learning. The purpose of this study are: (a) Want to know the increase in student achievement after the implementation of learning strategies increase the ability to think, (b) Want to know influence student motivation after learning model applied CTL. This study used action research (action research) a total of three rounds. Each round consists of four phases: design, activities and observation, reflection, and refisi. The targets of this research is class V. The data obtained in the form of a formative test results, observation sheet learning activities mengajar.Dari the analyst found that student achievement has increased from cycle I to cycle III, namely, the first cycle (68.00%), cycle II (80.00%), the third cycle (92.00%). Based on these results it can be said that the model of active and creative learning contributes positively to the motivation of students of class V SDN Kraton 3 District of Bangkalan, and this model can be used as an alternative learning.

Abstract

Smoking is an activity sucking and wafting smoke from mouth and nose by burning roll of tobacco name cigarette. Smoke from cigarette can be waft by other people near smokers. Almost research says, that smoking had bad effect for health and some research shows that smoking habbit can reduce working ability. This research, by using descriptive quantitative method try to describe smoking prevalencies at PGSD Trunojoyo University college student, describe their social economy charactertic and the impact to their economic and studies goals. The result of this research shows only nine percent PGSD College Student in Trunojoyo University had smoking habbit. If we compare with college student hadn’t smoke, there are less alocated money for food and also for buying books for support they studies. They cummulatife prestation indexs (IPK) less than non smoking college student

Abstract

The success of the learning objectives is determined by many factors including the factor of the teachers in implementing the learning process, because teachers can directly influence, creating and improving intelligence and skills of the students. To overcome the above problems and to achieve the goal of education to the maximum, the teacher's role is very important and teachers are expected to have a method / model of good teaching and learning models are able to choose appropriate and in accordance with the concepts of subjects that will be delivered. The purpose of this action research are: (a) Describe the implementation of improvement of learning Indonesian narrative text reading material with your reading method in class IV SDN Kokop 1 school year 2013-2014. (B) Describe the improvement of learning outcomes Indonesian narrative text reading material in grade IV SDN Lessons Kokop 1 year 2013-2014. This study used action research (action research) as much as two rounds. Each round consists of four phases: design, activities and observation, reflection, and refisi. The targets of this research was grade IV SDN Kokop 1 of the school year 2013-2014. Data obtained in the form of a formative test results, observation sheet teaching and learning activities. From the analyst found that student achievement has increased from cycle I to cycle II. Percentage mastery learning in pre-cycle is 53.3% using conventional teaching methods. After using your reading in the first cycle obtained mastery learning which decreased from pre-cycle is 50% and in the second cycle to be improved from the results of reflection, learning completeness sehinggan increased by 87.5%. so it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students from the first cycle to the second cycle by using the method of increasing your reading.
